Pseudo-healthy foods store. (Loads of unhealthy choices on offer, such as sweetened breakfast cereals - but none of the ones you're looking for.) For some reason, Sprouts milk spoils faster than any other brand we've bought. Consistently. We stopped buying it. Their ready-made meals are often quite good. Their sushi is basic grocery store sushi, despite being made in store. Their baked goods is surprisingly spotty. They think donuts are unhealthy, while super-sweet muffins are healthy. Umkay, Sprouts. Even their staff are wildly "spotty" in performance; I've had outstanding help, and I've been completely ignored as if the staff member was stone deaf. Is Sprouts worse than the other, larger, supermarket chains? Nope. Is Sprouts better than them? Also nope. read more

This Sprouts is pretty much the same as all the others, except that parking lot is much smaller and at peak times, you might have to circle around for a few times before you'll find a spot. However, the selection and variety at this location is plentiful and the store is clean and orderly. The self check out register section was open and ready to serve. Its good to have this store in this section of Denver. read more

Anyone who's been to a sprouts knows how great it is. They they have pre-arranged, baked meals that are absolutely fantastic. They are eco-conscious and I love the wide selection of organic products and local products. To me it is worth paying more for. Store has a great variety of mushroom coffees and dietary supplements at a great price.

I love Sprout for their fresh produce. Their butcher type meats can be expensive but are very fresh and so, I don't mind paying a bit more (Whole Food type prices). I don't shop there for much else because they don't carry a lot of name brands more health food brand. The bulk nuts and candies are also nice for filling jars at home or if you don't want a full resealable bag. read more

Sprouts is a personal privacy nightmare. Imagine shopping there with your child and sprouts takes a picture of both of you and says they can use that in their advertising and not pay you one red cent. Don't believe Sprouts would do this? Look at the picture and then the sign on their window next time you visit. I used to do all my grocery shopping here. The produce selection was fantastic, prices were great, and it didn't have an armed security guard hovering over me while I checked out. However- prices continue to rise and the food is constantly rotten or moldy. Cutting into 2 of 3 onions the other day? The insides were brown and mushy. Bringing home raspberries? 1/3 of the inner ones were moldy. Buying a package of basil? It's not condensation on the inside- it's mold! What happened to their quality? You shouldn't charge premium prices and deliver substandard goods. Maybe other sprouts locations are better- but this one seems to have gone to the dogs in the last 6-8 months. Across Sheridan is king soopers, which sucks, but at least they're not pretending to be something stellar. read more

I recently started ordering sandwiches at the deli, since they're $4.99 for a basic and $5.99 for a deluxe. Those prices are unmatched for quality ingredients, making this one of the best hidden gems for a made-to-order sandwich (considering the price is comparable to a frozen microwaveable egg sandwich from Starbucks nextdoor). That being said, don't show up here unless you have 20 minutes to spare, because there is not a lot of urgency going on. Even for a simple sandwich it can take 15 full minutes from the time the order is started to the time it's finished, with no other customers there. Put the order in, go do your shopping for the week, it might be ready when you're done. Overall 3 stars but definitely worth trying. read more

Pretty much the worst service ever at the deli counter - best case scenario it is empty and u are trying to flag down someone to slice your goods. Why does it take 20+ minutes for someone to slice my meat - when there are 5 ppl behind the counter all doing nothing. Also you cannot be content to give your order to the guy - you literally have to sit and babysit him. I consistently find myself buying spoiled goods from this store without realizing until I return home and open the packages or cut into the food. It's annoying to return the items because I live kind of far. Recently I've found that their produce is never good and expired goods are usually still on shelves. I'm not one to often leave negative comments, but felt the need to after my latest experience. I've now had four separate experiences where I've bought seafood (salmon and shrimp) and now the latest was broccoli and within 1 day of purchase have opened it to cook and it's been spoiled. I spoke to a manager about 6 months ago and was given a refund, they apologized etc so I gave them more chances. After this last one it's just not worth it. I hope they can fix this problem because not only is it frustrating to find your meal you had planned to cook is now bad, it's also dangerous and gross to keep rotten fish in an open case with other seafood both raw and cooked. The only thing this place has going for it is the convenience factor. I truly hope a better and more reliable grocery store can come to the Berkeley / West Highlands neighborhood soon. read more

I always want to like Sprouts, especially when I see their ad that arrives each week with their sale items, and sometimes even has a five dollar off coupon. However, their stores are somewhat dark, and cold. They advertise amazing prices on produce and when you go there, you realize why. Most of the fruits and vegetables are on their way out-moldy and mushy, making it hard to find some fruits and vegetables that you really want to bring home. If you aren't cooking with those items today, you will be disappointed during the week, as you will not be able to cook with them. I have even had peppers that have looked ok on the outside, only to find them entirely moldy from the inside. Also, their name is misleading, as they claim to be a farmer's market. However, checking most of the fruits and veggies-most are from Mexico, so definitely not much local produce here. read more

