The highlights: - Moderately STRONG pressure and thorough massage technique common among Asian shops but hard to find among American chain shops. I came in towards the end of the day around 7pm and the pressure was fantastic. - Extremely reasonable prices. A full-body deep tissue was around $40 in December 2025. I live in Chicago and consider massages as a once or twice-a-year luxury, but I legitimately dream about flying back to visit Coco Spa. My NYC friends have visited and can attest to the quality. I cannot say enough good things about this place. If you have any hesitation, let these hard working folks massage it out at Coco Spa!

Not fun and wasn't the best message due to this. I think it is just common sense to have nails cut if your profession is massage. Then when I was leaving I was told my 20% tip was not good enough and I should tip 35%...are you out of your mind????? Her reasoning was "because this is flushing". I think I will be finding a new spot in the neightborhood.

I got a 30 minutes massage on my legs and it felt amazing.

She started with a detailed dry massage and then went in to the oil massage. The dry massage hit the spot, it was the perfect pressure. When she started with the oil massage I was sold. She hit all the correct pressure points and removed all knots. I have a desk job and I run. The pressure was definitely higher on the oil massage but I've had worse and it felt amazing! She focused on my shoulders and lower back both of which I needed the massage for. I didn't even need to tell her, her experience spotted my problem points. I was able to relax although it was very lightly painful. It wasn't like some of the rough massages I've had in the past. I didn't leave the place in pain but left feeling so relaxed. I go every month for a massage and this was literally the best massage of my life. The only caveat is that I wish she had focused on my legs a bit more. The place is very clean, it has rooms, they play light music but you can hear if someone is talking next door. The people are friendly as well! I will recommend this location, I haven't been to the one in Manhattan but I've read not good reviews of that location. I will be back and would like to try out their other services! When I got there they informed me the couple room is not available at the moment and started part of the service in the massage chair room to massage our feet. Then we was able to transition into the couples room for the remaining service. As I was getting my massage I overheard a couple complaining about the same thing, booking a couples massage but having to be split up. They're too busy over booking and not properly accommodating their customers. Massage was great but never again!

Monica was very attentive and caring to help relieve the pain, repeatedly massaged it and put some balm for the kinks. By the end of the one-hour session, the back felt flexible again and my movement had definitely improved. He knew he only massaged for 30 minutes but let me pay for the hour because I was American. So he made more than the $15 tip because he kept the extra between the 30 minute massage and the 60 minutes massage. They took advantage of me because I was American . Body massage is $28/hr and the quality will vary with the masseuse. Don't get me wrong I've never had a bad massage, but there is good and then there is great. Some of the masseuses will incorporate Thai stretching and also walk on your back. It all depends. It helps if the receptionist is in. She is generally the only one who speaks English and if you request these things she can convey your wishes to the masseuse. The receptionist generally starts at 11am and the shop opens at 10am. 3. A TIP of $10 is mandatory for all one hour massages. Just consider it part of the pricing and avoid a headache. 4. You are not here for the atmosphere. If getting a foot massage you're hanging on the first floor with all the other masseuses who are on break, and watching tv or on their phones/pads. Not a big deal if you bring your earphones or don't mind the communal atmosphere but as another reviewer mentioned it can feel like you are in a Chinese family's living room. If getting a body massage you're heading to the basement and thin curtains separating you from your neighbor. It's fine so long as you're not expecting a spa.
