Pretty much the worst possible experience with this company. They have a business PayPal account in which I deposited the fare the evening before pickup. Upon arrival at the airport they illegally detained my associate demanding an additional form of payment because they claimed they don't use PayPal. (The business is listed as paypal accepting according to the PayPal vendor list) I explained to them that the business has a PayPal account and showed the receipt where the funds had been deposited in the account. Still they demanded that I pay an additional $200 before they would let her exit the vehicle. I of course paid this so she would be released. What should have been an easy trip to the airport turned into an adventure in extortion and false imprisonment. Later they called to confirm that they did receive the money in their PayPal and will refund it ...... That was 2 days ago and I'm still waiting for a refund....... read more

Very smooth experience from beginning to end, starting with the excellent service I received when I first called them up. For someone who was not familiar with the surroundings, I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find a reliable ride from downtown Ft. Myers to the airport. I even considered walking 5hrs along the highway to avoid the horror stories suffered by other travelers who've used other taxi/shuttle services to the airport. Luckily, I came across this service and it lifted a huge load off my shoulders. I also needed to get some work done remotely, so the quick, smooth ride saved me a lot of time before my flight. Even though I only called a few hours ahead, they had drivers available within half an hour. They took down my name, number, and location, and I received a call from the driver as he arrived at my pick-up location - a neighborhood coffee shop. It seems like they are very well-organized and well-staffed. The drivers are very friendly, professional, and hard-working. I was in a van that seats up to 8 people. The cost is reasonable, considering the quality of service and the stress-free experience. I made sure to tip accordingly and will definitely use them again when I am in the area in the future. Their services even extend all the way to Tampa, Sarasota, and Miami, among other places. Not sure how much those rides cost, but if you're in a pinch, this is definitely a reliable service to get you to your desired airport location! read more

Based on previous reviews, I contacted Brian about arranging a pick up at baggage claim for my 80 year old mother ( a reluctant traveler). He assured me that for $5.00 additional the driver would meet my mother at baggage claim and bring the car for her! WOW! I just heard from Mom and she said the service was exceptional ( amazing knowing my mom)! Pete was waiting at baggage claim with a welcome sign. He retrieved her bags from, escorted her and the bags to the curb while he brought a Lincoln Town car to pick her up ( my father drive a Lincoln Town Car before he passed 19 years ago) . On the short drive home, mom asked if Pete could stop at Jimmy Johns ( located just outside her development) so she could get a sandwich for lunch - he even went in and got it for her! Pete brought moms luggage inside her home and placed it where she could easily unpack it! This was truly SUPERIOR service, I will need transportation for mom again in the fall when she travels for her granddaughters wedding, you can bet I will be calling Superior Airport Shuttle again! Thank you Brian and Pete for making Moms travels so smooth! The $43 fee for meet and greet plus travel was less than $10 more than a cab from RSW to moms cost me 2 weeks earlier- .... can't recommend these guys enough! read more

We emailed Superior Airport Shuttle the night before our trip and they responded promptly with an affordable quote. We had a sedan pick us up at the airport and take us to Bonita Springs and were so pleased with the service that we set up a return trip to the airport a few days later and had one of their vans show up, equally enjoyable experience. I'd recommend calling these guys first, other companies don't respond and charge ridiculous rates. This company was great from start to finish, we will use next time we are in the area. read more

I used the Superior Airport Shuttle the first week in December 2019 for transportation the from Fort Myers airport to Sanibel Island, Florida . The car was marked "Superior" so I knew which vehicle it was. It was daylight when I was picked up, but then I realized on route, that the office at the hotel/inn I was staying at was closed , and I didn't know how to obtain my key to my unit. The driver assured me that many people get in late, so not to worry. On arrival at the hotel office building, (it was quite dark by then) he stayed to help me contact the after hours emergency number, and then helped me get my key from the hotel lock box and found my unit and dropped my luggage at the door. He then waited in the car until he saw me open the door and step inside, and then he left. I really appreciated this driver going out of his way to make sure I got to my unit and was safe. read more

