WOW, what an incredible experience from start to finish. I booked a maternity session, but unfortunately, my daughter arrived two months early and I had to cancel it. Would highly recommended 10/10! I did my maternity and newborn pictures and I loved them both. For my maternity shoot the photographer was so helpful in instructing me on how to pose to get the best pictures. I'm Terrible with posing and she made me feel so comfortable and made me feel beautiful. I also chose the package to include my makeup to be done as well. My makeup came out beautiful and just the way I wanted it. The staff is very professional and really do try there best to make you look fabulous. For the Newborn pictures the photographer was soooo patient with my baby and took the most adorable pictures ever. They will now be my go to studio for pictures! read more

I was initially a bit hesitant about whether it would be worth it to spend the time and money to take maternity portraits; a dear friend encouraged me to take the leap, and I am so so glad I decided to and even more delighted that I found Glow Portraits. If you are considering it and can budget for it, let me be the one to encourage you to DO IT. Thank me later :) Communication was superb. Sophie responds very quickly to questions via phone and email from before booking to session prep to post shoot follow up. Anabella, our photographer, was incredible. She made the experience a complete pleasure, and gave very precise directions that made for simply stunning shots. I often feel a bit awkward on camera, but somehow she got both me and my love posing like pros. The makeup artist also did a truly beautiful job. The proofs and finished images are beyond gorgeous. It was so tough to choose our favorites (we ended up buying some extra images because there were too many we loved). I never did maternity portraits with my first pregnancy, and suddenly felt compelled to do them towards the tail end of my second. Sophie was super responsive to my questions leading up to the appointment, and Flor and her assistant were FANTASTIC during my photo session. I wanted to feel like a goddess and do something to savor this incredible phase my body is going through, and they met my expectations and then some. Before I signed up, I was really debating whether it was worth the expense, but I'm so so happy that I did it. I initially wasn't planning to do maternity photos, but changed my mind pretty late into my pregnancy, and am glad that I did! My initial search led me to glow, and coincidentally, a friend also had her maternity shoot with glow the prior year. Hearing about her positive experience with them made me feel very confident in booking. Sophie made the process extremely easy -- she got in touch very quickly after my submitted my request, we finalized a date, and she was very responsive in answering my many questions leading up to the session. I had a great experience for the shoot itself and it was a ton of fun getting glammed up for the first time since my wedding a few years ago. Jessica and Adiee kept me comfortable while doing my makeup (they also put some volume in my hair, even though I didn't opt for the full hair package, which was very nice since I'm terrible at styling my own hair!). Anabella kept the shoot itself fun and provided a ton of guidance on posing for me and my husband. She also kept checking in with me to make sure I liked the way the photos were turning out as we progressed. We had a great time during the shoot, so much so that we booked our newborn shoot with them before we left! The turnaround time for the proofs was very quick, and from there, the final photos were delivered within a week. Even before getting the final photos, I was already in love with the proofs -- I don't know what magic Anabella worked, but as another reviewer said, the photos made us look like we belonged in a magazine. The experience for our newborn shoot was just as seamless and fun. Sophie brought everything needed for our in-home shoot, set everything up, and kept our baby comfortable while taking the photos. The turnaround time for the proofs was extremely quick, and similarly, I was already in love with the proofs when we saw them, which made it even harder to choose our favorites for the final gallery! The final portraits were delivered within a week and we still can't get over how great they look. Taking a newborn anywhere can be difficult as it is so we were apprehensive at first about having photos done. The studio was spotless, inviting, comfortable and had sanitizers everywhere. This place is beyond me! I literally was so stressed the morning of doing my hair and then my nails. I felt so crappy granted I was 7.5/8 months pregnant. I was exhausted and crying I almost cancelled the photoshoot. When I got there Annabella made me feel so comfortable and the hair stylist I forgot her name fixed my mess ups.
