I will not go anywhere else for my hair. I have very long hair and Theresa is absolutely amazing. She has been doing my hair for 14 years, and I refuse to let anyone else touch my hair. Not only is she amazing at what she does but she makes you feel welcome and talks to you as a friend not just a client. The entire staff at Salon Eden are amazing, from the stylists to the receptionists. Loli is great- she does anything she can to meet your needs and get you an appointment that same day if needed. Kane, the head owner is so nice, so personable, and if he doesn't have a client he will just sit and talk with you. Has both male and female clients and is an amazing stylist. Ali and Ana are just as great! The salon in itself is gorgeous, full length mirrors at every station, televisions around the dye bar while you're getting your hair highlighted. THE WORST HAIR SALON EVER. I came for a cut and a highlight and I left with a color that I did not ask for. The result was ok at the moment but the hairdresser made all the decisions for me.. I knew and explained her what I wanted. Two days later, my hair was dry as it was never before, I had to go back to a different hairdresser 2 weeks later when I spend more than 200 dollars for the package. I had not had my hair cut in over a year because of the lock downs so I decided to try Salon Eden, located in the heart of Bay Shore, as I felt we need to support the small businesses along Main Street that have worked so hard these past 20 years to build the town up, and are now struggling to survive. I'm over 60, going gray, had been self coloring my own long hair and wanted Balayage, so there were issues to overcome but these were discussed and well handled. Kane cut and colored my hair assisted by Christina, and as I have never been more pleased with any salon service in my life, I am extremely happy with the results. I feel as if I, and my hair, were treated as an individual project with a creative solution, not like a cookie-cutter quick fix. I went here for a few years, and worked with veronica who always did my hair flawlessly! Another hair salon ruined my hair color and I called salon eden to see if they could get me in ASAP. They were able to get me an appointment the next day. Kevin saved my hair and I will continue to go to Salon Eden because the experience is phenomenal every time! Well after years of trying to find a good salon and stylist I can finally say I found one! My sister has been coming to this salon and recommended her stylist here, Theresa. The salon itself is very nice. It's clean, organized, modern and has a nice updated look. The shampooist did a nice job, I was ready to go to sleep. My stylist Theresa was fantastic. She first sat me down for a consultation as stylists are supposed to do but rarely do. She asked me questions about what I wanted and I showed her two photos that were in the realm of what I was looking for but not exactly, she really grasped what I was trying to go for and managed to nail exactly what I wanted! I went from my long, bulky lack of style to a short , texturized style with side bangs! She did a great job on the texture. She did the blow dry but then took the time and went back in and flat ironed, added the bangs and texture and really took the bulk out of my hair. I have thick, wavy hair and she knew just what to do to help take that bulk out without losing volume so that a short style won't turn into a giant poof! I'm so thrilled to have finally found a stylist as it can really be difficult. I haven't walked out of a salon feeling this happy in years. Everyone was friendly and my appt. was on time I had no problem with that. There is also a parking lot in the back which is great since it's located on a busy main street, you don't have to battle for a parking space. Best of all their prices are affordable. read more

Erin is simply amazing! I was always one of those clients that bounced from place to place for my haircuts, but not anymore. After being recommended by a close friend a few years ago, I have never looked back. The salon is beautiful, staff is courteous, prices are reasonable, and Erin is extremely talented and kind. What more could you ask for? She listens, does EXACTLY what you want, none of that I want a trim and coming out with a bob. Not with Erin, from color to cut, she is impeccable! I used to come to Salon Eden a lot - it's a great location and the stylists, receptionists and assistants are friendly - but after coming here religiously, my hair started to break off and I suffered some extreme damage to my hair. I was never disappointed with my blow outs but I've found a better salon that gives me exactly what I want. I'm grateful for the experience I've had here! If you're looking for an inexpensive salon that delivered on results in the Bay Shore area, definitely check it out! I'd become a regular and I would definitely recommend this salon to someone new - but given my hair and the kind of person that needs to handle my hair - it's just not for me. read more

Love this place! I have very long and very thick curly hair and I find that the prices are good and they offer a lot of different services. I have never been disappointed here. The only reason I gave them 4 instead of a 5 stars is because on the weekends they can be a little behind schedule which can really be a bummer if you have a long service. read more

First time going there today and I have to say Erin was so nice and helpful! My hair has never looked so healthy and shiny

WORST SALON EVER! This is my first ever yelp review BUT I feel that it is necessary to warn other people about this salon. I showed up for my appointment to have my hair highlighted. As soon as I sat down my stylish immediately cut me off when I wanted to show her a picture of the color I would have liked. She chose a color for me and began to work using these odd plastic sheets instead of foil. She was speaking to me about personal life issues that were far from professional. While she was working I was getting the feeling that she was inexperienced. When she finished she left me sitting way pass the timer and then proceeded to have my hair washed. Once in her chair she did a very great blow out while running her fingers through my hair inspecting everything. When I left I was satisfied but up one closer inspection THERE WERE ORANGE LINES IN MY HAIR! You can clearly see where my root was and a prominent line to where the color started. I immediately went back to the salon to demand my money back and surprisingly there was no fight. Like this happens all of the time. How could she let me leave with that mistake?! I would have been completely ok if she owned up to it but instead she saw her mistake, ignored it, and let me leave looking atrocious. I would never ever recommend this book place to anyone read more

Ok, so let me tell you, I spent yeaaars looking for a good hair salon. I visited from the most affordable salons to the trendier places paying ridiculous prices for a trim. Finally a co-worker recommended this place and now im a regular. Salon Eden is conveniently located in the heart of Bayshore's main street, so why not get your hair done and then flaunt it during lunch at some of the eateries around (i've done this). I haven't had a problem with parking as I usually get my appointments on saturday mornings. The salon's decor and feel is fresh and modern. The staff is friendly and they make you feel comfortable, which is rare lately here in LI (for some reason at some places hairdressers give you this attitude, i don't know maybe it's just me). Prices are affordable and the quality of products is good. I'm glad I found a place that offers good service + great ambiance, without the "uptight" feel you get in some of these "trendy" places and their ridiculous prices. I've had my hair cut and styled by Joanne before but always toyed around with wanting a blonde balayage/ombré look, except I was so worried about hair damage or my color looking off. Well, I absolutely LOVE the result. And Joanne understood and really listened to all my concerns. The color looks great in EVERY lighting and I've gotten so many compliments. I saw my dermatologist like months after my color, and she (in that harsh doctors office lighting lol) kept telling me how good my hair looked! I have gone to Joanne when I lived in NYC and she worked in a salon in NYC, and now I'm thrilled that she's in LI (now that I've been living here).
