I SUED! DO NOT BUY HERE!…read more BUYER BEWARE! In July 2025, during a medical alopecia episode, I went in needing professional guidance and made that clear. Customers are allowed to try on only three wigs before being required to purchase or leave. In hindsight, that was a red flag. I paid $1,500 after being told the wig was "flat iron straight" and would revert to a texture closer to my natural curls once washed. That was not accurate. The hair remained thin and stringy straight regardless of washing. The wig did not match my skin tone, and it was too big. Visible scalp differences in color, knots, and just overall not it. Not it at all, especially for $1500. In attempts to "fix" it, the scalp was burned, my head was burned, and sections of the hair were burned off with hot tools. The wig was altered and never corrected. After multiple visits seeking resolution, I was informed through a store employee that the owner was offering another wig at half off. I did not agree to purchase another wig. The wig was removed by the business with the representation that it would be fixed. It was never returned to me. I was told to come in to meet with the owner. I waited upstairs for over an hour while he was downstairs filming with a celebrity, and he did not meet with or acknowledge me, but just left right after. A store and employee apologized on his behalf. Before filing suit, I attempted to resolve this through texts, phone calls, and letters. One of the letters I even sent certified mail. I received no response, acknowledgment, and because of this no resolution. The owner was served twice by the sheriff, and did not appear in court. On February 19, 2026, the Los Angeles County Superior Court entered judgment in my favor for $6,625 (including costs). This is public record. I would not buy here. There are many stores with great quality wigs at better prices. If you choose to purchase from this business, you have been warned. There are other people who have received judgments. This is not the first time, and it certainly will not be the last.

Making the appointment was easy, and when you arrive you're buzzed in, which creates a really respectful and private environment if that's something you need. The space itself is chic, clean, and welcoming, and they even offer beverages which was a nice touch. Tallie took the time to help me pick out a beautiful wig and then customized it so it truly felt like mine. I was able to get it by the next day, which was amazing, and I left feeling like a completely different person. She also provided a wig holder, travel case, and brush, which made the whole experience feel even more thoughtful and complete. Since then, I've had so many compliments, and people genuinely cannot tell that I'm wearing a wig. It has been such a blessing not to have to worry about my hair and to just have that peace of mind again. The wig is designed in a way where there's no separate wig cap, it's all built in, which makes it feel much more natural and comfortable. I was shocked at how fast I was able to get services due to it being last minute and a tedious hairstyle. My specialist was Kay. She's such an amazing braider, with quick and light hands. She was very efficient and studied exactly what it is that I politely asked for. I loved that. The salon was filled with beautiful black women working their tails off, completing unique designs and styles for their guests! I absolutely LOVED the ambiance and felt completely comfortable. Everyone was getting their hair done, while nice tunes played in the background. It felt so serene. To be taken care of, while getting a deep mint wash, conditioner, and blow dry with such late notice. Yet, I felt like I was right on time. I didn't mind that I had to stay longer because I booked it later. My advice is that you contact RVM early, get a picture of the style you want, ask for their availability, and be on time y'all! Two stand twists are probably the easiest style to do on natural hair. I paid way too much for it and it looked awful. She made the twists different sizes and used a lot of gel to make it look like a knotless weird thing. It was so bad. If she didn't know how to do the style she should have said something.
