I attended the (one on one) zoom to learn about this service and to get the "free " airline tickets. The reviews I read said the free tickets were a scam and I wanted to see for myself- tickets are tickets, right? (Wrong) The guy said the "free" airline tickets were for anywhere, anytime, you choose the airline,but my oh my! the strings that are attached to them. Pay a "refundable" $150.00 to "hold the reservation", must stay a required length of time, must give two travel dates, 30 days apart, and it isnt their company, it is from a third party) The first 45 minutes, according to the presenter, was for him to learn about me and my travels so they could help me better.Then they "analyze" my info and do their sales presentation. A couple things- most of my questions went unanswered, my "travel agent" didnt know the answers and 4 or 5 times had to reference his co-worker. As far as the service itself, I didnt buy it ,so I cant totally comment on that, but based on the offer and the services provided----people, do you really want to pay around $5,000 (are you kidding me?) for someome to make your travel plans and save you a few dollars here and there? To travel during certain weeks, to certain places? Does this remind you of those shady timeshare deals? I can't say that this company is a scam,but I may need a flashlight, it's seems kind of shady. We purchased Global Concepts' service a few years back, but we only recently had the chance to use it. It may take some time to understand how the service works, so patience is key. The staff is incredibly helpful and provides you with all the information you need and more. We bought our daughter and son-in-law a honeymoon trip, hoping to make it a special one, and we got an excellent deal on both their flight and resort. There was a flight cancellation by the airline some weeks after the booking, which caused us to worry about availability. Fortunately, Shane and Marlena managed to handle the situation beautifully, without any additional cost to us, and even assisted our children with their car rental needs. I told them at the presentation when I bought this that I currently booked my own vacations and they swore that their prices couldn't be beat. Well so UNTRUE!!!! I tried to use them in 2022 to book a vacation out west and everything they sent me was higher than i wanted and when I told them the hotels I was looking at their pricing wasn't any better. It's just sad that more people everyday get scammed by them!! They promised many discounts and travel agency type services and we were basically on our own and the woman who scheduled our cruise kept saying, "I dont' know, I've never been on a cruise". I really had high hopes for this agency after going through the sales pitch. Unfortunately, I have been extremely disappointed with the service and prices I've been quoted. As an experienced traveler, I have been able to find better prices/accommodations on my own after getting quotes from their agents. In addition, upon receiving the "free" airfare vouchers, I found out that it costs $75 to use each one. That is not what I consider to be free. The deals they told me about in the sales pitch seem to be few and far between. I imagine that if I could book a year in advance, some of them might be available, but since I can't always do that, they have been no use to me up to this point. Found out, that all of their promises were lies, they book everything exactly the way every FREE TRAVEL AGENCY does, on sites I booked from myself. I travel a lot about a dozen or so times every year, and go to many special events all the time. I tried to work with the same agents over the years, they all quit! Many, many of them. No wonder. Attended the "free lunch". They were pressuring attendees to buy into their $5000k scam with a promise of two free airline tickets. Those who are older probably take less time to do their due diligence and quickly read up on the company. Went to a lunch seminar at a really good restaurant (Longhorn) with promise of free plane ticket. Listened to spiel for 2 hour sounds great. Great rates to travel anywhere book 4 star hotel for $300 a week. Sounded wonderful. $49.80 a month for silver plan $59.80 a month for gold. (FOR TEN YEARS!!!!!) Can't afford! Got free lunch and plane ticket not so free up to $105 for taxes and fees at time of booking also reservation save the date deposit $150 iteneries of the 2 tickets must be identical, not valid Nov.20 to January 5. Book at least 45 days in advance minimum stay 3 days and 14 nights maximu. Flight schedules at discretion of travel provider who selects departure airport in cities with multiple carriers. read more

