She wasn't pushy at all and didn't upsell me anything - just gave me all the tips and info. We decided on a tandem snowmobile for an hour with a guide. We arrived 20 minutes late but she was so professional - she shortened and made the check in process so easy. There was a cabin with fire where you can change since Deer Mountain was quite cold and was snowing that day desolate the snow drought. She was mega attentive and taught us everything and told us exactly where we were going. She took couple of pictures for us and explained what we'll see had it not been so foggy. On the way back when we stopped at a viewpoint my boyfriend accidentally accelerated and we toppled right where the cliff started - Michele rushed over and helped us up and we genuinely concerned for our well being. We're so grateful she was our guide and can't recommend her enough. She's an amazing person with a beautiful smile and we definitely suggest everyone go snowmobile with her, especially first timers!

Shortly after we began our setup a gentleman came down the hill in a golf cart. He circled around the boat and asked, "Are you guys going to be here long?" We replied with a friendly no. The next thing you know this gentleman introduced himself as Bob and began telling us about the fish. Bob gave my cousin and I so much detailed information our brains almost exploded. Bob then let it be known he is a guide on Shasta and has many years on Shasta and other lakes. Bob's friendly demeanor and willingness to provide so much information to non paying people was so amazing. He was not trying to sell us a guided trip. He didn't tell us to get off his lake. Went on a five day trip this past weekend on a Mirage houseboat. Had a packed house of 14 people…read more What we loved about the boat was that we all had private quarters. It was 111 degrees when we arrived, the heat slowly dissipated as the days wore on, but the AC kept us cool, even in the two loft bedrooms. The only mechanical issue we encountered was the lake water pressure, but the techs easily fixed it. The marina store had snack items (mainly ice cream treats for us) at fair prices. Our boat was fully equipped with an array of cookware and entertaining pieces, Pottery Barn dishes and quality kitchen gadgets-- even a Pampered Chef garlic press. Our hot tub was clean and fully functional. The staff was professional- Every one of them that we interacted with. I highly recommend this company!

DON'T RENT A SKI BOAT FROM THIS PLACE…read more Had a great northern california trip with the exception of the substandard, subpar, partially operating boat and equipment they rented us. The boat couldn't even pull a skiier out of the water, our skiier got injured as a direct result of the "ski" boat (it's not a ski boat, it's a pleasure boat) and skis so old, out of date and damaged (rubber boots ripped) it ruined the day. They also charge more than Shasta. The trim tabs in the cockpit don't operate, you have to do it manually by pressing a button on the engine, and that's only to trim up, you can't trim down. This was an absolute joke, who is going to hang their head over the stern of a speeding boat, reach down near the prop and trim it while you're operating? Their legal exposure is pretty high from our experience. 300 hp Ski Nautique beautiful boat we rented in Shasta: 390 for the whole day. Comes with skis. This garbage place run by teenagers who don't know anything about boats, equipment, or even how to issue a refund to a credit card: we paid $500 for a half day (tax, gas, tube rental, ski rental) The only high point was Rich.. seems like a nice guy, but that hardly compensates for an injury and

The staff were unfriendly and unhelpful while we were there. When we went to dock they were very rushed and unhelpful with us unloading. My wife had to tell them to back off because they almost knocked my 3yr old daughter into the lake. I also witnessed the cashier intentionally hanging up on people calling the marina rather than answering the phone. Now I know what had happened to me weeks earlier when the phone would ring then hang up before it would go to voicemail. The one good thing was the boat we rented was new and clean.

My 2500th review!…read more Because they feared Bailey Cove was too shallow, my in-laws asked to pick me up at Holiday Harbor. First, they wouldn't sell me a $5 parking pass unless I knew someone who rented a boat, so luckily the last name I used "Hanson" worked. They asked "Scott Hanson?" and I'm like, yeah, sure. Second, parking was full (as one might expect on the Saturday before Memorial Day at 4pm), so we had to park in an overflow lot. This meant getting an escort to the lot and a shuttle back to the harbor AND it meant having to estimate a specific time to come back, which is hard when you're depending on a bunch of party boat people for the ride back (I'm looking at you, Scott Hanson. Still, though I had to go through some hassles, the three guys who helped us, including Joe and Hamilton (who are just Frank and Reynolds shy a yacht rock band) were super friendly and helpful.
