    Bbq wings and onion rings.

Walked in and there was a weird smell to place. Not too unpleasant but maybe due to older building I ordered the BBQ wings and they onion rings. The wings were spicy hot which i did not order. The onions rings tasted freezer burnt. I may try this place again but not order the same food.

So this is the "large" onion rings you get 8 onion rings, same with fries. I hope Glynn's sees this review and make corrections.

Tiny sized for the large onion rings...same tiny container for the "family size" fries. I hope Glynn's corrects this, it's gonna be a while before I order their again.

    Burger with moldy bun

We got take out and when we got home one of our burger buns had big spots if green mold on the bottom. Super gross, nobody felt safe eating their lunch after that.

    Gravy / Cheese Fries - ????

Burger was small but pretty good. Not dry, so that's a plus. Ordered Gravy Cheese Fries. Can't figure out why there's so much orange grease. I asked to be sure that I wasn't given chili by mistake, but it was confirmed that I had gravy with meat in it. I didn't eat them, as the sight of the grease was enough to let me know that my stomach would not tolerate it well. So that was wasted money. My husband said his plain fries and burger were also pretty good.

    A classic diner.

A hidden gem in a hidden town. You won't find Michelin stars here or that blond weasel from the food channel, but you will get friendly service and fresh-made food. The fries are divine. Hubby lives for the oyster po-boys, I prefer a smaller sandwich like a BLT, in other words they have lunch for every hunger level and budget. Spacious dining room, 20 or so tables. Three televisions, typically set to different channels. Looks like half their business is takeout, so you know it's good when people drive out of their way for a hearty, affordable, high-quality meal.

Great family "drive in" type restaurant without stalls. Order out or dine in. Good shakes & malts. Great BBQ sandwich deals.

It is a strange little place and they don't always get the order correct, I have to admit, we love the burgers.

GET THE ROAST BEEF POBOY! She makes her own roast. It falls apart. Ask for extra gravy on the side and dip. Oh Lawd you'll be glad you did!

I expected more from the club wrap for the price. Wasn't bad but i didn't think it lived up to the reviews and price.

My wife had the Redfish and Shrimp dinner, The Redfish was blackened to perfection and the Shrimp was tender, not overcooked. I had the Prime Rib dinner, and asked for it Blue Rare. It was actually Blue Rare and one of the largest slabs of Prime Rib I have ever had at a restaurant. We both got the cheesecake for dessert and it was superb. We highly recommend Boulevard American Bistro in Covington

Our Server Bailey, was so wonderful! She was helpful? Knowledge and truly the sweetest. We ordered several things, started with the House Salad. It was perfect! The dressing, the freshness of the ingredients, it was a 5 out of 5. We then ordered the Hot Honey Oysters with blue cheese sauce, from the happy hour menu. They were so good! Not too hot and full of flavor. We then had both the House Club Salad- (delicious) and the Tempura Chicken with the Bacon & Onion Potatoes (SO good!). The dishes really were both full of flavor and quality ingredients. We finished off with a Jalapeño Pineapple Mocktail as well as a Lemon Drop. Great ending to our meals. They got it right. All of it! These things, along with the upscale look, and the casual comfortable atmosphere was just that big extra taking it to amazing. We could literally find not one thing to add here as a negative. They got it right! Highly recommended!

We started with the chicken wings with honey barbecue sauce. The wings were cooked perfectly and had a good flavor. Next were the bacon wrapped shrimp and these were one of my favorite items of the night. The hot honey sauce was so good and the presentation made them even better. The cheese pull and sauce dripping down really sealed the deal for me. Easily a 10/10. The brussels sprouts completely surprised me because they were SO good. They were topped with pecans, cranberries, pepper jelly, and parmesan cheese, and all of the toppings worked so well together to elevate the flavor of the brussels sprouts. Perfectly cooked and full of flavor. I've been back just for those alone. 10/10. I also tried the Bayou Mac & Cheese which was creamy, flavorful, and cooked well. My only complaint is that it was topped with tomatoes, which wasn't listed on the menu, so I would've asked for it without them, but no big deal. We also had the Cajun Pasta which was good as well. Everything came out hot & Overall, the service was excellent, everything we had was really enjoyable, and the experience matched the aesthetic of the restaurant. I'd definitely return.

Lumora is…read morerelatively new and is by the same folks responsible for The District in Ponchatoula, which is one of our favs. Located on Highway 190, Lumora has a stylish, contemporary persona that is decidedly upscale, but still possesses a comfortable, laid-back vibe that is quite appealing. Service was friendly and efficient and Taylor took excellent care of us. General Manager Josie dropped by our table to share info on Lumora and her visit was appreciated. There is a full bar and a wide selection of specialty cocktails. Today I had a Blood Orange Mezcal Margarita and my wife had an Ex-Presso Martini. Both were great! I highly recommend the Mezcal spice served up on the Margarita's rim in place of the standard salt. We then enjoyed the Zydeco Eggroll appetizer, which the pepper jelly garnish made truly memorable. I then followed with the Buffalo Chicken Pinsa and my wife had the Hot Honey Pepperoni Pinsa. Both were excellent; hot, pleasantly spicy, and generously portioned. We took home a lot of food. Although we had no room for dessert, several on the menu looked quite sumptuous. In short, Lumora Kitchen and Bar is highly recommended! It's a great spot for lunch, happy hour drinks, or a special date night. We will return.
