This time I stopped in for lunch and got the Rueburger and onion rings. Both were excellent! But the best thing I've had here so far is their homemade ranch. I wanted to get a whole plate of onion rings just to keep dipping that ranch.

A few groups came in while we were there and everyone greeted her by name! The donuts were delicious! So fresh, tender and flavorful. Worth every single calorie! In addition to the donuts, they had a counter filled with croissants.. some with sausages, some with Ham & Cheese and there was also a Ham, Cheese & Jalapeño option! They list them as "kolaches" on the menu. They're not the traditional Czech/Slovak style.. but I'm sure they're wonderful! It's definitely worth a stop if you're looking for tasty treats.

The day we went was surprisingly busy because of course it was their 20th anniversary celebrations and we had no idea! Even with it being incredibly busy things came out quickly! I got to try a peach slushy margarita thingy (I forget the cute name) and that was delicious and refreshing! All the food was delicious and well made! My husband really enjoyed the burger and commented how much he liked the meat mix. The server was a delight, and all around it was a good choice to stop by! We will be back next time we're in Kernville!

We stopped in at Dam Korner and they were able to deliver. In that time frame, we were able to order, get our food and enjoy it at a relaxing pace. We were one of the only ones in there so they were super attentive and quick. They have a pretty big menu of options. My colleague is vegetarian but he still had plenty to choose from. This is a big portions kind of spot. Nothing crazy or special but does the job. What's most funny is that we came during the middle of the week during lunch time and the music was bumping. I'd prefer making instant coffee with river water at my campsite and it'll taste better-- without the dose of barista attitude from the older woman making drinks.
