All gas brands must meet govt regulations and standards. There is likely little difference between name brand and no name. However, if I had an expensive sports car that I intend to keep forever, then perhaps I would pay for an expensive name brand. But, anybody keeping a regular car for 10 years or less isn't going to notice the difference.

I zoom on the grass and quickly get off at South Oyster Bay rd and see S&S Auto center. It's 7:30 at night, I'm cold and the gas station attendant says to leave the car. The mechanics will look over the car tomorrow. The next day I get a call, the main engine belt broke. It needs a pulley as well, we'll have it ready today and you can pick it up any time. I take a close look and they are all individually wrap cookies. Nothing that I want. I turn to him and stay. Okay thanks and walk away. I barely get into the car and he's knocking on my window. I get out of the car confused. He's says you asked snacks and walk out without buying. I said. What? I left because you don't have what I want. He then orders me to empty out my purse. I'm like are you kidding me. I'm on my way to surgery and was looking for a small gift for my Dr. He still is saying let me see. OMG. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. So I emptied out my entire Louis Vuitton bag on the floor. Telling him every item. Showing him every time. Here's my pee in a bag. My phone to call hubby after surgery. My surgery paperwork. My iPad to watch while I'm in the waiting room. My house key and lipgloss for I can't have any product my skin. The scarf on the head for I can't have a wig for I had lost all my hair due to my first brain aneurysm in Jan 2008. Btw Dr just found a 2nd second aneurysm. Operation on Jan 2024. Then turned my bag upside down shacking it. Then showed him the inside of it. This is crazy. Cashier - Indian man in his late 40's early 50's. 5ft 8. They never came out saying I need all this extra work done. They have given me notice that things are not great and to expect to bring it in for brakes and what not but I find that helpful. Once, I unexpectedly got a couple of flat tires and needed replacing, they got me them the same day and I don't feel like I was over charged. I'm sure if I went to a whole tire center I would have gotten a better deal but I didn't have the opportunity and I don't feel like I was ripped off.

I think it was Sunoco, Shell, this Exxon and another no name gas station. All $2.09. The fill up was $23.00 This station was clean and very well lit. Tonight the traffic was not bad at all, so getting back on to Hillside Ave was super easy. This is not always the case with getting in and out of this station. All of the stations within this block are pretty much the same with the entrance and exiting, this one is a bit dicey because its just in a super bad spot. I have never had any work done at this location so my reviews are totally related to gas prices and convenience.
