However, having moved south to the balmy Peninsula, I was looking for a new supplier - and I think I've found one. I decided to give this car wash a try a few month ago when I was banned from one of the larger…read morecarwash business close by. Usually I don't like slef service car washes because they tend to be run down, dirty and barely functioning. I was pleasantly surprised however. Everything worked really well. The vacuum units are wonderful. When I pulled in I prepped my old truck and prepared to do the sprint from side to side. Thankfully I didn't have to do that because there is a hose for each side of the vehicle. No more feeding it from one side to the other and trying to make it reach bypu just set onside down and pick up the other one. Using the car wash itself was great. I really liked the ease of being able to use a credit card. Who uses cash these days! The one thing that I couldn't figure out was how to get the door to close. There's a button with clear directions on it but it never worked. The door stayed up the whole time. No big deal but it would have helped with the wind. Today I decided to try the auto wash where you pay and stay inside the car. The setup is nice. There's an easy pay system before you pull through. It offers different add ons like rain protection, paint protection etc... I just bought a new truck so I went all out and added everything. The final price was $19. I paid with cash and it gives change. Once it was OK to pull through an automated voice came on and told me to pull forward. It's very high tech. There's a huge panel that has visual cues that go with automated voice telling you to keeping pulling forward. If I went to far there was a section that would light up saying to back up. As it goes through the process the voice tells you each step. At the end, blowers turn on that last 60 seconds on timer and it tells you to pull through slowly so the blower can remove excess water. Even if someone is behind you the door does not open up to let them in until the timer finishes so there's no reason to try to rush through. Overall it was a nice experience. I think it was bit overpriced. For $19 I'd like the option to return in 4 days for another car wash or something. But considering I got in and out quickly without the chaos of other places I enjoyed it and will likely go back.

I have been a loyal monthly customer…read more(including all of my work vehicles) to delta sonic for years using the car wash multiple times a week and never had an issue until this. I was hit inside the car wash. When I exited and asked for a manager, he came over, no apologies or even an "are you ok?" He said fill out this form and we will get back to you in 5-7 days after reviewing footage. I let him know twice that the operator seemed erratic when pulling in and seemed to be starting and stopping the belt several times. I was told "no, he's worked here for 20 years." I received an email 2 days later that they reviewed footage and have no fault of theirs. When I called customer service because I believed that is incorrect, nor do I want to put a claim against my own insurance, I was told "my file will be noted." The operator said "the car behind you put his car into "drive" after being stopped. Which, I find hard to believe considering we were about 25-30% through the wash and not at the entrance. Again, nobody seemed to care or offer any type of apologies, let alone compensation or ownership of any type. I have heard this is common that they pass the liability off if there is any type of accident. Very unhappy with the situation and how it was handled and considering cancelling monthly membership.

That's right, 2700 miles in a truck with a toddler and two animals. The cat puked, the dog spilled our drinks everywhere, the kid pretended french fries were confetti and tossed them everywhere. Diapers were changed on the shoulder of highways in the backseat... I hope the picture I'm painting for you is how dirty that truck was inside. Like, hopelessly filthy. Since my husband won't take his truck someplace to get detailed and cleaned and I find driving his truck nerve racking I was desperate to find a mobile service that does this. I was Yelping for some help and I found ABC Detailing and saw that they offer the mobile service. I emailed them and Scott, the owner was very quick to respond and help me get something scheduled for him to come and clean my husband's filth truck. Scott came and spent several hours cleaning the inside and outside of the truck. The inside was the most damage and Scott made it look showroom clean, like every little crevice and space is clean. You would never know how dirty it was before! He really did a great job and worked very hard on it. He charged a VERY reasonable amount for this. I got my Subaru detailed at Delta Sonic about a month or so ago and spent more money and it wasn't nearly as clean inside. In the future, Scott and ABC is who I'm going to call when the toddler or animals make the car/truck a disaster.

Recently a new more modern automatic bay was installed. I have to wonder if it was in response to the opening of a near by competitor. I found the new automatic bay very easy to use. It did a decent job but I'll reserve my full opinion for the winter months when I'm concerned about removing road salt. Currently there is only one new bay open. Hopefully the rest of this location gets updated to compete with the new competitor.

I've taken quite a few of my cars to this car wash and usually it's okay. But recently taken a…read morevehicle here through the automatic bay and everything was going good until the blow dryers kicked on. As I'm slowing moving forward going through the blow dryers. The right blow dryer snapped the wiper blade cover right off the car. I feel that the blow dryer was maybe on too high or just a little too close. Ironically the owner was there when it happened so I spoke to him about what happened and he proceeded to say that I'm lying on what happened and that it was broken off before I came to the car wash. (It was not) after about a few minutes of talking and him arguing with me on what happened he eventually gave took out a 20$ bill from is pocket and just told me to leave while walking away shaking his head while muttering remarks. Now out this in perspective. You show up to a car wash to get your car washed and the wash damages something on your vehicle you then talk to the person in charge only for them to get mad at you for something their wash did. Literally just such an annoying type of person to deal with.
