    Hybrid after 6 days!

Lost most of my lashes after 6 days! At my last appointment I was instructed that my person was sick, should have been called and given a choice. The person before over charged me and was not impressed. Thought I would give her 3rd chance. Was told previously that they would refund my $20.00 but was not sure how to ask since I had a different person. I had 3 people, not impressed! The last has been the worst! Come only if you want total lashes done every week! That about how long they last!

    This is what I got.

Don't waste your money. I just spent $300 for terrible super fake looking lashes. I promptly had them removed. Everyone that saw them for that 24 hours, agreed that they were horrible. I asked for and (showed) a picture of what I wanted. Natural looking full lash for a surf trip I'm going on. The picture was also from Nicole's (the technician's who did the job- IG page), so I asked that she repeat what she "did" in that photo she posted. She said "yes ok- that's a hybrid lash" I said "ok great, that's what I want". When I saw the finished work I was horrified. I looked like Dolly Parton or I had fake Halloween lashes on. I asked her why didn't she give me what I asked for and she said did. Even more of a worry that SHE thought it looked really good!!! What???? and some how that it looked like the picture. Not even close. I will say Nicole was very nice even though I was beyond disappointed. She removed them (free of charge- are you kidding? It definitely should be free) and my lashes are still ok. THANK GOD. So thank you Nicole for making sure I was happy. Her boss Brandi offered to get me another set free of charge. Is this a joke? No way in hell would I want someone who didn't see there was a problem the FIRST time, doing it again. Naturally, I declined. Again even though I didn't like what Nicole did. She was very nice throughout and helpful to get them off of me. I asked to speak to the owner Brandi because OF COURSE I wanted a full refund (anyone would). I spent $300 for nothing! The receptionist promptly my informed me that I signed a document that says no refunds---BE AWARE----they don't tell you that and they should- if they are not afraid that their lashes will look ok, why only put in fine print? Hmmm? be upfront. If they would have VERBALLY told me "no refunds- no matter how bad it looks or how much money you spend" I would have declined their lash service, and gone somewhere else. Any good company backs their work with full refunds if the customer is not satisfied. When I asked the receptionist to speak with Brandi. She said she "can pass along the message" (ha! Right girl- sure you will - wink!) she had an attitude made it clear my message would fall on deaf ears because "Brandi was here when You weren't happy and she agrees with the technician". Really?!? You were there and didn't step in to talk to me when I was CLEARLY not happy? Interesting. So I wasn't even able to speak with her which is why I'm doing this review. The receptionist asked me to not write a bad review. Not a chance. By not speaking with me and making sure your customer was happy, you basically paid $300 to get THIS negative review on yelp plus my own emails that will go out letting all the females I know- my negative experience at Glitzy Lashes. If you read this whole thing. Seriously do yourself a favor, there are SO many lash places out there. Spend your hard earned $300 elsewhere. And since I can't reply to Brandis response. I will here. It was not a difference of "communication". Nicole did them too much and fake looking. Period. I was clear (with a picture of lashes she did) and of what I wanted. There's a way to make lashes look good OR awful and fake. I got awful and fake. And you should recognize that. I did ZERO wrong and I want my $300 back. Plain and simple.

Unfortunately, my experience today completely destroyed my confidence in this practice. The office opens at 9:00 a.m. I arrived at 9:20 a.m. to pick up my next month's medication before leaving town. This was a routine refill, and I specifically planned my morning around it because today was my only opportunity to get my medication before my trip. When I arrived, the receptionist informed me that she was the only employee in the office and that nobody was there who could actually assist patients. She told me someone was supposedly on the way but had no idea when they would arrive. I waited, hoping someone would show up, but when I left at 9:30 a.m., a full 30 minutes after the office had opened, there still was not a provider or staff member present who could help patients. While I was waiting, I was informed that I could not receive my medication because I needed a new physical. This was the first time I had ever heard of this requirement. Four weeks ago, when I picked up my previous month's medication, nobody mentioned that I would need a physical before my next refill. Had I been informed at that appointment, I would have scheduled one immediately. Instead, I was only told about it on the exact day I needed my medication and was leaving town. I explained that this left me with no opportunity to schedule the required appointment before my trip. I was then told there were no providers available, no telehealth appointments available, and no way to resolve the situation that day. What was most disappointing was the response when I explained that I had never been informed of this requirement. I was told, "I probably did tell you that. I'm really good at reminding people." That response felt dismissive and did nothing to address the fact that I was now being forced to interrupt a treatment plan that had been working well because of a communication failure on the clinic's end. My frustration is not with the requirement itself. If patients need a physical every six months, that is a reasonable policy. My issue is the lack of communication, the fact that the office was not adequately staffed when it opened, and the complete lack of options offered to help an established patient avoid an interruption in treatment. When it comes to healthcare, communication, reliability, and professionalism matter. Patients should not discover critical refill requirements only after arriving for a scheduled medication pickup, especially when there is nobody available to help them once they get there. Because of this experience, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Instead of turning me away and making me reschedule for another day, Diana went above and beyond. She immediately valued my time and creatively solved the problem by arranging a Microsoft Teams meeting with a Nurse Practitioner right then and there. I was taken care of quickly and received excellent service. Diana also took the extra time to remind me exactly how to dispense my medication properly, which I truly appreciated. Thank you, Diana and the entire team, for your thoughtful, efficient, and outstanding care!