They told me this seminar would be an hour to an hour and a half. It was actually 2 and 1/2 hours. I thought it was going to be a group thing but it was a one-on-one thing. It is not worth a free dinner. They want to sell you at the end a membership for 5 or $4,000 just to get a few discounts on traveling. I'm thinking for that price. I can take three or four vacations myself. I told them that I hardly do any traveling and it wouldn't be worth the money but they kept insisting that I sign up even though I told him I was not interested. They seem pretty annoyed with me that I wasn't interested but I literally told them I could not take them off work to travel and even if I could, I'm not paying $5,000 to a company to when I can book my own vacations and find good deals myself. They show you the reviews from the better Business bureau, but they don't bother to show you any reviews from Yelp. The lady that sat with us was very nice, it's all a sales pitch to get your money. We were very excited with all the promises, "2 free airline tickets" (we have not used yet, but was recently told we have to pay to use them and we can't pick the dates which have to be approved by the third party airlines, and "Can you fly to a nearby town instead of the one you want?"... oh my gosh! This company is a joke. I went to the seminar, they explained their different vacation packages, which I was real adamant about the yearly vacation I always take the first weekend in November. The packages include Hot Weeks which are $399 a week and 10%+ discounts on other reservations. I purchased the sampler package for $2980 which consisted of 2 Hot Weeks a year for 10 years. I continued to refer to my yearly vacation in Galveston. The staff just harped on oh yes, there are plenty of places to stay in Galveston. I asked about the cancellation policy and the representatives exact words were " Why would you want to cancel ? " Also with this purchase, I was told it would only cost me $29 a mth to pay off the $2980 ( other packages at $49 $59 etc ). Pay then with your CC then they would get another CC to offer the $29 a mth- which is fraudulent information. It was actually running your credit and obtaining a CC to offer you 18/24 mths of 0% interest then after that term they would use your information again to get another CC to offer you 0% interest - who wants all these lines of credit opened in your name?? On some of the paperwork it mentioned in house financing- not sure where that was. After eating and being there for 2 hours I was ready to go. I thought ok - 3K over 10 years and $399 for my yearly vacation - why not ! No, I would not spend 3K to just save 10% here and there on a few reservations. So I was signing all the paperwork and did not read/see the fine print of 3 day cancellation policy. Ok BUT the Paperwork states, you will receive your log in information within 7-14 days. And that is if you even receive your information. How are you to look into the program and see if it benefits you and your family if you don't receive your log in information within 3 days ? This company misleads you into believing you will be able to book your Hot Week reservation in the town you choose as long as you give a 45 day notice. I tried to book 7 mths in advance the 1st year and 9 mths in advance the 2nd year, No $399 Hot Week available. Availability in nearby town and more expensive places. That is not why I purchased the package. Here I am over a year out still trying to dispute the charge with my CC company because the owner will not refund my money due to non rendered services. I have explained to the owner Shane Bohannon he has not rendered any of the services that were presented and he continues to refuse my refund. He knows his company offers misleading and false information just to get you to buy into their program. I know I should have looked at the reviews on the BBB site and Yelp before making this purchase. read more

This company is very clearly a multilevel marketing scheme. They must sign up more people to pay for those that have already signed up and paid their money. The resort images shown on their web page are not available to you when you would like to travel there, if they are available at all. They are only available at times you don't want to be there, like hurricane season. I recently asked for a week in a certain town and was sent back three hotels which I found on Hotels.com for exactly the same price Global was offering me. !!!!beware, beware, beware!!!! run away from this company as fast as you can! do not, i repeat, do not, do not, do not accept any invitations for a free lunch or free airfare! i don't know what type of scam the owners, shane & jennifer are running but they, along with their reservations/marketing person marlena should be ashamed of themselves! who has time time or the energy to plot, scheme & lie to people for a living? i signed up for a free luncheon & 2 complimentary airline tickets event via instagram. i received a call from marlena on 04/09/022 confirming my interest. i asked what's the catch, hidden fees, disclaimers, etc. she stated there were none. i then asked if this was timeshare & she stated it wasn't she provided dates & times of the events & i selected 04/12/2022, 3pm at the red lobster on s. lindbergh in st louis mo. she sent an email from a generic email address confirming the reservation. i noticed there was no identifying or demographic information for the company. when i inquired about this, she sent me an email from her direct email address with the information. at this stage, the luncheon reservation had already been confirmed. i have email confirmation for that. she then emails me asking for my full first name because she was setting up my airfare reservations. I wasn't comfortable providing my personal information over the phone or email & found it concerning i was even being asked to do so. my concerns grew. i started asking questions about the company because of her sketchy responses. the questions I asked are legal, valid & legitimate, especially if you're asking for my personal information. marlena was agitated about the questions & angry that I wouldn't accept her vague answers. she also ignored a couple of the questions which was added to my growing list of concerns. i added some