In June I made the trip to Downtown Kia to check out a 2025 Seltos they had listed. When I got there, I was told someone else was test driving it and likely applying for financing. We took another similar car out for a test drive because I had never driven a Kia before. When we came back suddenly the financing was up in the air and the car might now be available. Likely a sales tactic, and not one Im a fan of, but I was really interested in the car so I proceeded. Things went well, and I decided to go ahead with the purchase of the vehicle. In the finance office, I was presented with 2 existing warranty terms, there was no mention of the 3rd comprehensive 5 year that would still be active on the car for 45k. Then I was presented with the chance to purchase a comp warranty which I did, believing that mine would cease in about 5k. This cost just over 4k. When I got home I went onto the website, because I had been quite sure there was a 5 yr, and it turns out there was! I called the next day to express my disappointment in being misled, and to cancel the extended warranty. That was on June 23. It is now August 5, and the warranty balance is still sitting on my KIA loan accruing interest. The only person at Downtown KIA who seems to care at all is the woman at the front desk. The last time I went in, the manager of finance couldnt even be bothered to walk out and apologize to me for the delay, that was 2 weeks ago, and here I am still waiting. Once you buy the car, good luck getting these folks to give good customer service. I love the car, but wont go back to this dealership again in the future. read more

I would give this place negative stats if I could. We locked in a car at the first of the month and were going to pick said car up two weeks later. The day before we go to pick it up, they call and tell us they actually don't have the car we put a deposit down for. Now, they've held our deposit for a month and refuse to answer our calls. I was honoured with the huge responsibility of helping my daughter find the perfect vehicle for herself and her three young children. We had decided we needed a van. As a new driver, we needed to look at used vehicles. I saw an ad on marketplace for a Toyota Sienna. I had been interested and saw a few in auto trader. A very popular choice safety wise. I Acted quickly, and answered Ken's ad at Kia downtown. He answered me immediately and we set up a viewing and test drive. I liked the vehicle. Ken assured me that once the vehicle was fully inspected and cleaned, then I could come back with my daughter. In the meantime, I did my research on pricing. I found the manager Anthony very fair at negotiation. We agreed on a great deal. Not only did we chat about pricing, we chatted about how important it was to make sure our children are safe and having love for our grandchildren in common was very reassuring. Ken sent me the inspection report and I had a few questions. He engaged his sales manager Angelo to assist in any questions I had. I was somewhat emotional as the responsibility is huge when being responsible for finding a great used vehicle. Angelo assured me that only a great vehicle would be allowed to be sold there, and that they stood by their word. It was refreshing to deal with caring people, no pressure, willing to take the time to reassure an emotional grandma. Finally, there was Thea in finance. She took the time to talk with us about financing and actually saved me hundreds of dollars advising me to use other means at my bank instead of just using my card. Also fully informing me of warranties that could save us a great deal if something huge went wrong in the future. As we all know it can happen with used vehicles. I own a Kia Sorento and recently visited this dealership (Kia at 2430 Burrard) looking to trade in my vehicle. Cons -Not a typical car lot, you have to find parking and pay the meter on the side street. -When I arrived to view the vehicle, the vehicle was dirty. -The car fax was outdated -The trade offer was way under market -The Sales Manager did not work hard enough to make the deal -The Sales Manager did not exude honesty. Pros -The salesperson was honest and followed up Seeing that I already owned a Kia and was a Kia brand customer, I expected a better customer experience. It was on this basis I went to the dealership in good faith, expecting the dealership would take care of my needs (listen) and try to work the best deal possible, but this was not the case. Bought a pre owned car here. 2 hrs before time to sign the papers they tell me they only have one key for me. Upon taking the car for delivery they leave used masks, drink containers and vape cartridges in the car and told me it was supposed to be detailed. read more

