I came in for a 60 minute body massage. I made an online appointment and came in on a Friday evening. They took me in and started on time. Yao Yao was my massuse. She is a sweet older lady. She started with a detailed dry massage and then went in to the oil massage. The dry massage hit the spot, it was the perfect pressure. When she started with the oil massage I was sold. She hit all the correct pressure points and removed all knots. I have a desk job and I run. The pressure was definitely higher on the oil massage but I've had worse and it felt amazing! She focused on my shoulders and lower back both of which I needed the massage for. I didn't even need to tell her, her experience spotted my problem points. I was able to relax although it was very lightly painful. It wasn't like some of the rough massages I've had in the past. I didn't leave the place in pain but left feeling so relaxed. I go every month for a massage and this was literally the best massage of my life. The only caveat is that I wish she had focused on my legs a bit more. The place is very clean, it has rooms, they play light music but you can hear if someone is talking next door. The people are friendly as well! I will recommend this location, I haven't been to the one in Manhattan but I've read not good reviews of that location. I will be back and would like to try out their other services! me and my girlfriend had decided that we wanted to go for massages earlier today so I went on Groupon looking for a couple massages. I found this place and we decided to go not only was it way out from where we live but parking sucks. Whatever we finally make it to our appointment on time we had to wait about 10 to 15 minutes before they would actually speak to us and check us in. The lady asked us if we've ever been there before we said no and it didn't make much of a difference. The massage themselves weren't as bad as experience. They were actually pretty good other than the fact that they did whatever they wanted to do during the 30 minute body and a 30 minute foot messages the end of the experience is what got me. Not only on arrival that I have to pay extra for both me and my girlfriend to have hot stones during our massage, $10 each by the way, they also claim that tip should be no lower than $15. They have a sign that says that and they don't allow people to leave unless you pay higher than $15 in tip for each masseuse. I attempted to pay my masseuse a five dollar tip which realistically I wasn't gonna do anyways but you know out of respect. I'm like I'm gonna give five dollars and he seemed disgusted by my five and refused it. I was utterly appalled and extremely aggravated so I just pulled out a 20 broken down in half and left with a attitude. I feel like they are very unprofessional and money hungry that's my personal opinion though. Everybody else can act as though the end doesn't throw them off, but it threw me. I will never be returning and i made sure to make that extremely clear to the receptionist who was trying to get me to leave a positive review in hopes of $10 off of my next money hungry greedy massage. fuck no. read more

This was my very first time getting a massage with my significant other. Disclaimer: I am a very ticklish and sensitive person, so my tolerance for massages is pretty low. For a first experience, this was pretty good! Some notes about the experience: Pros: - I felt like the person performing my massage went at just about the right intensity; I was slightly squeemish at times but it wasn't unbearable. She went in with both hands and elbows (for deeper pressure) and gave all parts of my body (my backside that is) good attention. The con touches this slightly. - Hot stones and towels are included with the massage, just the right temperature! Cons: - Our massage kept on getting interrupted, which both masseuses apologized for. Regardless, it was slightly annoying. I'll give the benefit of the doubt that perhaps there wasn't enough staff that day. - Out of all the areas massaged, the roughest (which I was not expecting at all) was my head. It felt good at first, but then they went waaaaaaaay too rough, to the point where it feels bruised today. Staff were very kind and friendly. FYI: $15 per hour tip is required for services. My two friends and I tried out this spa for the first time together. We arrived at different times and therefore, started our massage sessions at slightly different times. Based off of my own experience at this spa, I would have given it five stars, but after hearing what happened to one of my friends, I am giving them one star and strongly urge everyone to not support this business. My masseuse's name was Eva, and she was excellent. I chose to do a 30 minute foot massage and a 30 minute body massage. She was very thorough and massaged every part of my body, and I felt great after. She also kept asking me if I was cold because there was an AC unit in my room. She felt that I was a bit cold and turned the AC down without me asking her. She was very friendly and pleasant, and I really enjoyed my massage session. The rooms were very tight but still were clean and orderly. While getting my massage, I even thought about coming back here more frequently because I was happy with the service. After my friends and I finished our massages, my friend told me about her experience when she first arrived. My friend doesn't speak fluent Chinese and therefore used English to communicate with the receptionist. The staff must have thought that my friend didn't understand Chinese at all and started to make fun of her, discussing and laughing amongst each other, "Who is going to massage the fat girl? Who wants her?" My friend, not wanting to ruin our day and spa experience, decided not to say anything and got her massage. It is truly disappointing, hurtful, and unacceptable that this happened to my friend. We all will never be returning to this spa or its other Manhattan location. I am not sure if this lady at the front desk was the owner of the spa or just a staff member (she was the one coordinating all of the appointments and payments), but I highly urge you all not to give business to this place that would speak negatively about a customer right in front of them. I would not recommend this place at all which is a shame because I actually thought my experience with Eva was quite pleasant. When I got there they informed me the couple room is not available at the moment and started part of the service in the massage chair room to massage our feet. Then we was able to transition into the couples room for the remaining service. As I was getting my massage I overheard a couple complaining about the same thing, booking a couples massage but having to be split up. I booked this massage hoping to relax, but instead, I left in pain--and the next day, I'm covered in bruises. The therapist used a lot of pressure, even though I was visibly uncomfortable, grunting and wincing throughout. Also, they enforced a *minimum tip of $15/hour*. I feel bad not leaving a great review because I had a great masseuse. as to why I can't give all 5 (no that it really matters but maybe just as a suggestion not meant to attack the business owner whatsoever) my main complaint was the ambiance. Everybody working there is very loud near people getting a relaxing treatment. The walls situation isn't the best I could literally hear everything next door to the back of the space, maybe because you have a space at the top of the wall? Idk just wasn't relaxing to someone like me and that's totally fine maybe this was the wrong location for me ? I know there is a location now in manhattan and I went to the queens one.
