Not a good experience. Slow and poor service. Pulled pork nachos no longer with nachos, just waffle fries. Although other nacho options on menu, Waitress said substitution nachos for the fries was not an option in a cold tone. Really? Coleslaw was also not available for the fish and chips, but for an UP-CHARGE there were other options like a small side salad. UP-CHARGE, really??? No reasonable substitutions here when you run out? Awesome smash burger! We went to a retirement party here and Levi Craft played with his band. The band was excellent and the food was really good. The bar service was great and they were super friendly. The smash burgers were coming straight off the grill and cooked to order. Reasonably priced too. read more

We were told to come right as it opens at 11 and we showed up at 11:01 and got the last table! They were out of fish tacos and water (??) the day we went which was weird. We had the pretzel bites appetizer which were soft. I had the chicken club wrap which was also good. The pasta salad is sweet tasting. Ate here yesterday after picking up my sister from the Moline airport. We waited 20 minutes for the serving staff to acknowledge our presence. They did not, so I had interrupt one of them and asked if I could go up to get a drinks from the bar myself. Their menu has not changed for the last two years and is very limited. I thought the food was not that great. I had the buffalo ranch Wrap and it was way too hot. And i like spicy food. Since I knew it would be a lot of trouble to get a Second drink to wash down the wrap, i held back from eating the second half of my wrap My sister had the fish tacos they were served cold in a flour tortilla wrap. We noticed the couple next to us had ordered fish tacos also and they walked out without touching them. Not sure how this restaurant stays open. I will give it five stars for the view one star for the food, zero stars for the service. read more

We have visited Go Fish many times in the past without any problems... Today was a different story. We decided to take our son and his girlfriend there for a Father's Day meal. When we arrived we chose to sit outside in spite of the rainy weather approaching.. We sat down and a waitress approached us within a few minutes for our drink orders. Drinks arrived shortly afterwards and we placed our food order at that time. Peel and eat shrimp, chicken sandwich and a burger. Waitress indicated it would take 45 minutes. We were ok with that. After about 15 minutes we ordered some chips and salsa to tie us over until the food came.. Chips and salsa took about 25 minutes to arrive. Food arrived after 1 1/2 hours. This amount of time is unacceptable since there were maybe 25 people dining... The hamburger was overcooked and chewy, the chicken had a funky flavor to it. The peel and eat shrimp was delicious as usual... I'm not sure what the circumstances were in the kitchen but management better get a grip on it. It'll be a while for us to come back although we love the scenic views and outdoor seating. Please correct the issues so we won't hesitate in the future to enjoy your establishment. Went out for fun when my sister and my mom were out. We LOVED this place. The view was very pretty. We were even lucky enough to see a couple of boats drive by. The food took over 20 minutes so don't come when your in a hurry. However everything tasted great. I got the chicken club wrap.with fries. (The photo) Everything on my plate tasted great. My dad got the cowboy burger with fries. I was unable to get a photo but it tasted amazing when I tried it. The location has a beautiful Mississippi view. The service was attentive. If you eat on the deck, finish your meal before sundown or it is hard to see what you are eating. I had fish and chips. The fries were perfect crispness. . My wife had fish tacos. The filling was fresh ingredients. I didn't care for the type of fish used in it. I had a Mojito. And we ended up getting our food to go. Was told the kitchen was backed up, when there were people getting seated after us, getting their food and leaving before we did. We understand that they are understaffed, but don't seat every table and make people wait 3 hours and blame it on your kitchen. Overpriced, horrible, borderline inedible bar food (one of our entrees was actually inedible, and not even correct - hard as a rock, burnt deep fried chicken, and stale falling apart bread, and nothing on it that was supposed to be - sauce, pickles, cheese - and not one employee came within 40 feet of our table for 30 minutes after this dog food was delivered (by someone who wasn't' our server). Their "servers" disappear for half hour stretches, and never check in on your table, not once. Our drinks were empty after the first hour that we sat at our table (yes, the first hour) and we were NEVER asked if we wanted a refill, or anything else for that matter. Nobody that works there gives a crap, or worse - they seem to want to punish you for stopping in. You will take you least 3 hours to stop for lunch on the weekend, as it did for us. Never an apology for anything. Absolutely WORSE eating experience of my entire life. Please never, ever go here and tell your friends. Save yourself. read more

Granted, it was a Friday night, but you could tell the food was slow coming out of the kitchen. When I mentioned our frustration with the wait times, I expected an apology and maybe the drinks comped for my kids and I. I suggested this to the waitress and she said they are not allowed to compensate and the owners wouldn't either. Great.
