There is nothing luxury about this location. Staff is rude and to busy with their personal conversations then actually servicing the customer. I have had to call or come out of my room 2x now to have them reset the bed. Specifically this location has gone way down hill. It's also very dirty from the floor to the ceiling. I am not sure what happed to Glo Sun Spa it used t be amazing has gone way downhill. Everytime I go I have an issue. Everytime I am told a manager will call me and not once has that happened. I live in Montgomery so I sometimes visit Markwt Street and sometimes Magnolia. Three weeks ago I went in thy sold me a package they sold me on and told me I was next. I waited 45 minutes to ask when and they said sorry we forgot about you. I had to wait more. The next time I went in they sold me 3 tans then told me the prices went up and it's cheaper to pay for a Month. I was assured a manager would call to fix it the next day. No one called . After I called them they added a free spray tan. I go to Market street they mixed me and another lady up. I have an event so wanted the 4 hour spray. They put me in 7 hours at 4:00 so couldn't shower until 11. They told me I could come back. So I call Magnolia ask to freeze my account due to issues. they tell me a manager will reach out to me and of course they didn't. Magnolia tells me I can come there after explaining everything. I show up at Magnolia for my 4 hour spray and guess what they don't even have one. The girl says Market street isn't connected they don't know what we have. I then explained it was Magnolia I spoke to the day before. So more waisted gas and time because I leave at 5:00 and can't wait 7 hours to shower. It's been just terrible customer service like they would rather eat, talk, or read a book than help you. read more

Best spray tan and service around! Quality machines and great staff. Facility is excellent and high class.

Too bad the spray tan didn't work, and the customer service is terrible. Just paid $45 for a versa spray tan, and it left a white streak all the way down my back and my gluteus Maximus is 70% white while the rest of me is double dark. If you're ok looking like a skunk, this is the place for you! Don't go here unless you have no other option. Tip: If you must go here, and you're ok with very dark. Always request double dark so you can step out between after the second round of sprays and before the 3rd round. Let me explain. You'll have 3 rounds of spray. 1st round-prep spray solution, hit green button, positions are Different than the regular tanning spray. 2nd round is tanning solution (positions are different than prep-I think it was front, right Egyptian, left Egyptian, back). Hopefully it doesn't turn off. Now get out and look in the mirror. If you have a white strip 12 inches wide in the middle of your back side, be sure to fix it in the last round. Spray round 3. If you're able to go during the week, spray tan at salons genesis for a complete custom tan for less than the cost of this versa machine. That's where I normally go. read more

The front desk girl Courtney (hopefully I spelled her name right) is the friendliest, polite, and down to earth person I've ever met in customer service. She's helpful and is always looking out for the customers. Bought the newest lotion which is the best lotion I've ever bought (even better than the lotions I used in the past that were high dollar) makes your skin feel like silk and gets you very dark after 1 use. Britney is also very sweet, super helpful, and informative (could talk to her all day). The salon is clean, the beds are kept up with (they actually change their bulbs unlike Palmbeachtan). Way better prices, along with spa services. Highly recommend. read more

I rushed to get here in time for a spray tan the DAY before fourth of july and still had 10 mins before closing time and got turned away because "they were closed". Been a member here for 5 years and have never been told I couldn't get a spray because it was "closed". A real charmer Miss Mckenzie is. I've been to about 6 glo locations and this is hands down the best. They have great staff, huge building, 2 versa spray booths, hydration station, and lots of products. I hope they get hot yoga, soon! I love their proprietary spray tan formula and the products that go with it. I'm so happy they have the spa services included in an affordable monthly package because doing a hydration stream with aloe before I spray makes a HUGE difference in my skin. One thing I don't like is the hydrafacial promos everywhere. Hydrafacial uses unethical human EGF sources and tests on animals. This place would be better without hydrafacial and the salt room thing- they could put cryo, body wrap, or hot yoga in those barely used rooms. read more

