I have been taking classes here and with these instructors (through an earlier iteration of the studio) for a year now, and I am so happy with my experience overall. Pilates and yoga mat classes tend to have 3-12 people in them, and equipment classes are limited to 3-4, so (and especially if you ask) you will get a lot of personalized attention to your form. You will also get to know people in your classes and, in general, it is a great group of clients, in every category of age and fitness/shape, who will swear right through the hard stuff with you. While most of the clients seem to be women, there are a few men, so guys shouldn't feel out of place at all. Highly recommended, and walkable (right on the trial!) if you live anyplace in between ISU and IWU.

People coming into…read moreclass 5 minutes past the start time and disrupting everyone, as well as leaving during savasana?! People wearing way too much perfume and clangy jewelry during classes. Yoga is often disrupted by simultaneous fitness classes going on in the studio in the next room over that you can hear through the wall. Sometimes there are only 15 minutes between classes and it's hard to maneuver around the people coming/going and you feel really rushed. Please space out your classes better throughout the day. No waiting area so everyone is just crammed in the lobby. Really odd class times and nothing in the morning except for a 6am option... what kind of a yoga doesn't have a 9am option? Some good teachers, some not so great. It's nice during the summer, but when the students are in town it's kinda unbearable. Lavender towels after a hot class are their best feature. Unfortunately there aren't any decent yoga studios in town so this is your best bet.

I booked an Ayurvedic consultation and took two classes in the following week. The Ayurvedic consultation was so informative and insightful. I could tell how well educated and passionate Tara is. She had never met me before and was eerily correct on so many points. I wish I had time for a couple more sessions. The two classes were great also.
