The ordering process took about 15 minutes because the system was having issues, but I was patient and told the employee it was fine since I wasn't in a rush. When the food came out, the system completely shut down, so they couldn't process any payments. I handed my card to the employee and told him he could either bring it back once the system was working or I'd settle up at the end. About 25 minutes into our meal, he came to the table, returned my card, and told us, "Your meals are on us tonight," which I thought was a really kind gesture. I even planned to leave a cash tip before leaving. But as my son was finishing his meal, the same employee came back and said, "The systems are back up," and stood there waiting for us to pay. It made things awkward, especially after being told the meal was complimentary due to the inconvenience. I completely understand that things happen and that businesses need to be paid, but the way it was handled came across as unprofessional and confusing.

This KB's Smokehouse is located inside the Norsemen Brewing Company located in North Topeka at 830 N. Kansas Ave. The food is brought into the Norsemen Brewing Company 5 days a week, Tuesday through Saturday. I had the smoked bacon-wrapped meatloaf sandwich and a side of macaroni & cheese. My friends had a pulled pork sandwich with sides of baked beans and french fries. The sandwiches are served with a butter hamburger bun. Everything was good and I would go back in the future, next time I am in North Topeka. The meatloaf sandwich was $9. The pulled pork sandwich was $8 and the sides are $3. Other sandwiches include brisket. KB's Smokehouse is located on the far east side of the building past the big bar if you enter fro Kansas Avenue. You purchase your feed, then get your beverages from the Norsemen Brewing Company and dine there. KB's Smokehouse employees bring you the food. It was difficult to order the day we dined there. KB's Smokehouse did not have a menu, so we all had to gather around the young man who explained what sandwiches and sides were available for purchase that day. As a result the young man had to repeat himself 4 times. When we received our food, there were some errors in the order, but we worked them out easily. My only complaint is that we were told the price of the sandwich, but we were not told that the choice of side was an extra charge. It would have been nice to know that every side is in addition to the price of your sandwich. I recommend to KB's Smokehouse that they purchase a large white or black board that they can display the food that is available that day.

Also, if the order allows two sides, why can't both of them be yams? There seemed to be a policy against getting two of the same side even when the order comes with two sides. We decided to get sauces on the side which I think was a good decision. The sauces were mild at best. None of them was considered spicy. I did not see mango habanero, which has always been my favorite. Our server was great. She was attentive and took care of all our needs. Wings Etc is similar to Buffalo Wild Wings. I like the inside of the restaurant better than Buffalo Wild Wings though. It's more spacious and less busy.

When visiting a week ago, I paid for my and my friends' tab. He had started the tab, but I paid for…read moreus. Upon checking my bank account the next morning, I had a $56.50 charge in addition to my original charge and tip. I called and left a voicemail, and when someone called back they informed me it was a pending authorization, which made no sense since I never started a tab, my card should have only been run for the bill and tip. He assured me it would fall off. While it did, I now have been double charged my original bill amount by 43 Ten and they're not returning my voicemails attempting to correct it with them. I've now had to dispute the double charge with my bank since they won't return my calls. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.

I called their number, someone answered without indicating their business name and then didn't acknowledge me at all so I ended up hanging up. I tried another number which was disconnected, so possibly an old number. I tried calling again after 5 and 10 minutes and each time it would ring and ring and then go to a "you have reached a text mobile number" message. Okay, so maybe they were just busy and couldn't answer their phone? So I asked a friend of mine who was on her way to see me if she would mind doing by to place an order for me. And I gave her the address, from Google maps. She called me when she was at the address and told me there was nothing there. I even tried texting, since the message said it was a text number. I said I was wanting to place an order for pickup and there was no reply, not even to tell me any information like "wrong number", "were actually closed". Is the business closed? Are the hours, phone number, and/or address inaccurate? Is this a food truck? If so, there is nothing on Google or Yelp or their website indicating any of this information, at least not as of Saturday the 29th. I was really bummed out as I was looking forward to trying the food here. It seems to be a cool and delicious restaurant and I think it's important to support small local restaurants, so I try to whenever I can. I was here visiting family for the weekend and I hope whatever is going on is clarified online so this doesn't happen to other willing customers. I am going I can try again when I'm back in town in a couple months.
