This Place Is a Vibe AND a Lamb Chops Quest I just…read morelovvvvvveeeee shopping here. Everyone that works here is always a delight. I feel like the staff always does a brilliant job of making me feel welcomed and never pressured. Like--I hate those stores where every 5 seconds someone is asking you if you need help (they are probably required to, I have no clue, so no hate there, just a bit much ). Anywhoodles, when I go to this particular Sprouts it's like they have genuine instinctual human spidey-senses on others' needs. They somehow know when you're crushin' it and know where your goods are, and you're on a mission for food! ...vs...they can sense your lostness if you're not a regular, and it's exact location......because it's the first time you bought pine nuts to make homemade pesto and have no idea where the nuts even are, cause who buys nuts on the regular nowadays? ......Or should I be starting back up on my nut intake?... ...that is beside the point, but in my case today, it was the first time I was buying lamb chops for the date night dinner I will be making for the first time in my bakery-scientific journal entry for my wonderful Partner of Interest (yes I said what I said--everyone can get along still, I promise! ), that cooks with love all the time for me. I thought I would try my darnedest to return his generous gifts of filling my ravenous "nom nom" monster belly hunger urges. Wellllll, when the wonderfully kind and caring Meat Extraordinaire, Nick, saw that I was either entranced by all the lovely fresh meats at the counter, or... more than likely, I was lost looking for my prize: THE LAMB CHOPS. When Nick kindly escorted me to the prepackaged meat section, there it was--the sign for Braised Juicy (juicy was not included on the label--rude) Lamb Chops. And there, right above the sign, not one, but TWOOOOOOOO shelves of nothing but black metal--empty. The lambchops... if any were left... NOT A ONE on the shelves! Devastation took my face... and you know what? Nick saw that in my face and genuinely felt for me. He didn't even know how important they were for this date night, but he cared like he knew. I had grabbed two of my fave pistachio muffins from the fresh bakery section (because am I right, my Sprouts Pistachio Muffin people?!). Like, the pistachio Sprouts muffin people know. --pssssssssssttttttttt Sprouts store. Yes you, come here........, could you please take the green dye out of those? They would taste even better that way, and the peeps would love it... just sayin'. Ok and if you are worried people won't think they are pistachio because they aren't green visually, I got you just put a neon green colored sign that says (YES THESE = PISTACHIO)--like someone could handwrite/color it and it would draw your attention and probably sell more... just sayin'... follow me for more Pistachio Muffin Marketing Tips™. Now that we understand how important these muffins are, I grabbed them before obtaining sad visualization as I would need to go to a faraway land where another store that contains said chops would be promised bountiful. BUT ALAS! I had grabbed these muffins with a piece of plastic and of course always do my best not to touch the muffins with any of me in the process of securing that viable, delectable muffin moistness... mmmmm pistachio muffinessssss... But! What was I to do now?! No chops, but muffins that are in a questionable... "what do I do with them now?" look. Like, it can't be sanitary to put them back... or is it? No, it's absolutely not... OR IS IT?? No. It's not. Then I look at Nick like I am Ricky Bobby and "don't know what to do with my hands." And like any logical, caring, non-wasteful and generously understanding human being, he said it was okay to take them. Like it was his little personal apology that he, nor even the store, could predict exactly what the lamb chops sale would have done to their supply... ...or more like... did not know that #1: There would be a sale (which would have been great timing if there were any left!!!), and #2: That this area had a hungering for the lamb choppin'. But in all seriousness, I wanted to share how much I love this store in a fun way, because much like your store, it shows me love in a fun way too. Like when I walk into it each time with ALWAYS wonderful interactions like the great Meat Extraordinaire Nick today--or many others I've had great assistance with or good little uplifting convos. Thanks for all you do, gang. Heart your faces. P.S.-Doesn't hurt to maybe do something nice for them... even if it's something small... could start with chickie nuggies. Make sure to have all types--based off your employees' dietary needs. But I have found chickie nuggies bring people together, as long as you have a LOT of really GOOD quality side dipping sauces. Sometimes raises are great, ya know--just giving you options!
