The ok: The veterinarians themselves struggle with listening to their clients, making assumptions, cutting you off and not getting the most accurate idea of what's going on as a result. One vet is better than the other, one is a little bit off her rocker and not enjoyable to deal with. She goes off on tangents and really, really doesn't listen even a little bit, but instead sells you on every flea control ever made over the course of 20 minutes. Guilt trips are her real specialty. The bad: If you want to pay a minimum of $300 to vaccinate your puppy, basics only, here's the spot for you. They charge an office exam every time you bring in the pup just for the booster shots. I would pick somewhere else that doesn't have this rip off policy.

Having taken my 2 oldest (large breed) dogs to professional groomers their entire lives (8,12), I…read morethought I would start my *rescue* puppy (clarified to the groomer) getting groomed as well. I have been to multiple different locations in the collingwood/wasaga beach area as well as in Hanover, but this was by far the worst. My 50 lb husky cross came back still wet and smelling like wet dog (considering how much I paid this was extremely disappointing). Being a puppy and it being her first time it did not come to a surprise to myself that she was nervous during the process - with that being said, I have seen more experienced groomers (who charge less and do a far better job I.e they actually brush the dog) handle nervousness in first timers much more smoothly than my experience here. Charging based off of breed is also the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of, considering she is 50% malamute and the exact same percentage of golden retriever and she is husky. Not to mention she is quite small considering the breeds she is.

We booked an appointment, and were impressed with Kate Cobourn, the owner. Clemson, our dog, went in at 11 and was done at 12:30. Such a short time and our fussy little pooch, who does not let US touch his face or his paws, came out clean, nails trimmed, smelling wonderful and neatly clipped. We are so impressed with Kate's services and the price was awesome! We've gone to Big box business (Pet Smart) and it has been $10 more and 3 hours. He's patient, kind, and truly cares -- not just about the animals, but about the people who love them. Now if you look at my reviews you may notice I have bounced around a fair bit looking for a suitable vet for my little fur babies. Many claim they see "exotics" and don't get me started on the whole term but finding someone who actually knows how to handle a rabbit, now that can be a challenge. I was ready to try driving all the way to Guelph but I noticed the rabbit society had recommended this particular vet, regardless of distance I decided to give it a try. Located in Caledon Ontario with plenty of parking the office is quaint and organized. The staff is extremely pleasant and helpful, I had issues just getting to our first appointment, because of my work I had to reschedule multiple times. But they did so without a hassle, they were understanding and very accommodating. I can tell the place is popular as the phone was constantly ringing and they had a few other people there, one with an adorable little dog the receptionist knew by name. Both the assistant and Dr Lategan were extremely kind to my boy, he can get stressed out easy but they handled him gently and with care. They diagnosed him with conjunctivitis and prescribed an eye drop that his since treated his eye prob which is completely gone now. She offered us options and info to help us better understand the situation and the steps that were available to us. I found the visit affordable as far as vets go and I will be returning