Sad to see a company go downhill in service. We have used them for years. Although their vans and cars needed some updating they were reliable. Now reliability isn't even in their repertoire! Unfortunately a very poor experience. We had arranged for pick at 1015amand when we didn't hear from the company by 1020,we were told that the driver had a flat tire. They were going to send another driver out. The other driver showed up at 1115. The van was clean but in significant disrepair (torn up carpeting, rusty) and also smelled of tobacco smoke. We had to leave the windows open for the entire ride. They charged $60 for one way from the Ritz Carlton to RSW. Uber was $35. Won't use again. read more

DO NOT use this service. Our driver showed up so late and there was not enough room for all of us to fit. The car smelled like smoke and there were stains all in the car. It's in horrible shape and all the warning lights are on. Driver had multiple bottles of coolant and water to pour over the engine and we literally had to stop on the side of the road for the engine to cool down. I called them on a Friday for a ride on Saturday from Ft Myers to Tampa, FL. They were more than happy to accommodate us and at a great rate. Other companies I had called just complained about the distance but not Superior Airport Shuttle. Once I had the pick up scheduled they let me know the drivers name and style of car so I could let my customer know what to expect. They were professional, car immaculate, friendly, and most accommodating. definitely will use them in the future and happy to know their is still great Customer Service out there. The main idea of an airport shuttle is they get you to the airport on time. After waiting 20 min we gave up and called an Uber which got us here on time. To top it off when I called and canceled the driver he didn't seem to care. read more

I have used this service twice. The first trip to the airport was sketchy at best. Driver not familiar with area and it was not a great experience. The second trip the driver was talking inappropriately with the passengers. Discussing personal info that should not have been talked about. Very forward with females making the entire trip uncomfortable. As my guest exited the vehicle the driver KISSED her. When she landed he also contacted her by phone to check on her. I called the day before to schedule a ride, and my driver Jim was on time for my 6:00am pickup (actually he was a little early so we could leave on time). He was friendly, and we had a nice chat on the way. They had a nice clean town car and a reasonable rate from where I was in Cape Coral to the Fort Myers airport. DON'T EVER USE THIS SERVICE!!!!! This is a joke of a company. My mother who is 78 and wheelchair assisted sat in the airport for over an hour because Brian didn't tell his driver to meet her inside . After over an hour - the car that she was picked up in was a beat up rusted Lincoln that was at least 10 years old and filthy inside. To top things off the cars AC didn't work in 80 plus degrees and they provided no water. The driver Freddy was a nice guy and was not his fault. The gentleman who took my call handled the reservation smoothly and very professionally, completely hassle-free -- I say this because I called 2 companies before Superior, and they gave me all kinds of hassles! One even wanted me to fax over a copy of my driver's license WITH a copy of my credit card. I think NOT. Do not use this company. I booked a reservation with them to pick me up at RSW. For $30. Their driver had a problem with his van and they gave his runs to another taxi service who charges $40. I was never notified. The device from the other company (Dolphin) was not good and cost me $10 more. Try MBA taxi at the airport instead. read more

I have used Superior Airport Shuttle for about 10 years. They are a fantastic group. They have always followed through as promised. They have been extremely helpful transporting my elderly family members between Naples and Fort Myers airport. I am able to safely use my credit card over the phone to prepay without any issues with credit card fraud. I would not use any other transportation service. read more

We used Superior transport for a ride to RSW on 10/20/15. Besides lacking courtesy, the driver took calls while driving, was writing down info while driving, and worst of all, TEXTING WHILE DRIVING UP the Interstate going 70 mph! This is totally unacceptable that this company even permits their drivers to use a cell phone while transporting customers. I have and will continue to spread the word that this company does NOT enforce safe driving practices. DO NOT USE IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE! Texting while car is moving is totally unacceptable.
