I stop here often as it is the only grocery store between work and home. Everybody is VERY helpful and in a good mood, which you don't always get at other grocery stores. Prices are decent, with lots of sales going on. I really love their produce variety--I ALWAYS find what I am looking for. Their bakery area hits too! Store is clean and inviting. The store closes at 10pm. I arrived at 9:55pm needing an item or two prior to the closing. The manager Megan was extremely rude and insulting. The security guard told me to go shop at Seven Eleven. It is honestly just disappointing that people don't care enough to properly do the job that they were hired for and the blame you when you show up expecting them to do the simple tasks they were hired for. read more

Sprouts used to be affordable, similar to Trader Joe's, but I stopped going there years ago due to the meat and produce spoiling within a couple days after I'd shopped. I went today because I was pressed for time and it was convenient, but not only is the freshness still an issue (I'm talking slimy greens and all), but my groceries cost me literally DOUBLE what they would at any other store aside from Whole Foods. I totally wish I could 1/2 this review. Guy in the meat department was absolutely great in regards to getting me Italian chicken sausage! ***** Definitely five stars for him! Thank you for going above and beyond for me. Other employees working but absolutely no greetings or friendliness what so ever. There was one man however who worked there must have been the manager and he smiled and said hello. Just last night my sister and I were talking about how clean and whole most of the choices are at Sprouts. For me, the meat department is the best. Fairly often, my neighbors will tell me about the great customer service and how perfect the steaks and salmon are that they purchased. No further trimming needed, just straight to cooking. I generally like Sprouts, but there is something really wrong here. I don't know why they are so understaffed, but it has been going on for a while (pre-covid!) and doesn't seem to be getting better. I have been shopping here for a few years. The food goes bad quickly. Most blueberries and raspberries are moldy. Often the avocado pile is hilarious. DO NOT EVER BUY FINGERLING POTATOES. I just stopped after a few beers at cerebral for an evening snack and GUESS WHAT!? 32 flavors of dairy free vegan bullshit and the talenti and gelato boy regulars were SOLD OUT. Dirty, rude employees, fruits and vegetables go bad very quickly from this location. Maybe they buy cheaper leftover produce from their suppliers. I don't know. *Do not* come here for a "quick grocery stop" this place has no dedicated 15 item or less express checkout line. As a result I spent 1min picking up milk and 15 min waiting in line to checkout. I could have also easily completed my checkout in a fraction of the time it took the person ahead of me to load just half the items in their cart, but that wasn't an option. I had a really strange experience here the other morning. I come to this store once in a while. Since the Mississippi store opened I have been frequenting that more, as I find it less crazy with parking, and such. I gave myself 15 min to grab stuff to make a sandwich before work(to put in the fridge at work). It was 8 AM, the store opens at 7 AM. I was headed in a bit early to work as I had a heavier than usual day ahead of me. I go in the store is very quiet. The deli counter has no line. One man is there filling out a form it looks like. I had checked the pre sliced packs of deli meat, and all they had were full pounds. I would've just grabbed one if there had been a 1/2 lb, and this all could have been avoided!!!!!! Not everyone needs a full pound of cold cuts!!! I have been in before work before and sometimes there is a line for the deli sandwich counter, I wouldn't have assumed I could get a 1/4-1/2 lb of a pack of cold cuts in 10 min otherwise! So I go to the counter, and wait. After a min or two a lady says, "do you need deli cuts?" I said "yes". She said "our new policy is you fill out this form first". So I fill out the form. After 5 min she says "we are out of that". So I ask for chicken, another 5 min goes by and I say "I have to go" and pick up an overly large pre made packet. I tell the cashier about my experience with the cranky pants meat counter person, and construction working starts yelling at me many things to the effect of"now you are ruining my day!" he won't shut up! I pretty much tell him this is not his concern, and to mind your own business. I hold my tongue taring apart his inner child, as I know this type of asshole, and they will follow you, and possibly fight you if provoked further. This is crazy town!!!! At this point, I have not only been treated like I am a jerk asking for a thing that they sell(and they are not busy), then I am belittled by a "mansplaining" patron, who believes I, by communicating my frustration with the staff, that I have ruined his day! You know how many controlling people have ruined far more than a day of my life? Too many to count! You have to let stuff roll off, and if you don't like how you are treated by some people don't go back, at least for a while. Anyway I will not be back to a Sprouts cold cuts counter by choice, and will be avoiding this location(Colfax=crazy town). Sprouts seafood is something I AVOID buying at this point unless it is frozen! I have gotten sub par items at all 3 Sprouts in Denver. Sprouts is a decent place to buy meat(non seafood) and a very good place to buy produce. I understand staff have bad days. As I said to the clerk, I have eaten a ton of shit sandwiches in my 20 years of customer service, that doesn't mean I am going to take out my frustration on others. I am in no way angry at the deli person, their behavior however didn't make sense, it was momentarily frustrating, and it seemed like they were taking out their aggression about life on the general public, by making us feel like we are an annoyance. I didn't let this ruin my day. I went to work and laughed about the absurdly behaving humans. I mean the dude at the checkout yelling at me, WTF dude. I can only imagine how grim an existence you live, and how deep your lady hating must go? I hope these nofunnicks learn to loosen up! read more

I shop here exclusively for their rock bottom price produce!! $0.88/lb for Palisade peaches, 6 for $1 Olathe corns are just a few examples!! In addition, they have line drive sales frequent for body care and supplements!! You can find some really good deals on those items! They have an extensive selection of vitamins, protein powders and other supplements. The bulk section is pretty nice too! I especially like the spice section where you can sample different spices for really cheap!! The dairy, meat, and bakery sections have good deals going on all the time. I found some New Zealand lamb for less than $5!! The staff is friendly and helpful. One downside of having amazing deals is that they constantly run out of the sale items, which can be an inconvenience but you can get a rain check for later. read more

Then while that's being prepared go to the oils and vitamins station. Look for echinacea 3 oil. If not on sale get the goldseal and echinacea oil or today I got a super immune booster by the wellness brand called herbal resists liquid. Now go get your panini.
