In a meeting with my 2 advisors in the winter, I came up with doing a pop-up dinner which later turned into this gratitude lunch. Megan chimed in telling me she had a China company and would be able to help me out. I was so excited and relieved. She helped me more than I could have ever asked. Not only was she busy with 2 other events that weekend but she's also a college professor (which is how I know her) and a full-time mom!! Megan was so incredible. She definitely did not have to do all that she did. She took time out of each day to answer any emails/texts I sent her way. She brought so many China options. She also taught me to fold napkins to look like roses. Sorry, my thoughts aren't super coherent. I just have so much love, respect, and appreciation for this human. Went through here for my daughter's first birthday party in the beginning of September. This was…read morethe first time I've actually ever needed to rent something on my own and it went pretty smoothly I'd say. Ended up ordering 30 regular brown chairs, and an assortment of 7 tables. They had everything I needed that I found on the website. The lady who I dealt with on the phone was extremely nice and patient with me. My event was for a Saturday and they could only deliver the Friday before because they were busy the day I needed. I was told they'd pick them up the following Monday, but they didn't come until Tuesday. That's obviously not a big deal but if something were to have happened would I have been liable? Lastly, honestly they would have been 5 stars had I not had to spend 48 dollars just for their delivery fee. That's absurd in my opinion. I understand it's probably (I'm hoping) for gas, but that's still crazy.

Honestly would've left if it weren't the manager Charles. He convinced to try it out, and set up some ridiculous games for us to play that made it more entertaining than expected. We played several basic kids games that had us charging into each other and flying in the bubbles. Playing in the dark was actually much harder than expected. The game doesn't hurt much, but definitely did walk away with some bruises on my shins. It was a great workout and definitely was of the more unique fitness experiences I've had. Just be careful of bouncing off the walls, literally.

The guy running the party was very good with the kids, hyping them up and all, and when the pizza was late, from wherever it comes from, he made them popcorn to tide them over. He also let us have a little extra time since there was no one behind us. Most party places kick you out immediately, but they were pretty relaxed and didn't make us feel like "party's over, GTFO!!"

We were very unhappy with the DJ but happy with the Photo Booth set up and staff. My husband and I had DJ Craig for our wedding in September 2023. We had two meetings with him beforehand were we discussed how we would like the night to run. In addition to a list of "must-play" songs (something we were encouraged to complete), we discussed how we would like our table-dash, anniversary dance, alumni photo, and private dance to operate. We also noted on multiple occasions during both calls that we DID NOT want a lot of remixes. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with how DJ Craig managed all of these aspects except for the table dash and private dance. Here is where our issues lie: - Out of our 30 or so must play songs maybe half were played. - As laid out on the Marx Entertainment website we chose a "last song" for the dance floor. DJ Craig played the song we designated as our last song as a way to open the dance floor. - The first 30 minutes were exclusively remixes and bad ones at that. It got to the point where we said something to DJ Craig, and while the music did get better, he still continued to play remixes. Honestly, a Spotify playlist would have been better. - The anniversary dance was something DJ Craig suggested and we loved the idea. However, instead of doing what he had described to us where he starts calling people off the dance floor after some dancing and starting with short time increments, DJ Craig called for anyone married for less than 5 years to leave the dance floor after approximately 20 seconds. People hadn't even REACHED the dance floor to start dancing at that point, including the parents of the groom. Not to mention we are a young couple and that kicked more than half of the people off the dance floor in one sweep. - College alumni photo was announced at a very weird time and very rushed. Just felt awkward - We were immediately asked once the lights turned on to provide a positive video review for DJ Craig. This was extremely uncomfortable and we gave dishonest feedback during it. We would NOT recommend him. Like I said previously, the Photo Booth staff was excellent and we loved the book they made us. We also had no issues with booking or prior communication with Marx. While the set up and logistical execution of the event went well we didn't feel our opinions were considered at all in song selection and that the fun mini-events we had throughout the night went poorly
