I was recommended this place by a few coworkers. My favourite massage therapist is ill and can no longer work. I booked an appointment with this place and was told to book with Kara. Done. First of all the massage started 15 mins late. She took me to my room and had me wait on the bed for that long before she came back. Within 5 mins of her starting she asks me about me sex life. I was very stunned! She didn't even apologize or backtrack, she was totally serious about it. She then proceeds to share inappropriate things about her own and goes into explicit detail. I really didn't know what to say or do at that point so I froze. I went in for a 45 min massage and came out 80 mins later due to her constantly talking and not tracking time. I even told her I had to leave soon in hopes that she'll speed up but didn't happen. It wasn't until I got off the table that she clued in that I needed to leave. The good thing is that she didn't charge me extra but that's about it. She also did not know how to properly navigate her own computer so tracking insurance took forever too. I am still in utter disbelief with my experience. I have never ever experienced unprofessionalism to this extent. I'd understand a bit better if I were a long term client and friend however, I was a FIRST time client. Sad thing is this is one of the owners. I have spoken to a few people who have been there and have said they aren't surprised and have had similar experiences. I guess she does this normally. A former employee of the business also said they are very unsanitary and do not change the bedding in-between clients or sanitize the place. YUCK! It's a shame because she does seem like a nice person and was good at the massage.

I arrived 15 min. early to fill out a few forms. The reception area was nice, and had some good products available. The seating was on the window ledge, sun shining in, nice. I didn't wait long until Tiffany came to get me. The massage rooms are nice and cozy, quiet & dim, with a great choice of music as well. Tiffany got to work and took care of all those knots and tight areas! Her technique is firm, but relaxing and she has a knack for pinpointing those sore spots you didn't know you had. I'm going to make an effort to come back regularly. My back feels better than it has in a LONG time.

When people take their time and care it makes such a big difference! Another amazing thing is this nail salon he's completely well ventilated there's no harsh chemical smell when you walk in for customers or staff. That's a big deal for me... I know in the past the fumes would just kill me! The pedi was about $50 and was a full hour with all the massage and extra jackhammer work for a guy who works outside and has some callous! Experience was good but not satisfactory. I've noticed that she did not take time in scrubbing my foot while my co-workers are getting their foot scrubbed and callus removed. You noticed that there was not even any flakes on the cloth she used for me because she did scrub them for a minute or less. I was observing how the other ladies are doing my friends' and they were all taking the time to scrub. I haven't had spa for years so there's no way that there's nothing to remove. I did not want to ask or complain as I did not want her to feel humiliated as everyone would hear for sure. It couldn't be possible that she forgot as she should be trained on how to do it and should take time to give an excellent spa experience.
