    Expired batteries.

Overall I had a pleasant shopping experience here and could find what needed . However when I got home I discovered they had sold me hearing aid batteries that were best by March of 2021? I bought these on November 30, 2024! How is that even possible? I guess I need to learn to watch the things I grab rather than trust the store...

BUYER BEWARE. I understand it's Covid, raining New Year and their busy yet get your ACT honest. No need to be sorry or give an excuse. JUST BE FAIR. I home delivered items that was not in the drop off. On top of it the salmon fillet was less than 1 pounds. We have to drive there after 1 hour of the drop off to use their produce scale in store. We are right less than a pound. Then charged us 1.52 lbs for $$ ? We did not open the package till it was refunded and brought back home( they have/can't take back fresh seafood). Inside is this....stare at the image/price/weight/label. Tell you butcher area this is Salmon Steak and not fillet. Mistake but honest ? Luckily I did not open the package in front of the Customer Service counter that was no one in sight. I have to flag a cashier and was told they are busy ? Am I not a customer that just paid for your mistakes and need service ?...... One more thing. I was told he can't give me credits 'coz the items are not on hand to be rang ? I have to go get them and bring it to him ? Hello.....your standing in the CUSTOMER SERVICE counter ? Visibly upset.....HE END UP DOING IT WITH THRU RECEIPT (OBVIOUSLY CAN THE ITEM NUMBERS ARE THERE PRINTED) was that magic ? Not even a word from him. ( I know that ain't his fault..It's Harris Teeter Manger to train your employees well)..... Will never trust you again..... Store manager I know your off that day New Years DAY...EXPLAIN IF YOUR READING THIS ? Note...I took Salmon Fillet ? back home than going to waste but that ain't a compromise. It's Salmon Steak....that I did not hope to have. Sure you credited me back...what happened to my bag of sugar, frozen corn & bananas ? Ruin our New Year prep for lunch. My guest are staring at you....

If Harris Teeter was a person, I'd give it a hug! I love the fresh produce, the hard to find unique items. They sell a large amount of items for ppl with dietary restrictions. Gluten free, vegan, non dairy etc. They are always fully stocked and someone does a great job of "straight facing" the shelves! I used to work retail in high school . They usually have more than one cashier working and the self check out is always operable. This makes getting in and out of the store a plus! All in all, I love Harris Teeter and oh when they have good sales, they really are on items you would want to buy.

The line for self check out was down the isle

This location is close to where I live , most times I come , the lines are extremely long . They will have self check out and the line is down the isle , and maybe one actual cashier. I came to grab some water and some vegetables, the produce section was less than appetizing . The produce section was not stocked and it looked picked over , like how a store looks when the media announces the approach of a storm , the section was empty .

They're ALWAYS out of everything I frequently buy, or only have little supply. Just one example is organic fruits and veggies, and if they're not out then they're moldy. I asked once about a certain kind of almond milk that I always buy after going to the store 7 days in a row. I asked manager if they stopped carrying it and he went to the back to check and they gave me 1 bottle, guess they just forgot to restock it?? I don't know, but it's ridiculous. Its a shame because it's walking distance from my house, but I've decided to start going to Shoppers instead from now on. That way I don't have to go to multiple grocery stores to just get everything I need. Update: Decided to go back to get a specific tea. Stash special Christmas teas. When I found it the 1st time the stand was by the self checkout near the end of the aisle w/ the teas. Went in there to find it again and had to walk around the entire store to find them. This time they were by the dog food! Why?? Why does this store feel the need to CONSTANTLY move things around?! Do you know how frustrating it is to find items when they keep moving things? The tortilla stand is always in a different place every single time I go in there for example, and there was one time a few mths ago when they completely rearranged all the aisles. This Harris Teeter drives me mad, just please leave things where they are & where they make sense to find Please.

only 4 lanes open right now and all of them r stretched down the aisles. I can't believe they would sit here and watch this instead of opening other lanes. Unbelievable!! They are always busy in the evenings and should b better prepared. Only giving them 2 stars because they have a good selection of food

My experience with the floral department was amazing. The arrangement Anna put together was beautiful, after we had a vague conversation about what I liked/preferred for the arrangement she outdid my expectations. She made it happen flawlessly even despite my shabby description, 10/10 service, and my mom loved the arrangement.

Long lines, high prices. Now I remember why this store isn't in regular rotation. I just want to cash my lottery ticket!

I was lucky to have such a nice cashier get me through the checkout process and I was grateful that she took the time to make sure my needs were met.

I just love this spot. I've been coming here over the years to get my fill of Pennsylvania Dutch…read moretreats, which allows me to get from DC without having to drive all the way to Pennsylvania. This spot has so many wonderful food stands. Upon walking in, you can pick up a cart to explore all of the stands. My kids love this place as much as me since you can find so much variety. Our first stop is the very busy Amish soft pretzel stand. My kids love the standard soft pretzel dipped in melted butter and topped with rock salt. My personal favorite are the stuffed soft pretzels like the pretzels stuffed with roast beef and cooper sharp cheddar. Nothing tastes better! There are also many other stands that offer fresh produce, meats, cheeses and baked goods. I particularly like Bieler's Donuts, the same place you'll find packed lines in Philadelphia right here. It's such a fun place and my kids love it. But most importantly, this is dad's spot!

In the most visually-exciting sequence of Director/Writer Jalmari Helander's 2025 film Sisu: Road…read moreto Revenge, three Soviet Ilyushin II-2 Shturmovik ground-attack planes attempt to bring down the KraZ-214 armored, military-transport truck driven by the hero who single-handedly turned the tide for the Finns in the earlier film and in the sequel, set in 1946. Using his wits, his ingenuity, and unparalleled levels of skill and perseverance, Aatami Korpi, who earns the moniker of "the man who cannot die," escapes not just bombs and machine gun fire but a plane deployed as a missile. And yet, the most moving moment of the film is not found in one of its many arresting action sequences but in a single line of dialogue, spoken by one of six Finnish men, who, along with one teenager and one boy, carrying hatchets, axes, and tools, interrupts the battle-finished Korpi's work on his new home to ask in Finnish, subtitled in English, "We thought you might need some help?" Speechless and shaking with relief and joy, Korpi watches the strangers get to work on his roof, walls, and foundation. That level of kindness, assistance, delight, joy, skill, and service can be seen in every vendor at the Dutch Country Market Thursdays through Saturdays at 9701 Fort Meade Rd in Laurel, MD. Whether it is homemade pretzels, pasta salads, chili, produce, meats, cheeses, popcorn, donuts, or varieties of dark chocolate, candy, or fudge you seek, you will find plenty to whet your appetite. Mind you, most, if not all, of everything contains zero preservatives. Our advice is to buy what you can enjoy soon or share your purchases with company before it's too late.