I've shopped here a long time and it's a good store, I really think they have best quality and prices on produce. *** BUT *** ALWAYS CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS. I've been overcharged here so many times and it happened again today hence this review. Sometimes it's a lot (the time I got charged twice for my $9 bag of bulk cashews), today it was a little, got charged for 6 bulbs of garlic instead of the 2 I actually bought. (And I won't even go into the story of the $26 wedge of cheese.) At least I've learned to listen to the little voice that says 'that's more than it should be' and check either as order is being rung up (which can be challenging as I usually bag my own stuff and you're doing the credit card at the same time) or before I leave the store. But it is TIRESOME and ANNOYING and makes me want to skip shopping here altogether. read more

I hadn't had the pleasure of visiting a Sprouts prior to moving back to Denver. Man, I feel like I was missing out! This might be my favorite grocery store ever. If you're like us and eat lots of fresh veggies and fruits, Sprouts is a good place for you to check out. The produce here, in my experience is amazing. We're able to get much higher quality produce than we've found at the local Safeway or the King Soopers, and on top of that, we typically find that it's much, much cheaper. (Note: we aren't meat eaters, so I can't vouch for the selection or quality of meat). In addition to the great produce, Sprouts has a lot of high quality and cheap (cost, not quality) store brand items. We often get there store brand half and half, eggs, tofu, and other goods and have never been disappointed. Additionally, they've got a great ready-made food section (pro-tip: sushi is $5 every Wednesday -- and no, it's not the "old stuff"). If we have one gripe it would probably be that the cheese selection is fairly limited. That said, we've been able to make due, no problem and the pros here far outweigh the con(s). Pro-tip: if you're a frequent shopper here, download the mobile able. There are often pretty awesome coupons (like safe $15 if you spend $75). We've save TONS of money over the last few months just by scanning these coupons upon checkout. read more

Normally I come here on a weekly basis to get my meats. I live in Park Hill and while there are plenty of grocery stores over there I frequent this location because the customer service and my normal butchers are great! However I ran into a new face today at the butchers station and asked for my normal order and automatically he has an attitude. Why? Because he's the only one there and I guess my order irritated him or he was having a bad day. He stated" I'm the only one here today and that's gonna take me a while" umm there was no one waiting behind me!? I asked well how long? He said I dunno (again with an attitude) maybe an hour or longer. This answer made no sense to me so I left. Completely unacceptable. read more

Honestly, this is the main place I go shopping and that's for a few reasons. One, they have lots of produce options. Also great gluten free options. Two, they have almost everything I need and at a reasonable price point. I only have to go elsewhere if I want a wine and cheese night or want some junk food. Three, the staff is pretty great. The checkout people are okay, but the deli people are great. Not only that, but I was recently diagnosed with celiac disease and I was kind of nervous to order some deli meat. They were super busy and I told the guy I have celiac disease and asked if he could please change his gloves. He didn't just change his gloves. He went and washed his hand, got new gloves, got a bucket and washed the machine and so forth. It was amazing. They clearly have a protocol or something down and that's amazing. So thank you. Only down side is I feel like they are CONSTANTLY restocking. While it's good, the sometimes are out of things like coconut milk and dill, but I also feel like I am always navigating around their boxes and carts and them restocking. So it's good and bad. I go on busy times, middle of the day quiet times, and vary the time but they are always restocking. read more

I really don't understand why the hate in these reviews- I always have a very pleasant experience at this Sprouts. Staff is always exceptionally helpful and friendly, I have yet to come across someone who doesn't offer to help me find something or make conversation. I actually prefer to buy meat and produce here as opposed to the nearest King Soopers. Sure it's more on the expensive side, but it's much more reasonably priced than Natural Grocers. If I need something basic in a pinch or want an item that's more on the specialty/organic end, I will for sure go to Sprouts. read more

I like Sprouts for the same reason everyone else does... it's cheap. They will have really great sales, like 3 avocados for $1. I also like to buy steel cut oats and the such in bulk. But my beef with Sprouts is that a LOT of times the produce has gone bad and it's still on the shelf. I don't mean a little soft, but rancid. I went in yesterday and I checked over 10 cartons of strawberries in order to find ONE that was not moldy. The girl next to me gave up after flipping box after box over. They weren't super cheap either, you can definitely find strawberries for $2.50 at King Soopers. I also picked up some mangos one time when they were on sale, I got home and cut into them. All three were brown and rotten to the core, but not mushy when squeezed. So, I don't know what was up with that. I will definitely continue to shop here- but mostly for things like Jordan Almonds and those peanuts with the red bumpy candy coating. read more