TIRZEPITIDE AT VITALOGY IS INEFFECTIVE…read more The FDA has made it illegal to compound or sell tirzepatide in early 2025, although they are not strictly enforcing it. BUT DON'T BE FOOLED. You might not care about the FDA, but that is not the point. The compounded product DOES NOT WORK because the ingredients to make it were stockpiled late last year with the imminent medspa/tirzepitide cease and desist. Stockpiling, or hoarding, ingredients to sell later renders a drug useless, and the public needs to know these ingredients actually DO expire. Not only that, in shipping ingredients can get warm, making it more INEFFECTIVE. The labs have been so inconsistent, especially at Vitalogy, where they have encountered roadblocks with production from their labs. They kept changing how it is dosed and administered, but never disclosed to me WHY, other than "problems with the labs" and I was misled the entire time. The truth is they are not allowed to be selling Tirzepitide, and the products they get from the compounding facilities are made WEAK or from EXPIRED ingredients. MY STORY: I've spent literally thousands of dollars here since early summer of 2024 in an effort to boost insulin and curb hunger. I started at 162 (female, 5'6"), and immediately lost 7 pounds in two weeks, then lost and additional 11 pounds over the course of about 9 months. I thought something was fishy, but had no idea what. I continually had to increase the dose, and by March of 2025 I was gaining weight and constantly hungry. I hobbled along on Vitalogy's product for another 6 months, working very hard to just to maintain my loss, thinking the problem was me. However, I was recently told by my doctor that any compounded Tirzepatide I was using had expired since, basically, January. I am livid, but there is nothing I can do about it. My doctor prescribed me Zepbound, and I now am using it directly through the Eli Lilly website on a "self-pay" plan, which is actually CHEAPER then what Vitalogy is selling their garbage for. At my last visit I was told my weight stall was my own fault, because I need 1,300 calories just to maintain my current weight. If I could eat that, or less, I would easily lose the weight or maintain the loss completely on my own--- WITHOUT PAYING $200 per shot/week!!! In other words, the Tirzepatide is supposed to do it's job. That's what we are paying for, and the bottom line is that their product DOES NOT WORK! I told my doctor I am only taking my for weightloss and he's fine with that, because Mounjaro is for diabetes patients and Zepbound is for weight loss patients. Insurance covers Zepbound for obesity, and since I am not considered obese and just want to lose a few more pounds and maintain the loss, I must self-pay. I am totally fine with that. If you are considering taking this medication see your doctor. It is easy to find someone to prescribe this medication. Your insurance might cover it (what could be better than that?!), and if they don't, Eli Lilly puts you on a self-pay plan that is $500 per (4) shots, regardless of the dose (and even less $$ if it's for starting doses of 2.5 or 5mg). I can even use my HSA card to pay. Nothing beats being under the care of a real doctor, and taking the REAL medicine. I WISH I HAD KNOWN THIS!!!!! NO MED SPA should be trusted!! This is my story with Vitalogy, but every other spa is like this. None of them are legally allowed to sell compounded Tirzepatide anymore. I am livid that Vitalogy just kept taking my money and no one ever said a thing to me. I was misled.

In my case, an upfront payment of 5k got me the privilege of purchasing meal replacements (which you can easily purchase on your own), zoom meetings every two weeks, blood work, and an rx for phentermine. Within about a month, the entire program staff turned over and I had no idea who I was assigned to speak with on zoom every two weeks, nor did the zoom meetings ever feel helpful. Needless to say I've had better results with pretty much any other meal replacement program I've tried, and not paid 5k upfront for. Optavia requires no upfront 5k payment, the meal replacements were WAY tastier/better, and the community/coaching are pretty outstanding in comparison to MedFit. I have multiple doctors in my family and all of them say this doctor gives them a bad name. Lesson learned. If a doctor makes you pay upfront and makes you sign a contract saying absolutely no refunds, regardless of your patient experience or outcome, that is a gigantic red flag. Dr Tran has had multiple opportunities to make this right but maintains she's entitled to my money regardless of service delivery or outcome or patient satisfaction. I was quite surprised when I was weighed, fully dressed except for shoes and socks. I weighed 10 pounds less than I expected. And my BMI was 23.5? It was 18.5 for YEARS, but I think that sounds sus at this point. When it was 18.5, I worked out 3-5 days a week and wore a size 4. The math doesn't work out. I literally JUST started Pilates and the gym again. So if you use a Groupon, which I did, you have to sign an agreement that you can only use ONE Groupon IN YOUR LIFETIME. Weirdorama. I've purchased many, many Groupons, and no one else does this, in my experience. Sometimes you have to wait six months or a year to repurchase. Groupon says that multiples of the deal can be purchased. They say they keep trying to get Groupon to change that. The offices are surprisingly large, and they offer quite a few services, including Coolsculpting (friend says that it doesn't work), and an infrared sauna. Sauna is $40 for 30 minutes, or four sessions for $120. Idk if that's a good price or not. You can buy your own sauna on Amazon if you're so inclined and have the space. I was asked if I wanted to go on their monthly plan--no hard sell--and politely declined. I took my shots home, but they will administer them in-office.
