First experience with tree removal. Go Green was by no means the cheapest and fortunately for us, we don't shop for the cheapest. We look for the best value and the integrity of the people. Choosing Go Green proved to us, in both instances, we made the right choice. Our tree removal was technical, requiring a crane large enough to go over our house and hoist out in pieces, a 60' locust tree. Great care was taken with the existing landscaping under and around the tree. I believe they made the comment, "we'll treat it like we're working over a glass atrium". Truer words were never spoken. Robby & Todd were extremely knowledgeable about the different types of trees in our yard, how to trim and when to trim to keep the trees healthy. I got estimates from 3 different companies and they impressed me the most with their honesty, knowledge and commitment to the safety of their team. We had several very tall trees removed in a tight space (between a fence, a deck and two houses) that were covered with vines. It was a big job, but they were up to the task and handled it better than I could have imagined. They meticulously cleaned up before leaving and the entire crew was pleasant to have around. I even saw them chatting with some of the neighbor kids who were impressively watching their maneuvers. They willingly provided proof of liability and workman's comp insurance, which was important to me as well. Go Green Tree & Stump Removal happened to been doing a stump removal for our neighbor. I asked him if he could walk over & give us an estimate & he gladly oblige. We contacted several tree companies for an estimate on a dead Ash Tree and trimming of branches on two other trees. One Company's price was $7000 over his price. The other ones took 2wks to return our call. Today Todd & his crew came & removed the huge dead tree & trimmed some branches from the others we had requested. Their professionalism & detail to ensuring our property was protected during the removal of the trees proved how important their customers are to them. The crew was extremely efficient, as well as very courteous and respectful, both to our trees as well as to ourselves. Go Green's arborist (Robby) has worked with us on previous occasions, and is consistently knowledgeable, professional and helpful. This company was prompt, courteous, and efficient. I received a call back within 5 minutes and a home visit within the same hour. After a wind catastrophe took a tree down in my back yard, it was necessary that I call a professional to remove. I received 3 bids; of the three, Go Green not only had a fair price but also allowed me to negotiate an even lower price by doing some of the work prior to their arrival. I had an extensive amount of work done. The Go Green crew started at 9am and like a well oiled machine, they removed trees, brush, dangerous limbs & cleaned my pond on over 3 acres. When a tree trunk broke without warning, one of the crew ran and held the main part of the trunk so it did not fall onto my house, then pushed it away as the cut was finished. These guys are amazing. They removed 2 very large trees from my property with a crane. I was told they would start by 9am and be done by noon. They were late getting started to no fault of their own and they still got done by noon. Todd and his team were amazing. The neighbors enjoyed the show too. You may be able to find cheaper service but I bet you won't find better. My only concern is that I can't give them more than 5 stars. They deserve it! read more
