I have been a patient at this clinic for the past several months and have had great success with my…read moreGLP-1 weight loss program. Unfortunately, my experience today completely destroyed my confidence in this practice. The office opens at 9:00 a.m. I arrived at 9:20 a.m. to pick up my next month's medication before leaving town. This was a routine refill, and I specifically planned my morning around it because today was my only opportunity to get my medication before my trip. When I arrived, the receptionist informed me that she was the only employee in the office and that nobody was there who could actually assist patients. She told me someone was supposedly on the way but had no idea when they would arrive. I waited, hoping someone would show up, but when I left at 9:30 a.m., a full 30 minutes after the office had opened, there still was not a provider or staff member present who could help patients. While I was waiting, I was informed that I could not receive my medication because I needed a new physical. This was the first time I had ever heard of this requirement. Four weeks ago, when I picked up my previous month's medication, nobody mentioned that I would need a physical before my next refill. Had I been informed at that appointment, I would have scheduled one immediately. Instead, I was only told about it on the exact day I needed my medication and was leaving town. I explained that this left me with no opportunity to schedule the required appointment before my trip. I was then told there were no providers available, no telehealth appointments available, and no way to resolve the situation that day. What was most disappointing was the response when I explained that I had never been informed of this requirement. I was told, "I probably did tell you that. I'm really good at reminding people." That response felt dismissive and did nothing to address the fact that I was now being forced to interrupt a treatment plan that had been working well because of a communication failure on the clinic's end. My frustration is not with the requirement itself. If patients need a physical every six months, that is a reasonable policy. My issue is the lack of communication, the fact that the office was not adequately staffed when it opened, and the complete lack of options offered to help an established patient avoid an interruption in treatment. When it comes to healthcare, communication, reliability, and professionalism matter. Patients should not discover critical refill requirements only after arriving for a scheduled medication pickup, especially when there is nobody available to help them once they get there. Because of this experience, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Instead of turning me away and making me reschedule for another day, Diana went above and beyond. She immediately valued my time and creatively solved the problem by arranging a Microsoft Teams meeting with a Nurse Practitioner right then and there. I was taken care of quickly and received excellent service. Diana also took the extra time to remind me exactly how to dispense my medication properly, which I truly appreciated. Thank you, Diana and the entire team, for your thoughtful, efficient, and outstanding care!

TIRZEPITIDE AT VITALOGY IS INEFFECTIVE…read more The FDA has made it illegal to compound or sell tirzepatide in early 2025, although they are not strictly enforcing it. BUT DON'T BE FOOLED. You might not care about the FDA, but that is not the point. The compounded product DOES NOT WORK because the ingredients to make it were stockpiled late last year with the imminent medspa/tirzepitide cease and desist. Stockpiling, or hoarding, ingredients to sell later renders a drug useless, and the public needs to know these ingredients actually DO expire. Not only that, in shipping ingredients can get warm, making it more INEFFECTIVE. The labs have been so inconsistent, especially at Vitalogy, where they have encountered roadblocks with production from their labs. They kept changing how it is dosed and administered, but never disclosed to me WHY, other than "problems with the labs" and I was misled the entire time. The truth is they are not allowed to be selling Tirzepitide, and the products they get from the compounding facilities are made WEAK or from EXPIRED ingredients. MY STORY: I've spent literally thousands of dollars here since early summer of 2024 in an effort to boost insulin and curb hunger. I started at 162 (female, 5'6"), and immediately lost 7 pounds in two weeks, then lost and additional 11 pounds over the course of about 9 months. I thought something was fishy, but had no idea what. I continually had to increase the dose, and by March of 2025 I was gaining weight and constantly hungry. I hobbled along on Vitalogy's product for another 6 months, working very hard to just to maintain my loss, thinking the problem was me. However, I was recently told by my doctor that any compounded Tirzepatide I was using had expired since, basically, January. I am livid, but there is nothing I can do about it. My doctor prescribed me Zepbound, and I now am using it directly through the Eli Lilly website on a "self-pay" plan, which is actually CHEAPER then what Vitalogy is selling their garbage for. At my last visit I was told my weight stall was my own fault, because I need 1,300 calories just to maintain my current weight. If I could eat that, or less, I would easily lose the weight or maintain the loss completely on my own--- WITHOUT PAYING $200 per shot/week!!! In other words, the Tirzepatide is supposed to do it's job. That's what we are paying for, and the bottom line is that their product DOES NOT WORK! I told my doctor I am only taking my for weightloss and he's fine with that, because Mounjaro is for diabetes patients and Zepbound is for weight loss patients. Insurance covers Zepbound for obesity, and since I am not considered obese and just want to lose a few more pounds and maintain the loss, I must self-pay. I am totally fine with that. If you are considering taking this medication see your doctor. It is easy to find someone to prescribe this medication. Your insurance might cover it (what could be better than that?!), and if they don't, Eli Lilly puts you on a self-pay plan that is $500 per (4) shots, regardless of the dose (and even less $$ if it's for starting doses of 2.5 or 5mg). I can even use my HSA card to pay. Nothing beats being under the care of a real doctor, and taking the REAL medicine. I WISH I HAD KNOWN THIS!!!!! NO MED SPA should be trusted!! This is my story with Vitalogy, but every other spa is like this. None of them are legally allowed to sell compounded Tirzepatide anymore. I am livid that Vitalogy just kept taking my money and no one ever said a thing to me. I was misled.

