I didn't feel rushed to get out of the store, or feel like it was a hassle/chore being inside. The workers were in good spirits on vibing with the atmosphere. The bakery and meat market was great. I couldnt ask for a better layout, where some Whole Food locations have the bakery and the breads in separate areas, this one had all breads, tortillas, deli, and meats in one area (PERFECT).

Whole Foods is now transformed into Christmas tree farm for the holiday season. You'll find more…read moreexciting holiday items inside - advent calendars, seasonal Apres ski pour Veuve Clicquot champagne, the hygge game, and more. I've visited this location many times and especially find it festive during the holiday season. AMBIANCE: This location is a standard WF store - spacious and clean. The store is also organized like other WF for convenience. I prefer it to the University Heights location. FOOD: Food selection is excellent and everything looks fresh! I found some items here that aren't available at my frequented University Heights destination. For instance, fresh breads you can pack yourself, plenty more smoked salmon options, liverwurst, chestnuts, and plenty of hot foods. During my last visit I picked up just a few favorites - smoked salmon, rotisserie chicken, baked bread, liverwurst, and some hot foods. I was very pleased with how easy it is to find everything especially later in the day. Typically, hot foods, bread, and rotisserie chicken are hard to find later in the day. The prices at Whole Foods are on the higher end. The ambiance and quality make it well worth it. SERVICE: The service is okay. The employees are selectively nice. Lines are usually long during busy shopping days like weekends. COFFEE SHOP: I've never had coffee inside the Whole Foods until today. I was very sleepy and needed a pick me up, wasn't in the mood to seek out a coffee shop. I was pleasantly surprised with the selection of coffee drinks like lattes and seasonal offerings. I selected drip coffee, which was $2.75 for a large. I was very happy with this cup of coffee - not too acidic, flavorful, and awakening. CHRISTMAS TREES: There are plenty of Christmas trees - $29.99 for table trees, and $69.99 for regular trees. Table trees were not very lush, but many people were purchasing them. There are plenty of choices here so that you don't have to make a journey to a farm or other market. I enjoy my visits to this store. I look forward to stopping in again soon. Next time I'll try seasonal caffeine drinks!

Sunmed - Mixes to add to a glass of water ($2 each) -- Inside 'Your CBD Store' (Lakewood, Ohio location) -- on 9 April 2022

A TON OF PHOTOS ARE ATTACHED BELOW TO THIS REVIEW!!…read more After having brunch at the Root Cafe with 2 friends last weekend (on 9 April 2022), we decided to walk around some stores in the area. This CBD store was right across the street (diagonal) so we decided to stop by. All I knew about CBD prior to visiting this store is that it is very safe and may be beneficial in pain management. I am not a smoker or alcohol drinker and I don't plan to be but I've always been curious about what CBD is so it was interesting stopping in to learn more information. It's no secret that medical marijuana is now being used across the Nation to help patients suffering from different ailments and small dosages of marijuana is now legal in some states for recreational use. WHAT IS CBD? -- Per an information sheet, "Cannabidol or CBD is a compound in Cannabis that has medical effects but does not make people feel "stoned" and actually counters some of the effects of THC. The reduced psychoactivity of CBD-rich Cannabis may make it an appealing treatment option for patients seeking anti-inflammatory, anti-pain, anti-anxiety, and/or anti-spasm effects without disconcerting euphoria or lethargy." INSIDE THE STORE -- Very neat and clean. This is a small store in Lakewood but it does the job of presenting all the products in a proficient manner. PRODUCTS -- They sell plenty of products from topical creams to help reduce body pains, pet products, CBD tinctures (oil-based), Bath-Bombs with hemp extract, THC products, etc. My friend got some samples of chewable gummies. It has THC and CBG in it with no CBD. Of course, THC is what marijuana has in it so I didn't get it. My friend said after taking one sample, she felt "high" (drowsy, laughable, etc). I got 2 topical cream samples (FREE) which you are supposed to apply on your body anywhere you feel pain. It has THC in it. I applied it on my lower back area and it applied smoothly. I didn't feel much of a difference it it reducing my pain though. I then bought 2 small CBD powder mixes ($2 each) called hemp supplement. The point is to mix it with a glass of water. I got the orange mango and cucumber yuzo flavours. So far, I've tried the Orange Mango and diluted it with a glass of water. It tasted alright. I was hoping to taste more of an orango/mango flavour but that was not the case (haha). CBD vs. MARIJUANA -- "Although both are from the same plant species called Cannabis, they are 2 very distinct plants that differ in genetics, cultivation, and chemical process. Hemp is cultivated for many things including: rope, fabric, food, CBD extracts, etc. Marijuana is cultivated to yield high levels of THC. Hemp has very low levels of THC (defined as 0.3% and under) and has no intoxicating properties, where marijuana can contain levels that exceed 20%." So, if you want to stay "HEALTHY NOT HIGH" then stop by this store today. They have organic products as well. **** - 44/150 total reviews in 2022 - 522 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 16 April 2022

I was excited to see the curbside option because I am still wary of going in establishments given the unpredictability with the pandemic. I will say my excitement went down with each leg of the experience and I will tell you why. The first thing I noticed was no prices or ingredients on the menu. I didn't think *too* much of this upfront because I expect a nutrient focused product to be more pricy then say a tea at a local chain. I was bothered by the lack of listed ingredients. I think they rely on the look of their product on instagram. They will post a delicious looking shake, call it half-baked, and rely on your mind wandering to delicious treats by the same name. When I seek something health conscious, the first thing. I look at is the ingredients. I did throw this out the window, though, and decided to try tea anyway because it was a super hot day. I called to place my order, like it says online, and someone answered the phone and said "hello?". No "West Park Nutrition" no "How can I help you?" nothing. This threw me off because I thought I called the wrong number. I said I wanted to place an order and she simply said "text me and I'll get it ready for you". Red flag number two, but I simply attributed this to being more of a young, new school kind of place. I texted my order and then texted the same number when I arrived. For all other curbside experiences I've done in the last few months you notify them when you get there. I got a response after about 5 minutes that said "did you come in? by the way, we don't have one of the flavors you ordered". This is a big red flag number three for me because I would not have ordered if I knew I had to go inside. I assumed curbside and carry out meant that curbside orders were brought out to you. Nevertheless, I went inside to follow through with my order. I adjusted my flavor and worked with the guy behind the counter who was very nice. He was apologetic about the miscommunication between flavors that were in stock and I assured him it was no big deal. He handed over my teas (I ordered 2 large teas) and I found out at check out that my total was almost $20. I will say I can't imagine any other instance where I would pay this much for 2 teas, let alone ones where I didn't know the ingredients. Our teas were tasty enough, but they were almost reminiscent of a pre-work out kind of taste. While those can ne "tasty" for a pre work out, they aren't something I sip on for enjoyment. I drink aloe daily, and that's not the flavor I was picking up. I wanted to love this place, and I may return in the future, but definitely not at this location. It was unclear if you order tea as a pair to a shake, or if they are priced separately. If they come together as a package, I was not advised of that when I ordered or when I said I had never been in before. The whole process was confusing, disjointed, and way over priced in my opinion. If you are looking for a potentially "healthier" option to like a traditional shake, this may be your place. It's hard to say given the lack of ingredients. I would say don't be drawn in by social media and the promise of curbside like I was. Go in, ask questions, and get the information before you go through with an order. I would do that differently knowing what I know now!