I have tanned a couple of times and done the facial once. Last night I went for a full experience. First, let me say Glo is immaculate. Plus the wide hallways and dark wood give it a Morrocan feel. The service is professional but very friendly. Now, onto the good stuff. 1. Hydration station (20 minutes): This is much like a steam sauna in a bed. It does get up to 48°. However, after I got adjusted after the first 5 minutes I was fine. I got out of the bed feeling like my pores and sinuses had been completely cleared ie I felt detoxed. Very nice. 2. Lumiere Excel/Facial (20 minutes): This facial treatment is an infrared treatment for lines and any other facial issues like acne, under eye bags, hyperpigmentatiom, etc. I've had this treatment twice with their recommended accelerator. After two treatments I haven't noticed a difference but I will make an update after a few more. I will say I have little laugh lines (I'm 41) outside my eyes and I haven't noticed a difference line I normally would after tanning. 3. The Prestige Bronzing bed (6 minutes this visit): This bed will show a pretty bronze glow after one 5 minute use, plus it has a contoured bed so you don't get all of the normal white spots from tanning on a normal bed. In addition to AC and many other options. I haven't tried the wellness bed that is a wrap & have been told can relieve aches and pains or the huge bed that turns you incredibly tan in 5 minutes (not recommended until you have a good base tan). I'll keep you updated. After years of tanning at Darque Tan which I was fairly happy with excluding that 100 of my upgrade dollars went into their pocket after over a year of not tanning but my client number was miraculously retrieved. read more

Miranda helps me all of the time and is so nice! She and all of her co-workers have the best customer service. Anytime I go in, I'm greeted by my name and they know my typical services. It feels so personable. I live closer to another Glo, but I choose this one simply because of the service. It's always clean and the girls go above and beyond to ensure everyone is taken care of, even when they're busy. This place is AMAZING!! I was a first time "spray tan" client and also new to the Woodlands area. The staff (specifically Josh and Dee Dee) were so extremely helpful, professional and very nice!! I love Glo Sun Spa as a company, but I'm not liking this location (6 pines/Market Street) so far. For multiple reasons- mainly the customer service. The first time I ever came, the stand up bed was broken. That was fixed, but this time I came, the hydro station didn't work. Things break when they're frequently used, no biggie. ..It's just the way the manager handled it. She didn't seem to have a lot of knowledge about it, took forever, and she never apologized. I know that sounds silly, but I wasted so much time there. At least acknowledge that. Right after my situation, another woman complained that the spray tan station wasn't drying properly. Is this a daily issue with this location? A few times I've come in, no one said hello, and so many times it's incredibly crowded! If people have to wait so long, at least be friendly. Idk. Nothing huge, just little things that have rubbed me the wrong way. The Cypress location on Spring Cypress and 290, however, is fantastic. This location should take notes. Unfortunately, this is the closest location to me now that I've moved. I will update my review if these issues are fixed. read more

Below was my initial review of Glo, with a 1 star rating but I have altered it today. I believe the customer service was not great over the months I was calling and trying to reach a resolution for my concerns but just now one of the owners, Justin called me to apologize for the way Michelle handled the situation. We have found a solution that I am happy with and I believe Glo feels good with as well. Wow, some of the worst customer service I have experienced in quite some time. After posting a New sign in their spray tanning beds about the importance of wearing nose and eye protection I did further research and decided I no longer felt comfortable with spray tanning because of the health risks. When I asked them to refund the package I had just purchased they put me off to corporate and after 6 months of calling the Six Pines location to no avail I called corporate myself. The owner, Michelle was so incredibly rude. I was astounded. She was angry when she started talking to me and then handed me off to her assistant without so much as a goodbye. I'm astounded. I would think twice about using this company. They clearly aren't concerned about customer safety concerns or simply customer service. read more

Love this Glo location. I worked with Glo at this location and a different location, and this one is the one to go to. The owner / manager, Cristina, is beautiful, nice, extremely helpful and knowledgable. Even though I left the company I will still tan there for years to come! Very excited to renew my membership and get back into one of their amazing tanning beds. The salon is HUGE and absolutely gorgeous. Not to mention it's always spotless. It has everything you could ever want! Hydration station, red light therapy facials, you name it. The versa is to die for, they make their own solution and I have yet to see anyone turn any orange or undesirable color. I hated spray tanning until I tried it at Glo! They also have TWO versa rooms so the wait time is never long. The Luxury Suite -- best tanning bed I've probably ever used. Deep deep dark color that lasts longer since it's a high pressure bed. 99% UVA bronzing rays! A+++ If you're looking for a deep dark long lasting tan, use their upgrade bed called the Shark, and spray afterwards with their Skin Fit performance gel, which Glo also makes themselves. Front desk girl Jordan (ombré hair), had the most disgusting attitude I have seen in customer service to this day. I've been going since close to the end of last year and every encounter I have had with her had been horrible. I can't even get a word in without her asking my first and last name WHILE cutting me off mid sentence. My friend and my step mom have both had this same issue with her and it makes all of us want to spend our money elsewhere because the customer service isn't even worth 1 star. If I could give less I would. I hope changes can be made to the staff and environment so we can start to feel welcome, instead of being worried about being belittled by the employees. read more