Instead of answering me, the staff got short and rude with me. They then told me I would still have to pay an additional $1,600 on top of the Groupon price. This is extremely misleading advertising. The $449 price is basically fake. They are using the Groupon as bait to get you in the door and then hit you with a huge upsell. Save your money and go somewhere else. Terrible experience.

I was quite surprised when I was weighed, fully dressed except for shoes and socks. I weighed 10 pounds less than I expected. And my BMI was 23.5? It was 18.5 for YEARS, but I think that sounds sus at this point. When it was 18.5, I worked out 3-5 days a week and wore a size 4. The math doesn't work out. I literally JUST started Pilates and the gym again. So if you use a Groupon, which I did, you have to sign an agreement that you can only use ONE Groupon IN YOUR LIFETIME. Weirdorama. I've purchased many, many Groupons, and no one else does this, in my experience. Sometimes you have to wait six months or a year to repurchase. Groupon says that multiples of the deal can be purchased. They say they keep trying to get Groupon to change that. The offices are surprisingly large, and they offer quite a few services, including Coolsculpting (friend says that it doesn't work), and an infrared sauna. Sauna is $40 for 30 minutes, or four sessions for $120. Idk if that's a good price or not. You can buy your own sauna on Amazon if you're so inclined and have the space. I was asked if I wanted to go on their monthly plan--no hard sell--and politely declined. I took my shots home, but they will administer them in-office.

A Life-Changing Experience with Dr. Bruice: A Comprehensive Review…read more I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Bruice to anyone struggling with hormonal imbalances that have diminished their quality of life. This is a longer review, as I want to share my full experience to help others decide if Dr. Bruice is the right fit for them. My Journey to Becoming a Patient: I met Dr. Bruice over two years ago, following a hysterectomy at 40 after enduring over 20 years of a debilitating condition. When I say debilitating, I mean it - my quality of life had been reduced to just 20%. While the surgery addressed the disease itself, the hormonal patch my surgeon prescribed (which I was told I'd need for most of my life) was inadequate for someone my age. Not only did it irritate my skin, but I also suffered from night sweats, mood swings, fatigue, dietary changes, muscle soreness, and joint pain. When I sought further help, I was disheartened to hear from my surgeon that insurance wouldn't cover a stronger dose, and there weren't any viable alternatives. Frustrated but determined, I began my search for the best hormone replacement specialist in the city, and that's when I found Dr. Bruice. Health Improvements: Since becoming Dr. Bruice's patient, my health has transformed. The once-familiar struggles with (1) constant body aches, (2) night sweats that left me sleeping on towels, (3) unpredictable tears in public, (4) a non-existent libido, (5) fear of going bald, and (6) uncontrollable cravings (especially chocolate) have all disappeared. In their place, I've regained (1) the ability to engage in physical activities without joint pain - I'm running again! (2) a thriving social life, (3) restorative sleep, and (4) noticeable hair regrowth. But what's been even more surprising are the mental and emotional improvements. My mental clarity is sharper than ever, allowing for better focus, enhanced job performance, quicker decision-making, and the ability to tackle life's demands head-on. Emotionally, I feel more confident, optimistic, and in control than I have in years. I've rediscovered my inner happiness and finally feel like I can manage my emotions like a normal person. Because of these changes, for the first time in decades, I can walk through life confidently, making decisions with the assurance that I can handle whatever comes my way. And believe me, life has changed dramatically since! Dr. Bruice's Bedside Manner: Dr. Bruice is a breath of fresh air compared to doctors working within large, impersonal hospital systems. He takes the time to listen, empathize, and provide thoughtful solutions, adjusting treatments as needed. He genuinely cares about understanding my life circumstances, and his insights have even prompted some positive life changes beyond the scope of my health. His practice is warm, welcoming, and far more convenient than the sterile environments of larger clinics. What I Tell My Friends: As someone now in the menopause stage, many of my friends are going through perimenopause or menopause themselves, struggling with symptoms like mood swings, fatigue, and night sweats. My advice to them? Find a doctor like Dr. Bruice who listens, tests thoroughly, and tailors the right medication for your needs. That way, you can get off the exhausting cycle of trial and error, balance your hormones, and truly enjoy life again. Final Thoughts: Words can't fully capture the gratitude I feel for Dr. Bruice and all we've achieved together. After more than two decades of battling hormonal and health issues, I feel amazing--something I once thought was impossible.

