Great service and very nice people. You don't get service like this at the big pharmacy chains. Support your local businesses!

This establishment is small and neat, with a strangely sparse amount of product on their shelves. Very strange. I was there for the jab, so I informed the tech of my purpose. I then went to be seated in an area with four other gentlemen there for the same reason. About five minutes in, the tech called one of the men up and informed him that they were unable to administer his Pfizer shot because of "some needle issue". The man was instructed to go to another location somewhere else in Laurel. The three other men were called up - one by one - and told the same thing. Naturally, I went to ask whether this needle issue also impacted me, a Moderna vaccine recipient. Nope, they had it. With much relief that I didn't make a blank trip to Laurel, I got the shot. This entire experience begged the question, why didn't the tech inform the previous four men about the needle issue when they first got there? And since each appointment was scheduled, why wouldn't the pharmacy have called the men to let them know before they drove there?

I was told parking is a bit harder, but parking is obtainable. It was easy to make an appointment for the Covid-19 vaccine at the location, so it was a wonderful blessing. It is located near a Mediterranean market and Famous Kabob and Karahi on the side of side of street of Home Depot. We were able to find all our over-the-counter medical supplies and even a cool refreshing drink in the refrigerator. We will be back for the 2nd vaccine shot. So hopefully we get a chance to know the surrounding shops.

On May 8, 2026, I received a call from Mrs. Armelle checking on my well-being after a recent change in my medication. She explained that she knew I had been taking the medication for about a week and wanted to see how I was doing. During our conversation, I informed her that I was experiencing serious side effects, including dizziness and feeling light-headed. Mrs. Armelle immediately advised me to contact my doctor for further instructions. I am extremely grateful that she took the time to reach out. Her concern and attention to my health may have prevented a much more serious situation. In today's world, this level of kindness, compassion, and dedication to patient care is rare. It meant a great deal to me and reminded me that there are still healthcare professionals who truly care about their patients. We need more pharmacists like Mrs. Armelle. Thank you, Mrs. Armelle, for going above and beyond. Your kindness, professionalism, and genuine concern for your patients make a real difference.

I had one day to do this as I was nearing the deadline for arrivals. Being in the Laurel area I decided to stop here first in hopes of grabbing everything I needed. From the moment I pulled into the parking lot and saw how many vehicles were there and how hard it was to navigate, I should have headed elsewhere. I didn't follow my gut feeling and went inside. It took me a while to browse the shelves to find the appropriate aisle I needed. I did find one medication on the shelf right away. The others were behind the pharmacy counter. I only found this out after going into the aisle that was packed with people waiting to pick up medications to grab the cards for the items I needed. I diligently stood in that line, waiting my turn. This line moved slower than lava approaching the shoreline. I stood there and noticed that the one pharmacy tech had two registers open to deal with the line of customers. Minding my own business, clinching my jaw, listening to the worsening, under-their-breath, comments from the person behind me, I was finally at the register. I handed over the two cards to the lady to grab from behind the counter and waited. She went to the area where they should have been and shouted from there to me that they didn't have it. I had grabbed the store brand card and asked if they had the name brand. Another shout, no. Then they asked me if I wanted something that wasn't even what I was looking for. I politely declined. When the pharmacy tech approached me she again told me they didn't have it. I know, I was here as well as the twenty other customers. She then told me that I could go next door to their competitor to see if they had it. She joked about how they didn't have it and was making light of the fact that I just stood in this line for about a half hour to not receive what I wanted. Her response was something along the lines of, oh well, not my fault. I then said to her, the least you could do is remove the cards from the shelf so people don't stand here in hopes of fulfilling their need to be told it's not available. Simple, and I wouldn't have wasted my time, nearly an hour at that point in this store. Needless to say. I made my way outside with the one item they did have and headed towards their competitor.

At the Harris Teeter located at 14702 Baltimore Avenue in Laurel, Maryland, you won't be able to purchase a Crystal of Breksta, as in writer Emily Kim's second Silk graphic novel, but you will be able to buy fresh oranges, limes, dragonfruit, cherry tomatoes, multicolored Squishmallows, striking flower arrangements and bouquets, cereal, kitchen supplies, and every other type of grocery item you could think of, no imagination required. If you're into chaos and disappointment, this is your pharmacy!…read more I rarely write reviews, but this pharmacy deserves a warning to others. The service here is shockingly poor. Prescriptions are never ready on time, no matter how far in advance they're sent. Expect to wait--either in line or on hold--for an unreasonable amount of time just to be told they've "run out" of your medication or "didn't receive" the prescription, even when you have confirmation that it was sent. The staff is either overwhelmed or uninterested. Communication is vague at best, and downright dismissive at worst. On multiple visits, I've seen people leave frustrated after being told to come back hours later--only to repeat the same cycle. If you rely on timely, accurate prescriptions for your health, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. This place is more of a liability than a convenience. Looking for a place where your prescription will magically vanish into thin air? Where waiting 45 minutes in line earns you nothing but attitude and an empty-handed walk of shame? Congratulations -- you've found it! Every visit here is like a fun little game: Will they have my meds? Will anyone acknowledge me? Will I leave angry? (Spoiler alert: yes to the last one.) The staff seems genuinely confused that people come here expecting service. Calling ahead? Don't bother -- you'll either be on hold until you question your will to live, or told the prescription was "just sent" even though it was sent yesterday. It's almost impressive how consistently unhelpful this place is. Honestly, if my health didn't depend on this, I'd almost admire the commitment to dysfunction.