I bought a Kia Stinger recently from Kia Downtown (Vancouver, BC) and had (still have) some issues. However, this is not a "beat 'em up" review, as there are some due credit to be given. After taking delivery and noticing that I was charged $1,500 approximately on top of the agreed price, I contacted two different Financial Managers, who had since left, and the then GM, but to no avail. After Rob Backman, the new GM, took ownership of the issue and ascertained the facts, he was able to refund the main overcharges. Whether the issue was caused by genuine mistakes or not previously, Rob had handled it professionally and with goodwill. Ryan Kim, while not being the original Sale Consultant, was also key to the solution. He had provided excellent customer service and an honest account of the agreed deal. Had a bad experience here. Came to take a look at Kia Seltos with no intention to buy one immediately. What I liked was that I drive tested the car right away. Also, the salesman Connor explained the specs and benefits of the car. But what disappointed me was that after I came back they pushed me really hard to sell me the car, the test drive car as a new. Also, they started preparing financial documents and put additional options I hadn't been asked about (like rugs, tire protection and lifetime free oil change) into the final price. To make matters worse, the salesman started looking at me as I disappointed him so deeply so I literally felt guilt. I didn't like the pressure I was under here but after a while, I thought I'd buy a car from that dealership. I got several calls from them and when I told them I was finally ready to buy a car but needed a yellow color one, I was promised I'd get a call from them shortly. No other calls from them since then. But I'm glad they forgot about me. Because after a couple weeks, I went to another dealership and had such a pleasure working with them and finally bought Seltos there in the right trim and color and with just 25km on the odo. Do not recommend this place. Two stars only because another salesman (I guess it was their manager) was polite and made the experience a little bit less uncomfortable. read more

Absolutely the worst dealership to deal with. I placed a deposit of $1000 for a Kia Seltos at the end of August and was told delivery would be 1 1/2 to 2 months for delivery. When 2 months had passed , I dropped by the dealership to check on the progress and was told delivery should be another month.After the 3rd month of hearing nothing ,I again visited the dealership and was assured my Seltos would be in any time soon. 4 months now pass, I again visit dealership and am told once again I'm at the top of the list to receive the next one available. 5 months pass and still nothing. 6 months pass and still nothing. By the seventh month , I call the dealership and request to speak to my salesperson ( Sepehr ). I call 5 times , but he never returns my call. I finally ask to speak to the sales manager , and request a refund. These guys are just outright dishonest. They held onto my deposit for 7 months and never gave any updates on delivery. Every other Kia dealership I visited afterwards was in disbelief that my order would have taken so long and some had suggested that my order was likely sold to another buyer. Overall I would never recommend or deal with this dealership again. Very poor service, and dishonest. read more

I would give Mehdi Moghareh & Raj Gill ZERO stars but unfortunately Yelp does not have that option. DECEPTIVE; DISGRACEFUL; DEGENERATE I was not aware that this was a SHOWROOM model. When I returned to the dealer to pickup things that they had forgotten to place in the car I.e. floor mats, etc. I was told that these are removed because this car was a showroom model that was mainly used to demo the vehicle to all visitors of the dealership. Also, there was a label on the trunk advertising the dealership. When I asked them to remove it they were reluctant. When they did so you can still see the residue of the letters making a mess. While making the purchase I was trading in a lease which I had obtained from this same dealer to buy a car (using finance) since at the time I was purchasing the lease I was given wrong information regarding the cars capabilities i.e. apple play; GPS capabilities. I was sold this car which is quite troublesome and (AKA a LEMON) by Mehdi Moghareh (General Manager & Raj Gill). I am fond of the KIA brand and have known it to be a smooth ride. My issue is with this particular vehicle since it seems I have been duped in purchasing it. Also, at the time of sale I was coerced into a colorful review by RAJ GILL. Who did not leave me time and pressured me into it. I would like this dealership dealt with and the car I was sold to be fully fixed and looked into at their cost. This is a disgrace to the brand what they are doing there! In the duration of the first year of owning this car, there were multiple issues with the light bulbs of the rear interior break light and right front low beam lights. Recently there is another issue with the rearview camera that keeps flickering and disconnecting. Which is quite dangerous while driving in rear shift. read more
