I am moving from Houston to Lake Charles. I called multiple storage facilities in which none of…read morethem had any open units which I anticipated due to so many people in the area still being displaced from hurricane laura and delta. Jacob at prime was one of the only people to take down my information and put me on a waiting list. He called me immediately when he unexpectedly had a unit come available. As I am still residing in Houston and unable to go in to sign the paperwork, he sent me ensign documents via email and made it extremely easy for me to secure the unit. He even set up my gate code over the phone and put a lock on my unit for me. I can't say enough good things about Jacob and Prime!!

I had my movers load their truck and start driving to my unit! We were stuck in traffic for quit some time when I realized they would be closed by the time we were to arrive! Not by a dollar or 2, one of mine was raised by $12 & the other by $16. Next problem I had was them charging me insurance when I never had a lapse in coverage, which is $24.97 mo. I called on say to clear my account & they needed to call me back because they couldn't figure it out. I was busy and had to go out of town so I call them back today and they have charged a $20 late fee because it should have been paid yesterday. They won't waive the fee because they already helped me out on the insurance. EXCUSE ME, YOU DIDN'T HELP ME OUT, YOU CORRECTED YOUR ERROR. I can't wait to move my stuff to a more HONEST & helpful business. PLEASE DO YOUR HOMEWORK & ASK THE RIGHT QUESTIONS: WHEN & HOW MUCH IT WILL GO UP. THEIR TERMS FOR LATE FEES, 1st one $20, 2nd one $60, in 1 month. This is charged if you have pending matters going on with them or not. INSURANCE THEY CHARGE IF YOU DON'T Provide them with a copy of your homeowners policy. And if they don't get a copy of your policy at renewal, they will charge it and even if you provide them with the policy, they will not remove the charge.
