Absolutely horrible customer service and a very disappointing experience…read more During an energy audit, my hardwood floor was damaged. I also discovered that the technician moved my security camera from the window to a table without asking. This was captured on my security footage. When I raised these concerns with management, I felt they were dismissed. The manager told me he believed the technician's account over mine despite the video I provided. I also informed him that I intended to leave an online review. During our conversation, he responded by saying, "I'll sue you for defamation." And, " I can't wait to see everyone on Reddit laugh at you" That response made me question whether customers feel comfortable leaving honest negative reviews after receiving that kind of warning. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. I encourage anyone hiring these contractors to have security cameras and to document the condition of their home before and after service. In my opinion, moving a customer's security camera without permission is a serious security concern. Xcel's website has a list of companies you should use I'll provide a list below. With only 140 reviews on google and 21 on yelp the business has been in business for 17 years he says. Yea a lot of people love your business

We purchased a new home in '21 and knew we wanted to do at least three things right off the bat: 1)…read moreinsulate the attic, 2) install solar, and 3) an EV charger. I was pleased to find that REenergizeCO did them all and were more than just an installer but on mission to increase energy efficiency. From start to finish communication was fantastic. They first did the insulation and we noticed a difference almost immediately. They also took care of submitting the Xcel rebate paperwork for it. The solar panels and EVSE came a bit later. Again, they took care of all the paperwork with Xcel. The system has been working without flaw since and saving us tons of money in this inflated energy cost environment. We had them out recently to detach and reset the panels for a roof replacement. They took the opportunity to slightly tweak the layout for better efficiency. Still the same commitment to quality!

That is not the norm when interacting with the trades. My HVAC system had a pipe break and it was leaking water over electrical cords. This was an electrical hazard in the making. The leaky pipe was spilling water all over the play yard of my dog training facility. My team could not use the space, as the water was growing an ecosystem and the dogs wanted to lap it up like a kale fruit drink. Hello giardia! Sean noticed that our HVAC system was not sealed, so we were essentially heating and cooling the outside. They sealed what needed sealing and replaced our air filters. My understanding is that the team primarily does insulation in Denver, so they can help with that, too. Drug-free crew...no meth mouth. Hire these people.

As it turned out, we had lacking insulation in our attic and no insulation at all in our exterior walls. Mark presented us with several options and guided us toward the option that would have the most immediate impact and fit our budget. He filed all of the paperwork for the Xcel rebate. While Xcel took quite a while to process the rebate, it ended up being substantially more than I was expecting and certainly help offset the costs improving the insulation throughout our home. Before the improvements, the second level of our 2-story home was significantly hotter in the Summer or colder in the Winter, than the main floor. Now, we have consistent temps throughout the house and are seeing lower Xcel bills too. Mark and his assistant were courteous and professional throughout the 2-day job and very Covid conscious as well, which was appreciated. Highly recommended!!!

Now, adding to the scores of five-star reviews on Airtight Energy Inspections! Stuart came to do the audit this morning and I was so impressed at his knowledge of how to improve the efficiency of our 1926 Wash Park Bungalow. He even talked me out of spending $15k+ on new storm windows, giving me much affordable options that will yield better results. In addition to all of his recommendations, he is getting me a $40 annual credit with xcel at no cost to me. Among other things, he discovered that our bathroom is venting into insulation in our attic (a risk factor for mold) and that our sunlight needs to be sealed. Will be recommending Stuart to my neighbors!

The lady I spoke with, who's name I've forgotten, was extremely helpful. After spending a bit of time asking questions to understand our project and needs, she went told me that she wasn't aware of the any rebates but that she'd look into it and follow up with me. Later than evening she called me and confirmed there were currently no rebates, and concluded that it didn't make any sense for us to have them audit our home. The way she put it was roughly "we don't like to put ourselves in situations where we can't add value". I really appreciate the honestly and extra effort she made.

Since then, I have referred hundreds of customers to this place over the years with my Window Company JDI Windows. Instead, I got an earful how 'Steve' got no work done because he didn't adhere to his schedule and went to the wrong address. ??? Why do I care? I don't. Five hours after the fact and 'Steve' didn't check in with the office, and the office didn't reach out to say 'Oops, we did it again.' Not getting a third chance to not show up. **For a quote.** Imagine if we'd scheduled to do the work with them? As if. rec'd this defensive, unprofessional response from the owner, Debra W., who continues to demonstrate customer service doesn't exist at Bestway, although she did make my husband laugh aloud at her, so there's that positive, I suppose. "We aren't perfect and never said we were. We have been working 14-18 hours a day. I personally I have had 3 days off since the fires. The crews have had one day off a week. We are tired, we are exhausted, but we are trying to do the best we can. As a resident of Lafayette, and Louisville we are not gouging our neighbors like other companies. And we get alot [sic] of complements [sic] every day. So we must be doing something right. We don't make you sign a contract and we get the highest results out there so you are free to go with who ever you like." We did go with another firm, NetZero, who had excellent customer service, showed up every time they said they would, doesn't have one "sign a contract," has received numerous compliments and recommendations from our neighbors here in the Marshall Fire impacted neighborhoods (Superior and Louisville), did all the paperwork for us with the rebates, and charged a fair price, no gouging. Tip to Debra W.: next time you get a negative albeit honest review, instead of lashing out at the reviewer, take a moment to really read it and see what you can take away from it. If you still feel moved to reply, instead of being ugly and defensive, maybe say how sorry you are about the two no-shows and the poor customer service, that you are exhausted, etc., although that's no excuse, and you're sorry this customer slipped through the cracks. You can add that as a Lafayette resident you take treating residents of Louisville and Lafayette (and hopefully Superior, Broomfield, Erie) fairly. You didn't choose that path this time, perhaps you will the next.