I'm writing this just as a reminder for women to follow their instinct and trust their gut and…read morebody. I was seeing Dr. Bruice for HRT. I'm post-menopausal, 5 years and, at the time, I'd been on HRT for 1-1/2 years. I started bleeding for 9 days and about the amount of a normal period. I emailed Dr. B asking him his opinion and he wanted to increase my progesterone from 100 to 200mg. He said the hormone imbalance was causing the bleeding and that he was sure of it. I questioned that, mostly because I really didn't want to increase my hormones (personal preference) and wanted to explore other options. I asked to speak with him on the phone and he just seemed to only want to communicate through email. He kept insisting that I increase my hormone so I looked up my situation online and learned that it is common for women to bleed on hormones but almost always it's when they start HRT, not 1-1/2 years in. The internet told me to see a doctor as soon as possible. I went to my OB-GYN (which Dr. B's website says he WAS board certified in). I went and my doctor confirmed with me that the standard of care in my situation is to check for gynecologic issues ranging from cancer to endometriosis. It turned out I had a polyp that I choose to have removed because it had a 15% chance of being malignant. That seemed too high of a chance to just watch it. Fortunately, it was benign. I told Dr. B when I was diagnosed with the polyp, he responded that "yes" a polyp can cause bleeding but said nothing else. Soon after my procedure I decided that I wasn't getting good care from Dr. B and told him that I didn't feel like he was practicing the standard of care and I would not be renewing his services. I've heard nothing from him. All this to say, some people think he's the best and that's great, I just want to support woman and their health and remind all of us to ask questions when you feel something is off.

About a year and a half ago, after having three children followed by nearly two years of pandemic…read moreliving, I knew that I needed to change up my fitness and nutrition habits. After many, many search sessions, I kept coming back to Body by Emilee and finally took the plunge to set up my initial consultation. And now, I'd probably describe myself as a superfan of Emilee's. From the get-go, Emilee was really approachable, kind, and very easy to work with. We started with nutrition sessions, and while I was definitely not eating the most healthy diet, I never felt bad talking about my habits. Emilee's approach is a "sure and steady" way of looking at things. Instead of something drastic we were able to look at my habits and make small, consistent changes over the course of the past year that has served me really well. Plus, nothing is off-limits. Emilee believes in creating a sustainable lifestyle of nutrition and exercise. And I'm more of a "moderation in everything" kinda gal, so I couldn't handle someone telling me there'd be no more, oh, I don't know, fried chicken or champagne or cake. From there, I was also able to add personal strength training with Emilee two days a week. While the sessions are never easy, Emilee is always very mindful about how hard we are working and adjusting my weights or my exercises to have maximum impact on my goals. And working out with her is honestly just a ton of fun. Beyond the excellent coaching aspect, Emilee has built a solid community of women around her, both the folks she coaches as well as just the people she knows in the world. She hosts regular events for everyone who trains with her that span a wide variety of topics, everything from a session on learning to add meditation into your routine to a spin class. Every time I attend one of the events, I marvel at how much I genuinely like everyone that is there. For me, a number on the scale wasn't (and isn't) my ultimate goal, but I have lost nearly 30 pounds over the past year, and a half (all the Covid weight and most of the baby weight), but best of all is how strong and healthy I feel. My body feels really good, and I feel really good about my habits these days. Finding Body by Emilee was like finding a light at the end of the tunnel, and my sessions with her have been such a bright light in each of my weeks.

She checks in with you and creates a holistic plan catered to your needs. I can't recommend her enough!  I will continue to leverage her further as coach in the future, as her method is aligned to what works for me!
