We tried this place after a recommendation from the internet sent us searching for this tiny bar. We had stayed at the Blackhawk a few months ago and had no idea that we were so close to such a hidden gem the entire time. The interior was super dark. The social distancing was done well despite how small it was inside, and there was a lot of outdoor seating as well. The cocktails were wonderful -- refreshing and unique. I had the pineapple martini and my husband had the kiwi. I also ordered a glass of the pineapple juice and it was DELICIOUS beyond words. All their juices are fresh pressed, not from cans or concentrate. We also had the charcuterie board and it was absolutely yummy. Variety of meats and cheeses including smoked duck (to die for!), green olives, and spectacular bleu cheese crumbles. We want to come back and try more of their food items but we had already eaten a huge dinner and were beyond full. read more

Cool place, great staff, disappointing cocktails. Stopped in here after dinner on a Saturday and was surprised to see it empty but for one couple. The decor/furnishing of the bar is great, it's got a great look. We opened the menu and were completely baffled. The cocktails are listed without ingredients, so it's very hard to know what you're actually ordering. Our server came over and very patiently explained the menu to us and helped us order. We got a King Kong, and Tart Cherry Tonic, and a strawberry kiwi martini (gross-sounding, I know). The server was super friendly and helpful (short lady with long braids). My drink (the tonic) was fine, I thought it tasted very watered-down, but that might just have been the style they were going for. My husband's (the King Kong) was also fine but also kind of weak. However the martini was really quite gross. It's fundamentally a tiny smoothie with vodka in it, not at all appetizing. He had a couple sips but left it undrunk. We urged him to send it back but he was too shy. Main takeaways: Big problems with the menu. Drinks need to have at least a couple ingredients listed. I used to be a server and if I had to explain every drink it would drive me crazy. Also there's too much on the drink menu. Do less and do it better. If you end up here, order a classic cocktail off-menu, it'll probably be good. read more

I must start by saying I am not a huge liquor drinker. I have an amazing palate though. I had a pineapple tonic, which was good. But I saw a jalapeño pineapple margarita delivered next to me and knew I HAD to have one. Holy cow, the heat from jalapeño, sweet from the pineapple, and smoky from the mezcal ! Great service, they have also expanded the fromage and cutteries menu. Pineapple Yum Yum is to die for but has since been changed to the Kiwi Yum Yum; much better I might add less tart. Blood Orange is my recent Fave @ this location. Custom Cocktails and creation lab is a main reason to visit this location as well as fresh fish. Few I have seen with such a fresh pokie bowl! :) Great Marlin & Ahi! In winter, I see more salmon. I would call ahead to see the list. I just moved to the quad cities from the east coast. I am accustomed to having fresh seafood all the time. Unfortunately, everywhere I tried in the quad cities disappointed.... Until I went to RAW. The fish they have is caught the same day and flown in from Hawaii. The fish changes daily due to what they get flown in. They have delicious drinks, made with fresh fruit and authentic flavors. The vibe is relaxed and upbeat, perfect for a casual night out with friends or a date night. I am absolutely obsessed with this place and will be back to try everything on the menu! read more

One of my favorite spots in the QCA. This place has a unique theme and sticks to it - delicious, simple food and drink with high quality ingredients, served in small batches. The staff is exceptionally friendly and always willing to cater to any specific needs. I took my parents who don't drink alcohol and Brant made them non-alcoholic beverages they both loved. They always have something for vegetarians/vegans as well which is nice. This is a great date night spot and good for a quick drink before a concert. Few spots compare. read more

I went here with one of our sons, when it was newly opened after a Ben Folds concert at the Adler. It was amazing then.....Last night , I convinced my husband to stop in there before the Jason Mraz concert. He's not a liquor enthusiast, but the appetizers looked inviting. The "waitress" brought the menu book and said she'd give us a 'quick minute' to look it over. Fifteen minutes later, after watching her fix drinks for folks at the bar ( I totally understand the staffing shortages) and then settle back for a 'break', I decided to approach the bar and ask for assistance in placing our order. The gentleman took our order...two drinks and a charcuterie board. They were delivered to our table in a reasonable time. One of our sons is the beverage director for the Alinea group in Chicago, so I know our expectations may be a little high. The drinks were good and the board was delicious, though a bit pricey for the quantity. Again, I know the reality of the world we live in. We got the bill (no, "can I get you anything else ?") I usually pay without looking at the details, but this time...there was a charge for something we didn't order. When I brought it to the attention of the 'server' she promptly took it off, but it sealed my decision to not return to Raw again. read more
