They came out to fix the window only to find out the window they ordered was the wrong window and told me I'd have to wait a week before the new window would come in. Only to call back minutes later and tell me that they can't do a mobile repair and if I can't come into the shop I'll have to call someone else to fix it and the lady hangs up in my face. I always thought it was unusual -- who would be out shopping for clothes and think, "Oh yeah, I've got a chip that should be repaired"? Some years later, I found myself with an annoying and potentially dangerous stone chip, about half the diameter of a bb. Worryingly, two cracks appeared to be increasing in length away from the center, about half an inch on each side. I finally figured I should take care of it before it gets worse. Instead of going to the mall, I decided to search Yelp for a highly recommended, locally owned business. That's how I found Frontier Glass. I've been familiar with their name, but hadn't done business with them. As usual, Yelpers did not steer me wrong. I phoned in the morning, and they asked me to stop by so they could take a look. I showed up just before 4:30 -- I knew they closed at 5 and worried I might be too late. They took me in right way, gave the chip a look over, explained how the windshield is constructed and how the procedure works. They advised that there was always a chance that the cracks could get worse once they pumped resin into them. I said I'd take my chances -- it was either that or I was looking at (through?) a new windshield. 15 minutes and $50 later, I could barely see where the chip was. Great customer service, quality work, reasonable prices, local, woman-owned business. 5-stars on all points.
