Paul showed up and was extremely friendly and helpful. He didn't hesitate to grab my rake and fix some things I didn't even know I was doing wrong. He sprayed the whole thing quickly and with a great attitude. He gave me tons of info and a nicely written instruction sheet. I followed the instructions perfectly the next few weeks and the grass was growing like crazy! VERY thick, green, nice grass. There were a few spots that needed some touchup. I emailed Terry, got a response quickly, and they were out the next day. Paul, once again, was incredible. He sprayed the spots again, making sure to ask me if I was happy or noticed anything he missed. This guy needs a raise Terry! :-D I highly recommend these guys, and will be using them at future houses for sure. Great job!

I also asked him to rototill and amend the soil with top quality amendments. We had talked about the 4 cu yards I would need. He arrived with his crew and they started clearing while Calmo went to pick up the plants I had purchased along with the amendments. He returned and we laid out the plants. I noticed he had not brought the rototiller or the soil amendment and asked. He skipped my question. He asked if I had planned on landscape fabric or bark chips. He said he had bark chips. I had not intended on it, but had 8 bags in the garage. He said we needed 20 more. I was getting frustrated that our visions were not meshing. We bought more mulch. Skipping to the end, my yard looks nicer, but I did not get what I wanted. He tried to push me towards getting sod and also having him put in a sprinkler system. I appreciate the work he did but feel like the communication was not great.

Of course, no company is perfect. So what I didn't like all too much was how I wasn't notified when there's a cancellation on mowings. I had to email them to ask. But they do respond to the email quickly. It'd just be nice if I stay in the loop. Overall, Hired does an outstanding job. I honestly don't know of a company that's better and cheaper. They came out and within a few hours all of our annoying blackberry bushes were gone. Like gone gone. I was so shocked when I saw it that I can't not just go out and stare at it. I know those bushes were pushing on the neighbors fence and it was stressing me out. The price was so spot on and perfect for what they did. The drip line will save me time this summer. I love the rebuilt retention wall - it looks awesome! And they placed the lights back in perfectly. I love working the yard in that area again. We had mole for the last 2 years and I am not a person that can poison them because I worry about another animal eating the poisoned mole. Anyway, they were patient with me in my emails to them stressing this over and over again. After 2 years of moles being in our yard, there were a lot of unevenness in the lawn and we did not feel comfortable with the grand kids playing out there.
