Gloria & Company excel at what they do, elevating the spa experience to heavenly level. I received a gift certificate for the Gold ritual ($355/5.5 hours) from my husband last Christmas and I used it the very first chance that I could after COVID. First, I would like to say that Gloria & Co. are conscientious about preventing disease transmission. Strict standards ensure that neither clients or staff are coming in ill and staff call in clients one by one to uphold distancing restrictions and comply with all current health advice. This put me at ease, as I felt comforted and protected by their due diligence while also feeling that the process did not at all take away from the experience. I went from one service to the next with very little downtime. I received a 60 minute massage, 60 minute facial, pedicure, manicure, hair and scalp treatment and lunch. All technicians and stylists were amazing. Kristen, Jasenya & my massage therapist (I forgot her name, but she was lovely) were professional, friendly and truly talented at what they do. I almost fell asleep several times because of how relaxing I felt, which for me is no small feat. I was given lunch after my facial and was surprised at how filling it was for what was described as a "healthful lunch," a turkey sandwich, strawberries, hummus and breadsticks & chocolates were washed down with a delicious sparkling mineral water. I enjoyed this lunch in my own private room and I enjoyed the 20 minute downtime. Gloria herself was wonderful and gave me a customized hair treatment. She was just so welcoming and warm. Because I was not able to get a "makeup touch up" because of COVID restrictions, I was provided a gift upon leaving. It was the icing on the cake, as I don't wear much makeup anyway! After all was said and done, I walked out on a cloud, feeling revitalized and refreshed, relaxed and with a smile on my face. I attempted to tip the girls, but apparently it is a non-tipping salon. Instead, I told them I would write them an amazing review. Gloria and Co. are truly exceptional at what they do and give clients a piece of heaven. They gained a lifelong customer in me. I cannot say enough good things about this salon! It is so beautifully decorated with such a personable staff all there to make every client feel like a "Queen" or a "King"! I was immediately impressed with the sanitizing measures the staff employ after working in any area of the salon. My nail technician Destiny has the kind of warm and attentive nature that could make anyone feel so at ease! And the manicure and pedicure she gave me made my tired old hands and feet feel young and beautiful again! I highly recommend both men and women visit this litttle gem for a truly indulgent experience! Hadn't had a haircut in almost a year and was desperate to have one ASAP. I'm not a usual customer here but have occasionally visited in the past for wedding hairstyles, etc. I called and was able to get a next day appointment with Julianna. She was so sweet and friendly and gave me the exact style I asked for. This is a no-tip salon which I am not used to, but even still, the prices are very reasonable. I do not understand the negative comments here since I have only had very positive experiences. I am always greeted promptly and treated very well when I walk in, I never wait too long, the salon is clean, etc. I've been getting my hair cut here for a few years: Holly is amazing, though I've never been disappointed when I had to see other stylists while Holly was on leave. I love the relaxing scalp massage to start and the lip treatment while my conditioner sets. I always leave feeling awesome. Today I went in for my first massage with Jessie: it was just what I needed. I like that the spa building is separate from the salon so it isn't bombarded with the noise of blowdryers etc. Jessie asked me about my goals for the day, listened to my problem areas, was very careful around an injury, and left me feeling very relaxed. The room itself was nicely appointed, definitely not stuffy in any way. I asked for medium-firm pressure, and I got medium to medium-firm. Jessie's not a killer with pressure, but since relaxation and some tension relief were my goals, it was perfect. Plus, as she was working, she really paid attention to the areas I mentioned but also other tight places she encountered that I hadn't noticed until she got to them; she's great with the details. The hand and foot portions were amazing to top it off (it seems like she's done some extra training in reflexology). I'll keep being a loyal customer when it comes to my hair, and will definitely be back for a massage when time and money allow. read more

