Friday nights seem to be the young kids hangout spot. There are cars and kids everywhere; even blocking the gas pumps. I usually get the four piece dark chicken; and sometimes add the soft pretzel if it's not too late (low carbs at night). The chicken was seasoned well and had the right amount of crunch. The potato wedge was a bit soft. I put it in my air fryer for 10 minutes to make it crispy. The workers at the hot bar are awesome. If there is an issue, they'll let you know. They have allowed substitution when they were out of what I ordered. The inside of the store is kept neat. I also want to highlight that Royal Farms has the lowest gas in the area. I was surprised to discover that their gas was 20 cent per gallon less than other nearby gas stations. I will now plan my monthly visit to include my tank fill up too.

Out of the 8 pumps, 3 were inoperable. Their practices here are very shady in gas prices. I've been there where I literally see the prices changing on the electronic board. Like really? The attendant is super dee duper(in my grandson's voice) rude. If you go inside, there's a sign at the window that you can't pay with cash app. They are afraid someone will beat them... get a load of that! If you ever need to stop there, always scan the lot and keep your eyes open. No menu food items are sold here, just snacks.

Call and the owner says he cannot do anything over the phone but to stop by after work and he will refund the over payment. I arrive after work. The owner was not there. The attendant wants to the receipt and see my ID then proceeds to make a copy of it without notifying me or gaining my permission. He then processes a "payout" through the lottery machine. I ask for my receipt and the attendant refuses. He says he needs it and I indicate I also need it for my records. He insisted I cannot have it and then says I could come back later and try to get another refund. I insist I am not leaving until I have a receipt since my account is still only reflecting a $1 hold and not the actual charge. There is now a line and the attendant is causing a scene. I explain he can make a copy and that will suffice so I also have a record of the transaction he obliged and I was on my way. Even on my last gallon only with one mile left in my tank I will NEVER return to this station.

The staff is either overwhelmed or uninterested. Communication is vague at best, and downright dismissive at worst. Unlike next door the parking lot wasn't a mess and it wasn't packed inside with a hoard of people at the pharmacy. I walk to the aisle that would have the cards for the items I needed and headed to the pharmacy counter. Unlike next door, there was no one standing here. Maybe that wasn't a good sign, that this pharmacy doesn't get used as much as the one next door. Or maybe it was a blessing since I just dealt with that mess. Anyways, I walk up to the counter, and am ignored for a good five minutes. I could see if there was a line, but I was literally the only person standing there. The pharmacy tech was busy wiping down under the counter. Completely saw me standing there, and proceeded to wipe down under the counter. When he did finish, he finally acknowledged me. I handed him the card and waited for him to grab the medication I needed. He looks at the card, without turning around, and tells me they don't have it. At that point, I would have gave up, but I was like, yeah, no, turn around. If you didn't want to help me, you could have walked away and let someone else handle me. But don't lie straight to my face when I can see the medication on the top shelf, behind you, facing me. When I told him that in fact they did have it, it was like he was wanting me to argue with him. Instead, I just pointed and said it's right there on the top shelf. Simple transaction it would have been, but you wanted to make it harder on the both of us. I'm not even sure what is going on at this point with these pharmacy chains. But I am not surprised that they are wanting to close up stores in their chain.