I see some of the negative reviews, and I don't get it! I've been to this salon several times in the last couple of months, and I've always been treated so well! The service is always spot on, I feel like I'm getting the most bang for my buck and that the girls working genuinely know their stuff! Having worked in a tanning salon, I know how hard it is when it gets busy. It's a walk in only basis, give them a break people! I am excited for the new Creekside location in my neighborhood. At the same time I will miss the friendly and helpful staff at Six Pines. I have gotten to know each person by name. Like Jaedin, whom I am impressed by how very observant, efficient, and knowledgeable she is. I was a bit overwhelmed after the first quick tour. While doing house-keeping duties, Jaedin noticed I was in the hallway. She asked if she could help. Not only did she answer my questions but gave a concise summary of all the rooms, which was very helpful! As I was leaving at closing time, I asked about InBody scale at the door, she quickly wiped it, set me up, and printed my results. She was also the first person to set me up with water & cold towel for hydration, which I didn't know to ask. And she continues to do without fail. I am very impressed by Jaedin's acute sense of awareness and responsiveness in achieving great customer service! Way to go Jaedin! read more

If i could give 0 stars i would, there is this one girl named Jordan that is so very rude (not the first complaint she has gotten) so are the other young little front desk girls but mainly Jordan and this girl that looks almost identical to her (long brown hair) so rude. They don't greet or say goodbye to members, always have nasty looks on their faces, and a lot of people have been talking about how the Jordan girl has also BEEN STALKING MEMBERS USING THE PERSONAL INFO THEY HAVE GIVEN TO GLO WHICH IS ASTOUNDING THAT MANAGEMENT IS AWARE AND SHE STILL WORKS THERE?! The beds are nice but the girl with the dark blonde hair is very rude and just ruins the experience. She is very rude every time I come in and just sits and talks on her cellphone when checking me in and got an attitude talking to me. Very unprofessional. After an awful experience at the woodlands parkway location, I thought it only fair to provide a review of this location as well. Six Pines is my second most frequent location. The rooms are cleaned very quickly after use and the staff is quite knowledgeable and friendly. They go as far as telling you when the bulbs were changed so you can adjust your tanning time and don't get burned. The manager is frequently there and makes an effort to know your name. The only comment I would make is that this location does not provide wipes in every room. You have to ask at the front desk. This would be an easy fix for the whole customer experience as I look to wipe the excess tanning lotion off my hands after application. Otherwise, if you are in the woodlands, this is the location to visit. read more

I tried. I really wanted to like this place. Both times I tried it out I was completely forgotten about and left in the waiting area for over 45 minutes! This is after I was told it would be a 5 minute wait. I watched people come and go. I would ask why my room wasn't ready...they didn't know I was in line or they were still waiting for the room to be cleaned, or I would be asked which room I was waiting for...they never really seemed to even care if the situation was corrected. I feel like they are only half listening when you talk. Unacceptable. Especially for they prices you pay. I only bought $100 lotion for all the "services" you get.. I mean, you know it only cost the company $5-10 for those lotions? Then they offer ZERO service. Do yourself a favor, research those lotions (you can find much better prices), or buy them at Sally's. And go to a tan or spa place that actually gives a damn. read more

I have been tanning at this location for a few months, and will never return after what just happened to me. I got put into room 2, and while I was there the staff let the comcast workers go into room 1 and work on the ceiling while standing on a ladder. The walls between rooms do not go all the way up to the ceiling, and the guy saw me getting out of the tanning bed and getting dressed. It's rare that I take time to write a review but I have to for Glo, because it's amazing! The staff at all locations are absolutely amazing. They take their time to fully explain everything to you--like features and benefits of each bed--I've never had that anywhere else and I love it! They have an incredible selection of beds. They are all top notch and very 'luxe.' They really take care of you here. Yes, the price is on the higher side, but is 100% worth the price. Negatives: -The staff can never fully explain the beds or services -Usually short staffed, poor customer service -They claim to have newer equipment, however, 99% of the time there is no aromatherapy. I really liked the basic plan that allows me to get tan for a low cost. Love the manager Brittney and the morning crew is always sweet.
