Unreliable and unprofessional. Had ticket to catch the 7:40 pm shuttle from the airport 9/13 which was confirmed when I purchased ticket just before the scheduled departure. When the shuttle was half hour delayed, I called office. I was simply told that it's delayed due to traffic. In the end, the bus never showed up. When I tried to call the office back, I got a hang up one time and when I tried to call again, the calls were not answered. The 4 of us had to just wait for the next scheduled departure. No further explanation from the company for the cancelled trip. This is NOT how you run a business that deals with schedules. The driver was rude and wouldn't offer an explanation or apologies. He simply said, I'm just the driver. Since they now have a monopoly on Bloomington, they probably think they can do this without consequence as people don't have any choice. Construction is nearly done on 37 between Bloomington and Martinsville, so the ride took less than an hour from 17th and Walnut to the dropoff point at the airport. Driver was very nice and the shuttle was clean. Hard to beat for $23 since that is about two days in the airport garage. read more

They have the worst service . I booked a shuttle for McNutt to the airport and they never showed up . I called dispatch and was told that the road was closed and driver unable to pick up . However the road was open . I never got any message . While talking with dispatch 1 hr later I then got a message that the driver did show up , however I have a picture I took with a time stamp showing I was there . So two different answers . The only correspondence I got prior to calling dispatch was that shuttle was on the way and then a text to rate their service . I called the following week since it happened on a weekend to ask for refund with no reply . 2 emails sent and still no reply or refund . They were extremely helpful when I made the reservation over the phone, and Bruce the driver was an absolute gem! This is the worst care service I've ever dealt with professionally. I reserved a private car for a guest, was told that I could give them the final account number the day before, and when I did so, was told there were no longer any car and that they needed the number three days in advance, which is directly the opposite of what I was told. On a recent trip to Bloomington I needed a ride back to the airport and researched a few shuttles services. I landed on GO Express based on reviews, availability, and price. Happy to say that both I and a friend had good experiences! Simple and no fuss transport. $20 one way is WAY cheaper than any other option such as uber/taxi. Booked and paid online. One shuttle makes multiple stops so select the pickup stop that is best for you. Be at least 5-10 minutes early to your stop as they don't stick around long. They are on time to your stop so be there ready and waiting. Driver will load your bag(s) and you board to pick any open seat you like. Once the shuttle makes all the stops around town you are on your way direct to the Indianapolis airport. Shuttle was on time for both pickup and drop off times as listed on the website. Very thankful for this transportation option and wish I had known about it sooner! Highly recommend for anyone needing a ride between Indy airport and btown. If I could give this INCOMPETENT business 0 stars I would!!! Let's start with Kimberly....she has to be the WORST employee ever on record of being employed!! She hung up on me...and kept hanging up on me until the phones rolled over and went to the emergency after hours line! She would not transfer me to the owner, give me his name, or number or even give him a message to call me!! The driver left my daughter stranded at 10:40 pm while she was trying to get from Indy to Bloomington after Thanksgiving break! Please please, do NOT use this company to ensure the safety of your children! They are so incompetent, they can't do what I paid them to do!! She and ANOTHER student were left....she shared an Uber with a total stranger so she could get back to her dorm! All while waiting over 30 minutes for a bus that didn't show up!!! She had done it twice before so she knew EXACTLY where to go...she was there...bus was not!! When I called to complain I got hung up on several times making me even more angry!!! "Kimberly's" demeanor and how to help customers when their company screws up is pathetic! Just like this company and her. Took the Campus Commute shuttle today. Reasonably priced, nice driver, operates on time. Unfortunately not as many amenities as advertised. Bathroom was "out of order", wifi was non-existent, and there was no place to plug in my computer, making the hour-plus commute a waste of time. Airport shuttle is worth using if you have to travel between Bloomington and IND. Have historically had solid service. read more

This is my first time using the Bloomington shuttle. Usually I get a friend to pick me up from Indianapolis International, but this trip caught me midday when my options were all at work. The shuttle did arrive on time, however as I write this, we are still sitting six minutes and counting after the 10:40 departure time. Since many Bloomington residents travel frequently and make travel plans on the go, ordering from smartphones, printing the confirmation is an unnecessary hassle. Thinking such a reputable Bloomington transportation service would be aware of this lapse in customer service, I did not print my confirmation. Upon showing the driver the email from my android along with my photo ID, he said I would have to PAY the difference between the $20 at the kiosk, from the... $16! (Not 15 as advertised) paid online. He wound up letting it slide, but advised that "next time" it will be different. Oh, and don't sit in the very back of the bus either, unless you want motion sickness from the bus' launching over bumps at break-neck speeds. Maybe "next time" I will use the competing service, Star of America. read more

If you are looking for transportation from/to a downtown hotel from/to the airport at the best rate then Go Express Travel Shuttle is great. They do not pick up or drop off at your hotel but at a nearby curbside stop indicated by their Go Express signs. It's really easy to find and use. I am new to town on business, and assumed their were shuttles to and from where I was staying. I called and they suggested go travel express. when i got to zone to catch the bus, the driver asked if i had a reservation (are you kidding me I'm from Wyoming who reserves a bus ride) I explained my situation, the driver grabbed my bag told me to hop in and proceeded to talk me through the reservation process so i could pay for my ride. Ironically, this great review comes from a not-so-great experience. Due to human error on Go Express's webmaster's part, I was able to book a shuttle that was not scheduled to run. Of course, the bus never showed up because it did not exist, resulting in me having to book an extra night at a hotel in Chicago, get a flight to Indy, and a shuttle to Bloomington. Go Express has agreed to refund ALL expenses and were EXTREMELY apologetic! With most large companies today, it would have taken a lawsuit! I felt cared for! read more

Travel at its best. I began using the "Go Bus" last year when my daughter moved to Bloomington. I continue to be impressed with the service I receive each and ever time. The morning of pickup I was a little worried because it had snowed that morning, but they showed up a little early and got us there with no problems at all. Unfortunately I had one of the worst experiences dealing with this company. I purchased a ticket for a ride, however the bus arrives and departs earlier than stated online. This left me and another passenger wondering what was going on. I call in to ask what was going on, and reached a very unhelpful staff representative who told me there was nothing that could be done. She continued to sit in silence as I tried to figure out how to reach the flight that I ultimately missed. I was not offered a refund or any type of condolences for their error. They didn't even check to see if I could meet the bus at a different stop. Pick-up from the Home 2 Suites was prompt, the driver was super friendly and efficient and the bus arrived at the airport a little early. All this for $23 is a great bargain. I had great service from the airport to Bloomington. I use a cane and the driver was very helpful with my bags. I left something behind and the driver saw it and turned it in so I could pick it up at the office. On my ride back to the airport a different driver was early to the airport and took the time to bring my bags to the inside elevator for me on his break. I had a really good experience with GO express travel on a recent trip to University of Indiana. I stayed at Biddle Hotel at the IMU and the service is basically door to door from the Indianapolis airport. The drivers are polite, there's plenty of room for luggage, the pick-ups are on time and we even got to the airport early on our return trip Sunday morning. Reasonably priced too. Terrible experience with the Go Express Travel private sedan service last week. I scheduled a 6:30 a.m. pickup at my house, and their office confirmed it 2 days in advance. On the day, the driver did not show up. I managed to reach a dispatcher at that hour and was told that the car was not available and that I would have to find an "alternative means" of getting to the airport, which I did by driving myself. I received a verbal apology, a refund, and a voucher for a future ONE-WAY trip to the airport. I was also told that this is not the way they do business.
