I asked for a wash and roller set and the stylist spent about 30-45 minutes just deep cleaning my hair- I have extensions, so this is a big important part for me as a client. Without extensions, I suspect it might be less time, but not much. Product smelled amazing. About 15 minutes involved deep conditioning and detangling. My hair smelled SO GOOD. The stylist then managed to get my waist length hair into rollers- not an easy feat- perfectly and without any slippage. Then she netted it up and I went under the dryer for a while. I do not know how or why this effect is only achieved at Dominican salons, but my hair was evenly coated with some shiny substance that is neither greasy nor heavy. It's late Sunday night, and it's as picture perfect as if I hadn't sweated all day steam mopping and cleaning. I expect it to last the week. I love blowouts, and I love my regular stylist at my regular salon. However, these wash and set results are long-lasting, deep-cleaned PERFECTION. My hair is like silk and every strand is in place. Sleeping, sweating, driving with the window open- nothing has penetrated the layer of magic on my head. I have an event Wednesday night and I can't wait to go back. It is just SO GOOD. The cost for me was on par with salon prices for blowouts without extensions. With extensions salons charge more, so I suspect this salon is slightly lower than average for magical humidity proof glasslike shiny hair. Holy Hair Grail.