Made an appointment for my sister and I have to massage on Saturday. Appreciated they were able to get us both in at same time on same day. Shoulda known something was up. The massage therapists Jessie and Morgan are junior. The room was stuffy and smelled like unscented massage oil. Morgan needs a lot more practice and work on technique. No tipping sounds good except at $85 each, that's more than a $65 massage and a 20% tip making it $78. Did not massage entire length of my leg. When I said "That feels good" (twice on different spots), she moved along. Had the girls switch halfway through because I didn't want to have a full 1 hour awful massage. She waxes like no other person I've met! I'm a bit of a baby and she makes a full leg waxing seem fast and virtually painless. I've been going to Gloria and Company for the last six years, and for the last three years, I've booked for a year in advance and have gone every Saturday religiously. In the course of going here, I've easily spent over $10,000 for spa services and products, and was a raving fan until December 23, 2015. On this date, I had unpleasant exchange with their newest receptionist, Sophia. Since I was going every week, Gloria had given me a club price of $30 for a wash and blowdry. At checkout, Sophia argued with me about the price and insisted it was $35. She went back to the stylist who changed it back to $30. I was upset about this exchange and brought it up to Ryan on my next visit. He told Gloria and let me know Gloria would call me over the weekend to discuss. Weekend passes and not a peep from Gloria. I had an appointment this Saturday and Gloria waited till Wednesday to tell me she was increasing my price to $40 for the same service, which was a 35 percent price increase. I was taken back not only by the huge price increase, but also by her unwillingness to think Sophia did anything wrong in her tone to me. According to her, Sophia was simply doing her job, and furthermore Gloria was unwilling to even meet me halfway on a price increase despite my loyalty and dollars I dropped at her salon. She did check to see if Rachel could fit me in, but couldn't on Saturdays. I again tried to get Gloria to even go to $37 for Holly but ignored my request, and the next day I cancelled all appointments at this salon. It's disappointing Gloria does not value long term customers that drop thousands a year at her spa, and didn't even bat an eyelash at losing my business. read more

Horrendous !!! I went in just to have my routes done for my platinum blonde . The stylist Victoria was a Jr. Stylist under the wing of a more seasoned professional. I brought in the toning formula from my former colorist in Austin , Texas and was told they didn't carry Wella products but not to worry. They did my roots once and they were gold not matching the platinum so they did my roots a second time and they were still gold. A lot of apologies went around that if I could come back a third time in 3 days because a 3rd time in the same day would be too much chemical processing in one day. So I return 3 days later this time they say they are using bleach , so in other words they were trying to lift my air to a pale blonde stage with color (my natural color is medium brown ) Victoria proceeds to apply bleach rinse shampoo and when she combs my hair she starts at the root running the comb to the ends breaking so much hair and seeing all the hair in the comb was making me sick. I then say to the senior stylist should I get a deep conditioning treatment which she responds sure if you want, I said what is your professional opinion? She responded yes that would be a could idea. In the mean time the owner Gloria introduces herself and thanks me for coming back and giving them the opportunity for making it right. All this for $120. I couldn't believe it after all this I pay the full price, $40 for lightening $15 for toner and $65 for a conditioning treatment because the salon had damaged my hair. All I went through and not even was the conditioning treatment on the house. Shame on you Gloria and company !!!! read more

My hairdresser had minimal personality and kind of gave me a hard time about not having had my hair cut within the past 6 months, even though I told her I had just moved and had a baby. I cancelled my next appointment that she bullied me into scheduling and went to the "Other local & Co" and had a great experience there. read more

4 years ago I booked a massage for my mom and me for her birthday and was promised we could go side by side in the massage rooms for a duo massage. When we got there we were told that they don't do "couples massages" and they only have one massage therapist that works for them. So I had to wait an hour in the visit room and wait for my mom to be done so I could go in. Needless to say I was pretty angry. Further- the massage therapist talked the entire time to me talking to me about her life. I was so wound up at the end of the massage I vowed to never be back. Then fast forward to January 2016 I got gift certificates for Gloria & Co so I decided to try again and thank goodness I did. I had the best relaxing massage (by Jessie). Best massage I've ever had. So relaxing, sweet relaxing ambience, she paid special attention to areas I asked her to.. The room smelled wonderful and was quiet. I loved it so much I immediately booked another. I had a massage a week later and it was equally wonderful. I never slept so good in my life. I'm so glad I gave Gloria & Co another chance! read more

I've been reading some comments and I'm unsure how anyone could be unhappy with this place. First interaction begins right when you open the door. The guy at the counter is so sweet and caring. The massage from Jessie was awesome I asked her for deep tissue and that's exactly what she gave me. I also asked to focus on my shoulders and she really did and got a ton of knots out. The entire building was adorable and decorated so comfortable and relaxing. Best massage experience ever! read more

I visited today with a friend and had a couples massage with Brittany and Morgan and it was the worst I've had. It seems they were inexperienced and had no idea as to what it was we wanted. Even tho we both asked for more pressure multiple times we still got nothing. I feel like it was a waste of money. For a very long time have been searching for a good stylist that knew how to cut wavy, sometimes frizzy, hair that maximizes the natural curl w/o using products. I finally found her.
