Ordered a Beef Burger and White Russian Parfait that were both succulent and presented in a very appetizing format. The wait staff gave information on the most popular dishes before I settled on the delicious burger. The White Russian Parfait had several layers of smooth whipped cream, cocoa chocolate and a tastefully house prepared brownie at the bottom. Gorgeous dining room. Go in, hang out, and have a drink at the very very least. You will feel transported and uplifted ... in a buzzy way ofc. All of the staff are charming and accommodating. We requested mezcal - a rarity in QCA - and were surprised they had a bottle. My drink was the French 75 because why not. My shrimp risotto, my partner's Caesar salad, and the bruschetta and crispy Brussels sprouts we shared? Amazing in every way. Like, I will have vivid daydreams about those sprouts. I was disappointed they didn't have a vegan option on the menu (we did not ask if they accommodated off menu requests). But if they change up the entrees periodically, perhaps I missed out on a past vegan offering. So in that case, I would love to come back in a few months to see what's new! read more

Great place to grab great food and drinks and have a memorable experience! I was in Muscatine, Iowa for work and flew in to Moline. My coworkers and I decided to stay at a hotel next to the airport since we all had early flights the next morning. When we arrived and checked in we asked the lady that checked us in for a suggestion for Happy Hour and she suggested going here and I'm sure glad she did! We parked on the street just a block from the hotel where the restaurant is located. There's a lot of parking options nearby. The restaurant is located in a hotel and has a great feel. Very clean and attractive. The host greeted us and asked if we had reservations. Although we didn't, we were still sat immediately. It was a group of 4 of us. Firstly, I LOVE the menus! They look like newspapers and add a nice flair, but not in a cheap way. I thought it was unique and it was attractive. Although we originally went for happy hour we ended up ordering from the regular menu. Our server greeted us quickly and was great! The entire staff was friendly and hospitable. For my first drink I ordered the "We'll Take it From Here." For that drink, you tell your server what your favorite liquor is and a few questions then the bartender surprises you. I love going to craft bars and being able to just have a conversation with the bartender to see what they can whip up based on what I like. My spirit of choice is blanco tequila and the bartender did her thing with this! I don't like too sweet or spicy. I have no idea what she made but it was DELICIOUS! I was a bit worried when I saw the cinnamon, but it gave a great flavor kick and all of the flavors mixed well. I highly recommend ordering that! For my second drink I ordered the Blackberry Lemon Drop and it was also delicious. I love a lemon drop martini and the blackberry gave it an extra flavor that mixed very well. For an appetizer we ordered the Goat cheese and omg I could've eaten the whole thing by myself! I didn't think I liked goat cheese until this trip. My coworker ordered it and I'm glad I trusted her! For the entree my coworker and I decided to split the Steak Diane. We both wanted to try it and knew we wouldn't be able to eat it all and since we had a flight early the next morning we decided to split it so as not to waste anything. It was DELICIOUS! We also received our meal already separated and split into 2 separate plates which was nice. It was great to be able to have it already portioned out for us and not have to do that ourselves. We would've been happy to do so, but it was a nice touch to have that done for us. If we make our sale, we will return to Muscatine and I WILL make it a point to make it here before we leave from Moline airport! read more

It's a great spot for a casual gathering or a romantic rendezvous. My girlfriend and I dined at the restaurant for the first time during a recent stay at the Axis. We started with the bistro chips appetizer which consists of house-made chips served with a fondue topped with pico de gallo. We were excited to try the fondue! Unfortunately, it was very bland. We tried our best to resuscitate it with salt and pepper. Albeit edible, it was far from delicious. On Friday and Saturday after 4 p.m., they feature an 11 oz. Prime Rib! Our entrées came out quickly. Our server apologized for the timing as the appetizer had just recently been served. We were OK with it as the appetizer was uninteresting. Both entrées were ordered medium. One was medium, the other was medium rare. When it comes to Prime Rib, I enjoy it cooked either way, so we simply swapped plates. The Prime Rib is served with garlic mashed potatoes, au jus, and horseradish sauce. We both would have preferred that the Prime Rib be plated on the side instead of directly on top of the mashed potatoes. The featured dessert that night was an adult pop tart. The French Dip had a nice soft bun and was quite good. The salad was just delicious, I love bleu cheese and this had plenty. Tied in with a perfectly cooked steak. The service was very attentive by Anna Lisa. The food was quickly made came out fast very tasty a lot of good Options in terms of proteins and vegetables beverage price point is probably somewhere to $25-$40 per entry so definitely not cheap eating experience however I felt the portions and the quality of food match the cost despite being in a hotel had a very classy vibe to it I'm not an alcohol drinker, but a lot of people in my group did have some drinks and seem like they found them satisfactory I'd recommend this place and definitely when I'm back in town. WOW! We got to attend the restaurant's soft opening, and had the best date night! First, the food. We tried some avocado fries for an appetizer and they were sooo good. I had the Cognac Shrimp, which came with gnocchi in a buerre blanc sauce and some green beans. It was fresh, rich, and absolutely delicious. My hubby tried the Roasted Half Chicken and really enjoyed it too. We splurged on the apple skillet for dessert and am so glad we did! It was especially delicious! It did feel a little strange though as we were some of the only people in the bar/restaurant. Happy hour includes basic beer/wine and well drinks, but since we live specialty cocktails we went with the Syndicate old fashioned abs the black raspberry lemon drop martini not on happy hour. They were both nicely prepared, though we thought it was odd that my husband got his drink before I did and there was no one in the place. Appetizers are half price for happy hour, so we ordered the cauliflower dip, sliders, and mushroom toast. All were good. We especially liked the cauliflower dip and sliders. The mushrooms were tasty but it was mostly bread abs sauce with very few mushrooms. Overall we had a nice dinner but for some reason it was just a bit off- can't describe why. Dined at the Syndicate twice during a four night stay at the Axis Hotel. The restaurant is adjacent and open to the hotel lobby, and offers an inviting atmosphere with comfortable seating in the dinning room or at the bar. Large screen TVs positioned around the dining room and bar offer a view of current sports events. The menu offered several appetizers, main courses and desserts. The first night I had stuffed ravioli with scallops and finished with the apple skillet. The scallops were perfectly cooked and the dish as a whole was flavorful. The apple crisp was served in a hot skillet with a thin layer of sliced seasoned apple on top of flaky pastry crust, and topped with ice cream. It was perfect with decaf coffee to top off a long travel day. The second night, My has abs and I both had the Farmers burger with the egg cooked over medium and extra bacon jam. It was excellent down to the last bite. My husband ordered crème brûlée, which was silky smooth and great with my coffee. Staff was friendly and accommodating!
