Every weekend we try to hit…read moreup a new local coffee shop, and this morning we happened to be headed to Idlewild and found that Cuties Coffee was mostly on the way. So we stopped there shortly before 11 AM on Labor Day, and the place was absolutely mobbed, with people waiting outside the door to order. The outside was decorated for Halloween with ghosts, which was fun, while the inside felt warm and inviting, albeit crowded. There were also stairs leading to a second floor, which I wasn't able to check out, along with a bunch of tables outside as well. For our coffees this morning, I got a large hot oatmeal cream pie latte while my wife got a large iced spooky Samoa cold brew. The wait before we received our coffees and were on our way was somewhere between 15 and 30 minutes, and it took longer than expected, probably due to poor timing on our part. At least the coffee here was quite good. The coffee flavor itself was strong and shone through, and it definitely tasted fresh roasted. The oatmeal cream flavor was also present, with some oatmeal up front and a marshmallow-like flavor toward the finish. My coffee even came with a small oatmeal cream pie as well. My wife also enjoyed her Samoa cold brew and thought the coconut flavor was really good. Finally, my daughter really enjoyed the cute images on both cups and asked that we save them both. The bottom line for me is that I would stop by here again in the future. While I wasn't a fan of the wait, I did think that both the coffee and flavorings were good here, and I would definitely be interested in trying more.

I've been waiting to try Cuties for the longest time and it was well worth the wait…read more Wonderful and kind service, absolutely delicious drinks with quality to boot, and three floors of space to pick where to sit and relax at. Anything you may have heard about Cuties, for the better, is 100% true. Wonderful place!

They have both a drive-through and the option to walk inside. Both times we ended up walking in, and the inside has a decent amount of seating along with a display case for some baked goods. I believe they also had four people working on both of the days that I was there, and as you might imagine, they do a brisk business. For my coffee on this morning I decided to go with a Paris Toast Latte while my wife went with the Nor'threester Iced. The menu described mine as maple, brown sugar cinnamon, and shortbread, while my wife's was white chocolate, vanilla, and coconut. It took about seven minutes from ordering until we had our coffees and were on our way. My coffee ended up being pretty good as the mix of the three syrups melded well together. It was a touch on the sweeter side, but you could still taste the coffee on the finish, which I appreciated. My wife enjoyed her iced coffee here as well. The bottom line for me is that I would stop by here again in the future. As a matter of fact, I already have, as their coffee and flavors are solid.

Clean bathrooms, just a fun place for everyone. Ask the server their favorite dish and go with it. There was nothing I didn't like here.

A restaurant dedicated to tapas with flavor bombs and hidden gems all throughout the menu!!…read more From the street The Headkeeper looks like an absolute dive. Busy intersection, no windows, and a front door that doesn't work... but don't let that fool you. Entering through the patio entrance, the outdoor seating is an oasis somehow perfectly separated from the busyness just beyond the sidewalk. We opted to sit inside on a humid day.. simple but fitting! The menu is only tapas, but the small plates don't contain small flavors!! We love to split tapas with friends, so we ordered a table load and went all in. We selected: - Street Corn Dip - no notes. Gooey, well seasoned, and plenty of fresh corn! Abundance of chips, more than enough! - Bruschetta Flatbread - every available inch covered in fresh tomato, lacking in the balsamic glaze, but still a fresh, refreshing bite. Honestly, this is a huge tapas, 8 pieces and easily a meal on its own - Headkeeper Toothpicks - THESE ARE THE SHOWSTOPPER!! Clever concept, perfectly executed! Crispy tortilla wraps loaded with chicken, peppers, onions, and gouda. And DOUBLE dips!! - Banh Mi Eggrolls - large tapa with a big eggroll for all four of us. Crammed full of toppings and well seasoned - Balsamic Marinated Grilled Vegetables - great variety, one of each veggie, but a little too much oily sauce (Pro Tip - we cut these up and put them on top of the bruschetta - perfectly paired!!) - Cauliflower - large portion, almost half of a head of cauliflower, dripping with truffle oil, but soooo tender to eat - Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes - only 2, but packed with crab and delicious sweet-chili & coconut-lime sauce! - Lo Mein Bowl - another tapa that could be a full meal, tender beef, but the seasoning was just off for us And of course... DESSERT! Thankful to go on a double date where one from each couple wants to split desserts too. Why not try the best part of the menu too? Vanilla Crème Brulee - a perfect sweet blend of vanilla and custard with a scrumptious layer of brûlée Strawberry Scooter Crunch Cheesecake - decadent swirls of strawberry through the cheesecake and a crisp layer of scooter crunch all over Tell you what! The sauces and pairings show how ingenious this culinary team is... and looking at reviews, the menu rotates and I'll have to try some of the fun items that I've seen from other seasons!