of the screenshots & can share more if needed. she continued to push for my full first name. i respectfully shared each time i would provide it in person but not over phone or email. she finally said ok, i will reach out to you monday 04/11/22 to confirm. I received an email on 04/11/22 stating the event had been canceled due to them having a covid issue. this sounded sketchy so i called the red lobster & spoke with the general manager, kirk that confirmed the event had not been canceled & the company had reservations for 4/12/22, 4/13/22 & 4/14/22. he further added that he had not spoken to anyone from global concepts about this claim they made to me via email. i asked the general manager for his email, replied to their email & cc'd the general manager on it informing them i was aware the event had not been canceled & that i believe they sent the email in retaliation of me not providing my personal information over the phone or email. marlena replied back and stated the event had not been canceled & that only my reservation had been canceled & it was due to them being short staffed, but now no mention of covid. they literally made up an entire lie because they realized unlike others, i won't be easily duped, hoodwinked or bamboozled. please note, i was patient, respectful, poised, professional & consistent in all of my communication with marlena as evidenced by email documentation. what legitimate business gets angry, retaliates & lies because a consumer is respectfully inquiring about the company. i am so happy my parents raised me to know all that glitters isn't gold. these people need help. you won't profit longterm scamming people. you can fool some of the people some of the time but you can't fool all of the people all of the time. now i understand why they have to come to st. louis from san antonio to seek customers. So just went to this Tuesday afternoon, worst food ever not there fault but very cheap...They say no up front cost and you get a free lunch, 2 airline tickets, for just listening to there pitch. Girl was nice but didn't know much about the company had to keep asking for answers to my questions, and then out right lied about no upfront cost. They want you to put the cost of their services on one of your credit cards as a pending transaction, while you apply for another card or finance option through their lenders. The guy like a balance transfer to an interest free card. Then when your card comes in the mail then you switch it to that one...so now lunch and the airfare would have cost me 5 Thousand dollars...Very expensive lunch, and the tickets are a joke, they tell you can be used anywhere in the United States, just pay the taxes okay no problem...but then lied about those too. When I said I want to think about it well then Hyde appeared they became rude, and confrontational. To this I don't understand when do you pay upfront ever for a service that has never been done...hell even when buying a car you get to test drive it first! Wife and I bought into this scam, unfortunately. We love traveling and everything they told us sounded great. We have had Global Concepts for going on 2 years now and have not used them. As our travel agent, we have requested several options for mini vacations to our typical two- week vacation, it is clear they do not read your email because they send you back options that we did not ask for and they send us Air BnB links to locations, which I could do on my own. Not once have they successfully given us an option remotely close to what we've asked for. Their prices are not cheaper than anyone else. The cruises are almost non existent compared to how they promote them. Their website is horrendous, poorly designed and if that's the best they can do, that is just sad. The service was not at all what was promised in the presentation. The cash back is a minimum amount. I have worked with full service travel agents before; I get more attention and protection from my use of American Express. It was a lengthy presentation with the promise of airline tickets we could not use. I used the service on several cruises and all they did was to make the billing inconvenient. I was also not able to chose my room with them. We have received about $200 from both cruises. At this rate I will never live long enough to get a value out of this. In addition, the second cruise took almost 2 months to get a whopping $70 some odd dollars. After they got paid, they have not contacted us for anything. A regular travel agent is trying to let you know about possible upcoming travel that can save you money. This is not it; save your money and stay away. read more

Responses lack, information is omitted, and they are deceitful. We told them we would be traveling with an infant and without asking us, they booked basic economy tickets.. I noticed it and was told, "your seats are chosen at check in but since you booked as a family they are very good about seating together, never had clients call back and tell me other wise". We arrived at the airport and the airline told us that our daughter was not registered and we're lucky they were able to accommodate us. The seats assigned to us were two middle seats away from each other. I then asked about rental cars several times as I was able to find a pretty good rate through my work. After finally hearing back, they were trying to put me in a smaller car for barely less of a price. We also do not know anyone who has received the "cash back" they promise.
