All kitchen, bathroom, and bedding supplies were provided. The pool is BIG and there is tons of comfortable pool seating. The game room and other outdoor games were highly entertaining for kids and adults. The outdoor barbecue and community dining area are big and very functional for small or larger groups. The trash is emptied frequently and they supply large bags of ice on demand. I honestly can't wait to return to this little slice of heaven. The sad thing is that the lake is super low for people hoping to boat.

The sunrise over Lake Shasta was gorgeous. The early morning start was perfect for beating the summer heat and the wake from all the water sport boaters. Within 10-15 minutes of being on the water, and poles in for less than 5- we got our first bite. A beautiful rainbow trout! The bite was pretty consistent from there on out- Eric knew the right areas to fish & had all the equipment to get us to the depths we needed to be at. His set up on the boat is very dialed in & even with two or 3 fish on at once, he makes it easy. By lunch our family had already caught 30+ fish. We threw back a bunch of spotted bass and lost a number of large trout. At the end of the day, we went home with 26 trout (rainbow and browns) and 4 keeper sized bass. Eric kept the fun going, was enjoyable to be around and made the process so simple on us. He's even willing to help process the catch at the end of the day. 10/10 stars for Eric and his guiding service. We'd recommend a day on the lake with him to just about anyone we know- avid fisherman and newbies alike. Thanks for everything Eric!

Starting with booking, their team on the phones are always very helpful, even when dealing with thousands of people calling them for booking on the busy memorial weekend. I had to call back a few times to ask clarifying questions and was always treated with the utmost respect and never made to feel like i was dumb for asking. Upon arriving, the QuadSquad will assist you with loading your houseboat and make the start to your vacation as easy as possible. It is truly A+ service of which the likes is not found at other resorts that are not Jones Valley or Silverthorn. The boats themselves are always a great time as well. I have booked the Odyssey the last two years and it is amazing. Very easy for our captains to drive, stable on the water, easy to manoeuvre, and has a great interior. The grill on the front deck and the kitchen make it so any meal you want can be cooked just like at home, but with the views and fun of being on lake shasta. The hot tubs are also always a pleasure when the sun goes down. I also personally want to thank the Jones Valley manager, Ryan. He is a very good listener and is very understanding to the experiences of his guests. I hope Ryan saves me two Odysseys for Memorial weekend 2027, because myself and my friends will not be going unless we can launch out of Jones Valley Resort. Thank you Ryan!

First of all, their staff is so kind, well organized, and is very clear about ensuring that you have a super fun and safe time when you are on the lake. Considering how busy it can get during this time of year, they are always willing to help out where you need it, and make you feel incredibly welcomed. This is always the first marina I recommend to friends heading to Shasta for the first time. Even when mistakes happen on the lake (damages, or issues with boats, etc), they're always kind and willing to come out to help.

Most of the staff are busy working on winter repairs of the facility, so if you need someone, call first. Noone will ever answer the phone, so just leave a message. They are responsive. I rented PWC SeaDoo's. They were newer and in good condition. Expensive, but worth it. They are not good communicators, but nice friendly people. Expect to take an hour to rent anything, and another hour to return and process paperwork. It's the only game in town, on the north end of the Sacramento arm, of Shasta Lake. Overall, the marina and docks were in good condition. They have gas too.

The jetski ran great but EXTREMELY over priced and disappointed by the lack of communication or warning.

My family and I have been renting jet skis around the globe for years, and not once did anyone perform a post-use inspection. I have no problem with them performing a post-use inspection, but if you are going to do that, you need to also do a pre-use inspection in front of us. We were on the lake, away from debris and the shore, yet she said the jet ski sucked up something and was damaged. We were charged an additional fee for parts and labor for repairs. The thing is, if you didn't perform a pre-use inspection in front of the customer, how do we know this isn't previous damage? Do they do this to all unsuspecting customers? Who knows. Lesson learned for next time.

Went on a five day trip this past weekend on a Mirage houseboat. Had a packed house of 14 people…read more What we loved about the boat was that we all had private quarters. It was 111 degrees when we arrived, the heat slowly dissipated as the days wore on, but the AC kept us cool, even in the two loft bedrooms. The only mechanical issue we encountered was the lake water pressure, but the techs easily fixed it. The marina store had snack items (mainly ice cream treats for us) at fair prices. Our boat was fully equipped with an array of cookware and entertaining pieces, Pottery Barn dishes and quality kitchen gadgets-- even a Pampered Chef garlic press. Our hot tub was clean and fully functional. The staff was professional- Every one of them that we interacted with. I highly recommend this company!

Tons of folks with boating equipment and stuff to hang out by the lake front and relax, fish, or have a picnic. The trail itself is a loop and you can turn around at any point. Not terribly strenuous and almost all flat - great for little ones/carrying a baby. There is a developed camp and a beach on the other side of the lake. If you're interested in a little bit more seclusion, there is plenty of space to spread out and relax, looking up at the base of Mt Shasha!

So we went to cable beach and got off and walked around and went to the lake to skip rocks and hang out as we unfortunately forgot our bathing suits. The view was so incredible, and perfect I couldn't even believe the how breathtaking it was at sunset . We skipped many rocks and even made it into a competition which I won, then I went off and found a great stump to take pictures on and unfortunately I slipped and fell on the rocks. Caution! Many rocks here so take water shoes or something with a thick bottom! Although it was pretty funny I'm still hurting haha. We saw boats on the lake and some people off to the side having a picnic and taking a dip in the lovely, warm water. All in all this was an incredible place to stop by and visit! First, they wouldn't sell me a $5 parking pass unless I knew someone who rented a boat, so luckily the last name I used "Hanson" worked. They asked "Scott Hanson?" and I'm like, yeah, sure. Second, parking was full (as one might expect on the Saturday before Memorial Day at 4pm), so we had to park in an overflow lot. This meant getting an escort to the lot and a shuttle back to the harbor AND it meant having to estimate a specific time to come back, which is hard when you're depending on a bunch of party boat people for the ride back (I'm looking at you, Scott Hanson. Still, though I had to go through some hassles, the three guys who helped us, including Joe and Hamilton (who are just Frank and Reynolds shy a yacht rock band) were super friendly and helpful.
