The stain was an oil base and after it was applied, the deck was slippery. My grandson and I both slipped and fell on the deck. After talking to his worker, he said it shouldn't be slippery. Also, after morning mist, we noticed mold or algae coming through. After two weeks , Justin couldn't solve the problem. He did send someone to power wash the deck which took away the excess oil however the algae or mold is still present. The owner, Justin, says there is nothing else that could be done and refuses to remedy this issue. I WOULD NOT recommend this company or individual to work on any part of my house again. I had someone come out and measure up the property but never heard back from them, only ended up going with Secoma after another contractor (fortunately, it would turn out) backed out, so I gave Secoma a call to see what happened with that quote and they finally sent it over, turned out to be the lowest quote relative to material selection. I got lucky but sucks that I nearly missed out on their excellent work and prices because of this.
