We just had our newborn photo shoot with Julie and the whole experience was wonderful. Her selection of props and color choices were vast and she'll help you come up with the perfect color & set combinations. Our little guy required lots of feeding, burping and bouncing in between each "set." Julie was beyond (and I mean BEYOND) patient and had several tricks up her sleeve to help calm him down as she positioned him for the different photos. The gallery to view the photos was done in a couple of days which allowed us to quickly select the ones we wanted to move forward with. We will definitely be recommending her services to our friends! We worked with her for our newborn photoshoot during covid-times and she thought of everything to make us feel comfortable and prepared to have a smooth photoshoot with our 10 day old newborn. Julie was patient and understanding as our son woke up and needed a feeding during the shoot and also provided many recommendations in advance for how to prepare for a positive session. Her work is incredible too -- the images she took were all so great and she retouched them really well! Initially, I was a bit hesitant to do the shoot with Julie because I thought she only really did newborn photography but I reached out anyway and turns out I couldn't have been more wrong. Also, even though I reached out on very short notice, she was very responsive and accommodating. We were even a bit late to the appointment and she didn't even mention it. Julie is an amazing photographer who knows her stuff, I had a big family (no kids) and she helped us with poses and gave us professional advice that helped our photos come out amazing in the end! So if you're looking to do a family photo shoot, don't be fooled by all the newborn photographs like I almost was, she does a fantastic job with grown-ups as well. She responded less than 24 hours to me. i wanted to get my sons newborn photos done ASAP bc he was nearing 3 weeks old.
