So beginning of August 2022, I arrived at 935pm to grab some things from storage before heading out the next morning to Ohio to my mom's house. My gf arrived to help me load the few items, I was transporting onto my trailer. She mentioned jokingly something about the facility closing at 10 pm and hoped they'd let us out the gate. Ladies and gents, we were locked in the facility for over an hour. The woman who owns it/lives above the office, refused to help is as this stores policy is not to interact with customers after business hours. We had to call 911 who sent a Jasper deputy or PD to let us out. The kicker is that the manager who lives upstairs was on the phone with the officer to let us out and gave him the code to do it instead of coming down stairs and doing it her lazy self!! The officer informed is that this was the first time he had come out but had heard it has happened before more than once. The legal out they give themselves is that the pedestrian gate was open... meaning we were free to escape if we left our things and vehicles there. Worst of all the manager wrote my gf (the property owner) a scathing email the next day threatening her with trespassing and distributing the peace. She also threatened to evict her if there was another "incident" mind you I was talking loudly about how horrible a business it to hold their patrons hostage against their will, all the while she was peering out the window above us... very "it puts the lotion on its skin..." If we had the money, time or energy to change storage locations...we % would! But again... we feel trapped read more

I showed up yesterday with a truckload of stuff. Matt and Laura were so accommodating and helpful. Matt went above and beyond to make sure my belongings were safe and properly stored. They were very flexible about reserving sizes. I first reserved 5 10x10's, then changed it to 2 10x20's last minute . Amazing customer service and facilities. Great online deals. Under new mgmt, and they are doing a poor job so far. The gate was stuck open all week, and now it won't open at all. It's a holiday weekend and I'm unable to access my storage unit. I waited on hold for over 15 minutes before someone finally picked up, and they were zero help. read more

At the Fletcher store and Beth is getting me into unit .I was going on to leave a review for that store it would not let me go to another location to do that however the place is clean and neat and she was able to get me into unit before they even opened. Do not use this storage facility, it is under new management and they are awful. They are so unprofessional and you have no way to contact anyone local if you need them. The first week of December when I called, (gate was not working then) they told me it was fixed and there wasn't a problem. So moved on with our moving plans....well it is still not working and its moving day ( December 14th)! We set up a moving truck and men and went to move out and the gates will not work. Tried calling for two hours, finally called the Make a Payment line (they pick that up) management told us it could take two weeks before the gate is fixed! Two weeks is not acceptable, they have my money and my furniture. I have set up automatic payments so of course they always get my money....but you can not get your things out of storage when you want them. They then told me we have access as we can use the pedestrian gate, (down hill, two blocks to unit) how do they think you will get furniture up hill without a vehicle through the gate? This is terrible business, an awful policy.....terrible way to treat clients. read more

Laura Roger's, Ridgeland Facility is the absolute best! Customer service, information provided, ease of obtaining the correct unit for my needs, full explanation of upgrades/offers for extended rental times, were all more than I expected when calling for a unit. I've stored things before at other locations in different states, but never received an actual detailed tour of the facility and examination of the available spaces. Security system, durable indestructible locks provided for minimal charge. Easy contract via computer signing, thorough explanations, pleasant, happy demeanor, and her assistant was equally kind, friendly, and both seemed to find customer satisfaction their absolute reason for being there so late on a Saturday to ensure I got my unit for the long Labor day weekend of moving from my sold Hilton Head home. The location is ideal for travel off I-95, SC 170, for future return once I'm settled in my new place. As an added note, we both realized quickly we knew each other from living in Richmond Hill, where she was equally dedicated to customers where she helped manage a coffee/pastry shop!
