The driver came in an SUV (very nice I may add) and she was having trouble getting in. After she tried a couple times, unsucccessfully, to get in, the driver scooped her up and gently placed her inside the vehicle. No one was available to provide me with transportation to RSW. So I booked passage with Surfside Airport Shuttle Service. My ride , scheduled for a 10:00 a. m. Pickup , arrived a few minutes early. Kimberly was my driver and we enjoyed a pleasant conversation en route to the airport. I was the only passenger as the service is exclusive. I noticed that the van in which I was being driven was very clean , inside and outside. This is a small family owned business. The fare was $56.00 for one person or two. More than two people and the price is increased. But 2 can travel for the same price as one, $56.00. We arrived at RSW Airport in plenty of time for me to catch my flight. If in need of airport transportation I would recommend Surfside Airport Shuttle Service. The service is prompt , clean and dependable. Upon arrival at the airport they illegally detained my associate demanding an additional form of payment because they claimed they don't use PayPal. (The business is listed as paypal accepting according to the PayPal vendor list) I explained to them that the business has a PayPal account and showed the receipt where the funds had been deposited in the account. Still they demanded that I pay an additional $200 before they would let her exit the vehicle. I of course paid this so she would be released. What should have been an easy trip to the airport turned into an adventure in extortion and false imprisonment. Later they called to confirm that they did receive the money in their PayPal and will refund it ...... That was 2 days ago and I'm still waiting for a refund.......

I even considered walking 5hrs along the highway to avoid the horror stories suffered by other travelers who've used other taxi/shuttle services to the airport. Luckily, I came across this service and it lifted a huge load off my shoulders. I also needed to get some work done remotely, so the quick, smooth ride saved me a lot of time before my flight. Even though I only called a few hours ahead, they had drivers available within half an hour. They took down my name, number, and location, and I received a call from the driver as he arrived at my pick-up location - a neighborhood coffee shop. It seems like they are very well-organized and well-staffed. The drivers are very friendly, professional, and hard-working. I was in a van that seats up to 8 people. The cost is reasonable, considering the quality of service and the stress-free experience. I made sure to tip accordingly and will definitely use them again when I am in the area in the future. Their services even extend all the way to Tampa, Sarasota, and Miami, among other places. Not sure how much those rides cost, but if you're in a pinch, this is definitely a reliable service to get you to your desired airport location!

This response was both unprofessional and concerning, especially given that we were already waiting past our scheduled time. After waiting a few more minutes with no update, we called again. At that point, he told us to come find him. We had been told to look for a white van, but he was in a black one, which caused unnecessary confusion. When we approached to confirm his identity, his response was dismissive and irritated. During this time, we also received a call back from a woman at your company who said, "Oh my God, you're just going to have to wait," which only added to the frustration and lack of professionalism we were already experiencing. We apologized to Dennis for the confusion and simply tried to confirm we were in the correct vehicle and that the address was accurate. In response, he slammed the door. The vehicle itself was clearly having issues and struggling while driving, which made the situation even more uncomfortable. Despite all of this, when we arrived, we still chose to tip him. In return, he ripped up the money and threw part of it out the window, keeping the other half. This behavior was completely unacceptable and frankly shocking. We are frequent customers, as we have family in Cape Coral and regularly bring others with us. Never again and will tell everyone never to go to though this place.

Your options are to pay in cash or allow the driver a moment to call the office to tell them your credit card info over the phone. What century are they in? It is my own fault that I did not ask them what the cost would be ahead of time. However they are located on a small resort island, and it would be helpful and not difficult for them to post the price of an airport run on their website, or tell you what the charge will be, as well as their way of accepting payment in their confirmatory email.

As a result, the people who were going to pick me up originally were unable to do so. And I needed to get to Captiva, about an hour away from the airport. I called two other limousine companies and they had no availability. That actually turned out to be a blessing because Ambassador Transportation was outstanding in absolutely every respect! Richard, the owner, was so nice and so patient in arranging for everything quickly and efficiently. Roger, my driver, was terrific. The car was so clean and comfortable. Very easy to meet him upon my arrival. Great communication all around. I can't recommend Ambassador Transportation highly enough!

We have two toddlers, and they provided two infant car seats, which didn't fit our kids. They also weren't installed, which they say is due to liability reasons, but they didn't mention that ahead of time. We couldn't figure out how to install them right away, and the driver started rushing us and wouldn't even give us any guidance about how to do it. So, probably fine if you don't have little kids, but unusable if you do.
