The service at this GNC has always been very good, and the staff are really approachable and competant when you're making your selection and the specifics that go along with it. There has never been a time when I have not been asked if I needed help in the store, even when they are busy. The value is good as well, with the items always stating what they do, when they take effect, and how long they last. Although one thing I will say that this specific store struggles with is time management. Today they had a sign on from their opening hour at 1000 and for 50 minute I and 2 others waited and eventually left because nobody arrived to open which is really frustrating to say the least especially because there is no sign giving an estimate of when they will be back. They've also been inconsistant with when they say they arrive back from breaks as well. This is not a bad store by any means, nor is this a criticism on the quality of service, it's would just be nice to see better accountability with time management.

Not open when hours say it's supposed to be open. Dude inside just looked at me as I tried the lock door around 7 pm.

What's going on at this location? 3rd time in 6 months I've come and they're closed in the middle of the day. It's 12:30 on a Saturday!

If you're an herbalist or a lover of natural medicine this place will have most of what you need. I also adore the staff. They are friendly, genuine, sincere, and helpful. I recently visited Dave's to make a return and to purchase some supplements and unfortunately had a…read morevery disappointing experience with their return policy and customer service that left me feeling treated like a criminal rather than a valued customer. My sister bought several supplements at my request during post partum that came with a promotional offer at a later date. When I decided to return a couple of unopened items (within the return window), I was told I couldn't process the return without also surrendering the promotional offer--even though I was immediately buying additional supplements that more than qualified me for the same promotion again. The staff insisted on the full original card being returned, acting as if I was trying to scam the system by keeping it. The interaction felt accusatory and overly suspicious from the start. Instead of working with me as a repeat customer who was still spending money in the store, they made me feel like I was committing fraud. No flexibility, no common sense applied--just rigid policy enforcement that treated me like I was dishonest. I understand stores need to protect themselves from abuse, but this approach completely lacks basic customer service principles. A simple solution like issuing a new card for my new purchase or verifying eligibility on the spot would have resolved it instantly. Instead, the experience was stressful and left a sour taste. While the product selection and prices might be decent, the way I was handled during this return makes me hesitant to shop here again. Customer service matters just as much as the products on the shelf. In this case, it fell far short.

PLEASE come here rather than buying kratom from a vape shop, gas station or from unvetted online retailers. Many of those products can be dangerous. This is a safe and regulated way to buy kratom. They also sell premade capsules, CBD products, kava, regular juices/drinks, capsule machines/empty capsules and scales. Their product is carefully sourced by the owners, who are deeply involved on every layer, and they strive to provide a good experience. There is zero trace of a sketchy headshop vibe, it reminds me of the top tier dispensaries in California. Their product changed my life, got me to surpass a year sober from alcohol (and still counting!) and I am so glad they've set up shop right here in SLC. They are cash only - they do have an ATM with a minimal fee (25 or 50 cents, I forget) in case you forget to get cash on the way over. If you have any questions, they're happy to answer and offer explanations. I hope they are here for years to come. Thanks for all you do, team Grow!

I shop at this Whole Foods Market almost daily and spend a significant amount here each week…read more My routine is simple: I grab a PATH water and a banana before a workout, then come back after to pick up groceries and a cold sparkling water before heading to work. I specifically go out of my way to this location for Sedona sparkling water--it's that good. I already have other brands at home, but I come here for that one. Today, it wasn't in the cooler. So I took one from the shelf and briefly placed it behind iced tea so it would be cold when I came back after my workout--then checked out and left. While I was checking out, the manager on duty, Steph, was watching me closely. As I was leaving, I saw him holding the drink I had moved. When I asked if that really bothered him, he called it "weird." I asked why it's weird for a customer to want a cold drink, and he repeated it multiple times--calling me "weird" four times and saying, "this isn't your personal refrigerator." Despite being a regular customer, he also claimed he had "never seen me before in his life." The situation escalated to the point where I was escorted out by a police officer. The officer was respectful, but that's beside the point--this never should have escalated at all. I've never been escorted out of a grocery store for wanting a cold drink. Being watched, labeled, and treated as suspicious over something so minor felt wrong, and I can't ignore how it came across. At one point I was told, "this isn't your home." Noted--it's good to know this store doesn't consider itself a place for paying customers from the neighborhood. To make it worse, when I called afterward, the person who answered was laughing about it. This wasn't about policy. It was about how a customer was treated. And it was handled poorly from start to finish.
