The most bland food I've ever tasted in my life. The fact that there are multiple of these somehow is a little insane to me.

More importantly...who makes them that good? They're one of the most creative seafood dishes I've ever had. I'm still mourning the loss of the swordfish filet from the menu because it was one of my favorite dishes anywhere, but even without it, GW Fins remains a mandatory stop every time I'm in New Orleans. If you love seafood, this belongs on your bucket list.

They were fine, but tasted like lobster ravioli in lobster bisque. Ordered the dry aged swordfish chop, which was overcooked but the sides were good. Also got the American snapper, flavorless except for the sauce and rice. The highlight was the side of mushroom risotto, very yummy!! Would definitely get it, and wish I had picked a dish with that instead. Presentation of food was nice, and ambiance was lively. Dress code! Not sure if they enforce it since we had a reservation. Service was really slow, took 20-30 min in between courses, and even to bring the dessert menu. Overall the food and service were ok, a bit of a disappointment for the price point. Probably would skip next time I'm in town.

The restaurant itself is really beautiful, very lux looking. Thos hostess was friendly, greeted us as we walked in and made us feel like she was excited about our arrival. We were seated by the window and she placed a birthday sign by the window, which added an extra special touch. Our server was Jessica and she had an attendant assisting her, darn it I don't remember his name, but they both were great. Very professional, yet friendly. We had the crab cakes as an appetizer. Very flavorful and I appreciated it wasn't full of filling. They also gave us chicken salad on a spoon. I believe it was chicken salad. He said to start the palate. I ordered the lamb, my husband ordered the steak and lobster. He wasn't aware it was a small fried lobster, but he enjoyed it. It was a big piece of steak, 14oz, so he had to take the rest home. It came with a sauce that he really enjoyed. The lamb was melt in your mouth, tasty and savory. Seasoned just right! We also had the Brussel Sprouts which were really delicious. I asked for a mocktail, but it wasn't really something that wowed me because I look for creativity and it was just plain. Taste good, but plain, especially the presentation. I was given dessert for my birthday, creme brulee, which Jessica torched right at the table and I must say, it was also delish. The menus were impressive also. Wait! The bread basket was grand with the different types of bread, fried cheese and garlic bulb. I really enjoyed the pretzel bread the best. The restroom was clean and they have these napkins that feel like cloth, felt dignified

Lobster Mac and Cheese - a little on the salty side 3. Australian Wagyu - was expecting more for the price, I had better steak, but I was eating big 4. Sherbet Ice cream - a great way to cleanse the plate. I would have been okay without it, but I had to get rid of all of the saltiness My total bill ended up being around $140 dollars, plus tip. They had other specials I wanted to try like the surf and turf, but unfortunately the meal would have been way too big for me and I had to have the bill be $120 dollars. The service is excellent, but be prepare to spend over an hour here getting the food. All I can say is just enjoy the view outside. I wish I got the window seat, but I was dining alone and would look weird if I sat at a bigger table. Service was expectational and was well taken care of. I would definitely come back here and dine again, but of course if I had a large dining credit.

The first thing out of her mouth was did we have a reservation, and not in a nice tone either. We looked at each other and my hubby said no. After some review of their list, we were seated by the hostess who looked a bit embarrassed. I asked for a table overlooking the water, but was quickly told no. Okay, fine. The servers were great and attentive. The quality of the food was very good (kudos to the chef). The manager/owner walked around hugging and smoozing with the other patrons, but never came over to our table to ask if everything was satisfactory, etc. We finished our meal, paid the bill, and left. Again, our server was nice and attentive. Would we go back? Nope. Zig Ziglar has always said you should always have your best person on the phone or at the front desk. They're the face of your business and the first person the customer sees or speaks to. They set the tone and impression of a customer visit. She needs some serious customer service training. We felt put off and honestly, not welcome. I'm glad we tried it, but the first impression when we entered left a very negative impact.
