After completing Global Entry application and got temporary approval, making appointment becomes the key step for interview. After waiting about a month I finally got email notification saying appointment became available, I made an 8:40am appointment. Today I tried to beat morning rush hour traffic, got into airport hourly parking lot at 8:37am, went to level 4 with elevator, running across the connecting bridge, then went down one level where I could see Starbucks sign, Global Entry office is next to it. I waited about 5 minutes, interviewed about 5 minutes, took a photo and got out, I was not even got charged for the parking. With my recent experience, I feel government did increase their working efficiency except having to wait for appointment slots available.

After the online application ($100 Fee), an acceptance email, I made my appointment for the screening & fingerprinting. The Customs Agent who did my interview was engaging, went over everything pending my approval & let me know what to expect & do once approved. He basically reaffirmed everything I was asked on the application before taking my fingerprints. With Global Entry you get TSA Precheck in which I already had, yet canceled & now will save $85. The overall process including the appointed time slot took less than 45 minutes. The Enrollment Center is located inside the International Terminal. Parking ran me $3 where the garage is adjacent to the terminal via the sky bridge. The entire staff was professional & helpful.

I had a quick and efficient experience. My appointment time was around 11am. Go read the long reviews (& Google reviews too). Those helped me plan where to park and what to expect. I didn't pay for parking cause I was in & out within 15 mins. Thank you Atl Global Entry Team!

Quick service. Friendly and professional staff. Highly recommended. Parking was a challenge, so leave enough time prior to interview.

Though I am not a resident of Hapeville, I am always in the area so I had to show up and support The park itself is absolutely beautiful. The city has made great use of the space as well as the landscaping is beautiful. The grass is green, the flowers around the fence are colorful and the park presents as a great recreational space as a whole. The National Night Out event was an abundance of family fun. As it kicked off at 4:00pm, it wasn't too hot and there was a nice breeze flowing through. There was a train ride for the kids, a dunking station, and ample games and vendors throughout the park. For the adults, the vendor options were ideal for those looking for employment, as well as those who love to support local and small businesses. Yes! There was something for everyone. As I arrived hungry, (don't judge me), I was excited to see the assortment of food trucks that were in the parking lot. This was truly the perfect makings for a great family day in the park. As a whole, I will definitely be returning to Jess Lucas Y-Teen Park as the ambiance is perfect for a me day with lunch and a good book or even to do a few laps around the track as 6 Laps = 1 Mile according to the sign. LoL! No matter the reason, make sure you check out Jess Lucas Y-Teen Park.

To commemorate my 100th review, I've decided to review the United States Army Reserve…read more First, it is the 100 year anniversary of the Army Reserve. It has been around since WWI, WWII, the Vietnam war, Korean war, Gulf War (Operations Desert Storm and Desert Shield), Bosnia conflict, and Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. In case you didn't know, the Army Reserve is designed as a combat service support organization. That implies that there are no artillery (King of Battle), infantry (Queen of Battle) or other combat units. Of course, if you do your research, there is one infantry battallion in Hawaii kept in the Army Reserve for historical purposes. Combat service support is all the other stuff the Army needs to function. Human resources, information technology, legal, medical, etc. It's all the 'overhead', like in other companies. The United States Army Reserve is currently undergoing a lot of change. If you know about business, it is going from a divisional structure to a matrix structure. Each specialty (military intelligence, medical, legal, military police etc) has its own command as well as an administrative command. For those that live in the Bay Area, a major Army Reserve command (one of four) is moving from Los Alamitos to Mountain View. What does this mean for you? If you eat on Castro Street, you'll be seeing a lot of 'green suiters' in the next couple years. That's just one change. As for my personal experience with the Army Reserve, it has shown me what I do not want to do with my life. Not that I'm knocking the AR, it has made me more responsible, taught me a lot about myself, and gave me a lot of direction and opprotunities i would otherwise not have. It has given me many relationships that I could have never made in the 'civilian world'. For example, my letter's of recommendation for business school were written by a Colonel and one of the VPs of Charles Schwab. Rick Distaso, the lead prosecuter in the Scott Peterson Trial, is in my unit (he counts helmets btw). My new Commander works for the LA City attorney's office and tells stories about Britney Spears and other celebrity jail experiences. I've met about five judges in different counties and many, many special agents. I don't think I'll ever get in trouble with the law. Anyway, however you feel about the war/conflict that is currently going on, or war in general, please realize that the Army as an institution is necessary for this country to exist. We are simply a machine that someone else runs.
