I've been wearing wigs for medical reasons for a few years and while there are definitely cheaper wigs in the area for maybe $15.00 less the quality of the wigs sold here is far superior. They're human hair blends and the cap construction is excellent. They're very well made with a variety of cuts and styles to choose from. I bought 2 for $45.00 a piece and while that may sound steep I know for the quality that's a bargain. The young man working the front was very helpful and I got the sense that his grandmother the "owner" is very passionate about her product. She also personally cuts each piece so if you need a style modified a bit she's happy to help. I'll be bringing all my business here from now on. read more

Went in to buy a wig today. The salesgirl was so rude. So much 'tude! She wouldn't let me try on a wig and made the comment that trying on wigs was only for people who planned to buy them. My mom was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and decided to shave her head after she started chemo. We originally came here looking for a short, curly hair wig since that was what my mom had before. They have so many wigs to choose from, and even have a nice lady who helps out cancer patients! Bought a wig from here for $85. Great quality of wig, but watch out if you don't know much about wigs they'll rip you off! Had my cousin come here from SF to buy one and she told me they told her wig glue is $50 dollars but she was getting a deal for $30 for a small little nail polish size container.... I have being going to Gloria's for several years but unfortunately that ends today. After reading some of the concerning yelp reviews about Gloria's high hair prices in regards to their synthetic wigs, I came to find out that I have fallen victim to overcharges with almost an 80% markup on items that I purchased. A week ago I purchased 3 synthetic wigs from Gloria's totaling in a whopping amount of 275$. This is extremely overpriced for synthetic wigs, more specifically the wigs that I purchased, especially in a very competitive industry when you can purchase the same wig online for almost 80% cheaper. I looked up each wig online once I got home and none of them cost over the amount of roughly 38$ Dollars. More specifically, I purchased a wig named "MBLF130 Dacia" from Gloria and she charged me 130$ for this wig. When you look this wig up online, it only costs roughly 30$ depending on which website you purchase it from. I purchased from Gloria because I wanted to support local business and I thought this was a business that I could trust. I had no idea through all of the years i've been shopping there, Gloria has been charging me almost 80% more than the actual cost of the wig. On top of that, it's a cash only store WITH tax. The one I wanted to buy that I tried on was supposed to be 100 percent human hair and they charged me $275 for it and I got back to NorCal and seen that they switched it and gave me a blend. I checked the wig brand and retailer and it was only $35. Try to go with someone who speaks Spanish or they might try to take advantage of you not knowing what they are saying. Now I tried to call them and victor said to call a certain number because he said no one knows English there. That's funny because the girl I always see there has spoke perfect english every time. This is a review for the quality of the wig and not the place or the employees. Let me first say the girl who helped me was friendly and helpful. However...The wig that I bought was not worth the price that I paid for ($35). I've gotten better wigs from ebay and those shady ass shopping apps. It was thin AF and it reeked of plastic. It shed just as bad as my cat. I have experience with wigs, it was just as bad as the wig that I tried on at the shop. Oh and the girl said it was heat resistant...NOPE! On the tag it say do not use heat on the wig! Well shame on me for taking someone's word about their merch. So buyer beware. read more

As a cancer patient one of the toughest things for me was losing my hair, but Guera's pelucas makes it fun and affordable for anyone to buy a wig. Their wigs are gorgeous! I usually have an idea in mind of what I'm looking for before I come in and I usually find a look that I'm going for or something really close and Yancy is so friendly and helpful. You have to buy a wig cap to try on the wigs but the woman there is very nice and friendly. I needed to adjust the bangs on my wig and she was able to cut them to fit my face. The wig is great and they had a lot to choose from. The best thing was they were super nice. I've gone to other places and they make faces at you when you ask to try them on.
