    Pumpkin spice espresso martini

Grabbed a drink at goat and rabbit for happy hour. I love the space, service is always great, and the drinks are awesome. Their seasonal espresso martini is always my go to. The fall one is pumpkin spice and SO GOOD. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area!

This place is one my top fav cocktail establishments! Each visit they have a new variety of options along with some staples. I really like the Cosmo with the Apricot Foam. Service is efficient & helpful, love the decor & overall vibe.

Goat & Rabbit is a cocktail bar that's been on my radar and have been looking forward to going for a while, so Saturday we made our appearance. Christmas in July was the theme this month. They had multiple specialty drinks for the month of July, The decorations made the cocktail bar fun and very inviting . It was time to order after taking the view, I settled for an Espresso Martini it was good but a little too strong for me, can't waste a drink took me a while to finish it. My husband opt for hamm's beer. Visited on a Saturday afternoon and was not too busy. After a couple of hours, we made our way to the back patio, which has a cute little vibe. The staff were very friendly and made their way out to the back to check on us often. I am glad we were able to make it. I really enjoyed myself and we will be back soon. Location: 1804 W. 39th St. Hours: Monday -Wednesday 4 PM -10 PM Thurs -Friday 4 PM -12 AM Sat 9 AM - 12 AM Sun 9 AM - 10 PM

Amazing Zero-Proof Cocktails + Whimsical Vibe Goat & Rabbit is such a gem for anyone looking for thoughtful, creative zero-proof cocktails in Kansas City. Their NA drinks are intentional, well-balanced, and honestly some of the most unique I've tried. I ordered two drinks: * Smedley Gaze (9.5/10) Spicy, refreshing, citrusy -- SO good. If you like a spicy margarita or anything with a kick, this is the one. The Ritual tequila, cucumber, Thai chili, and lime work together beautifully. * Petal Talk (7.5/10) Fruity and slightly sweet with the most amazing lychee foam. It had a flavor reminiscent of really good berry jam -- such a fun and unique drink. They don't serve food, but they are outside food friendly which is a huge plus. The atmosphere is whimsical and cozy, especially right now with their Mad Hatter inspired "Very Merry Unbirthday" tea party theme. It gives the whole place such a fun, imaginative vibe. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're sober, sober-curious, or just want an elevated NA cocktail experience in KC! (Review by @sobersipskc on TikTok and Instagram)

Love this little place! It's warm, inviting, & trendy. Definitely smaller but still has several seating options - bar, high tops, couches. The cocktails were crafty & creative. Great selection but not too overwhelming of a drink menu. The servers were also genuine & attentive. Will be coming back!

Happy hours is always a good time here at goat and rabbit. Two dollars off cocktails and they have a nice variety to choose from. Right now it's Christmas in July so I got the Rum Rum Rudolph... very good! Super friendly staff, very helpful. Love to come here!!

Love this place!! I always try to stop by when they have a new menu to try whatever their genius minds have created. I caught the last day for the Dubai Chocolate Espresso Martini and it did not disappoint! Craft cocktails is an art and science and they are great at it. Make sure you check out their new menu for June!

KUMO- tequila and a white cocktail

Goat & Rabbit is a true hidden gem in Kansas City! I'm always on the hunt for a great espresso martini, and while they do an amazing job with those, I discovered a new favorite on my last visit that completely blew me away. I tried the KUMO, which is an incredible concoction of Blue Spirulina, Blanco Tequila, Japanese Plum Wine, Thai Basil, Lemon, and a Lychee Egg White Cloud. The drink was not only beautiful to look at but also perfectly balanced and delicious... a must try! The atmosphere here is absolutely amazing. The vibes are super chill and sophisticated. While there isn't a ton of seating, the large U shaped bar and cozy couches make it an intimate and comfortable place to relax and enjoy a great cocktail. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a unique and high quality drink experience with a cool atmosphere.

This place is so cute! They had a special AAPI menu for the month and we got some drinks off there. The dubai chocolate espresso martini was really good and sweet! The matcha drink is good as well and better when you mix up the foam with the drink. They turn cocktails into art! The staff was helpful, sweet, and answered all of our questions kindly. The only downside is that there were not enough seats. A lot of people were standing waiting for seats to open up and it felt a bit crowded. Overall, I would come back and try their other drinks!

The Volker neighborhood on 39th Street has always been a bit eclectic, but I never would have described it as savvy and sophisticated until now - kind of. The bar - whose name is a throwback to KC's Shannon and Pendergast era - does a fantastic job making you feel comfortable. They keep it a little dark, so you can mingle, but not be seen. If you know what I mean. The cocktail menu includes a lot of your favorite go-to drinks. There's a seasonal drink menu, too, if you're feeling a little creative. Beer is available on tap and in cans. Wine and non-alcoholic drinks are, too. The bartenders are super cool. They're happy to answer any questions and mix it up a little because not only do they know their booze, but they know Kansas City. It's the perfect place for happy hour, an after dinner drink or a spot to wax poetic over your favorite dram.

First time visiting Goat & Rabbit and absolutely loved the vibes of this place! Free seating and first come first serve on Friday's and Saturday's. I always enjoy a cocktail bar that uses Asian infused ingredients which were exactly in the Matcha made in heaven and Kumo drink. Both drinks were light and fruity without being alcohol forward. The black Manhattan and espresso martini are staples and great for someone wanting a classic cocktail. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the KC area and a block away from University of Kansas Medical center.

One of the bars that we always wanted to visit and experience your cocktails. This was the day we ended up going there and it was an amazing day. Beautiful weather Halloween was coming on the way so they decorated this place so beautifully. Please check out all my pictures you would see them building this amazing theme of Halloween a spooky environment inside the bar looks amazing. Very beautifully decorated. The interior was awesome. There is an outdoor seating as well. There is a common area. There is also bar seating. There's plenty of seating But this place had amazing drinks beautiful service but no food. You should definitely go there to try their drinks.

Walked into Goat & Rabbit with a group of six on a Saturday evening and we were able to grab a table no problem. We only ended up staying for one drink due to it being kind of hot in the building. The drinks were all very unique with fun names! I ordered a Matcha Made in Heaven and it was great! I wish it was slightly more spirit-forward, I couldn't taste any of the tequila. Overall I would return if I was in the area!

The photos looked amazing, and this place has solid reviews so I was walking in with a certain expectation. What was remarkable is how it was even better than I thought it would be. Let's start with the ambiance. The actual cafe is very small but charming. If it's cold or rainy outside you might need to skip Le Champion unless it's not busy as I think only a few folks can really fit inside. The inside is well designed though, and feels charming without being overwhelming. What stole the show for me though was the patio. As someone who studied abroad in France it felt so French to me in the best way. To me, it feels like taking a Parisian cafe and mixing it with a hip KC bar - it doesn't feel necessarily exactly like one or the other, but it compliments both and feels uniquely it's own in the best way possible. On the day I visited it was absolutely gorgeous outside and I had one of the best breakfast burritos of my life, mostly due to their chimichurri sauce. I also pretty much add a star for any place that keeps espresso tonic on the menu. Overall I love Le Champion and can't wait to return.

My Winner of Best Restaurant Week Meal 2026…read more I hadn't been back to Westport Cafe for a few years but now I'm kicking myself because I've been missing out! I remembered this restaurant being one of my favorites in years past . For some reason it fell off my radar. Now it's shining like a beacon of fine dining French inspired cuisine in Westport, an entertainment district known for a more casual environment. If you are looking for a special date night meal, somewhere for a girls night or just for a treat yourself dinner I would highly suggest Westport Cafe. Let's talk about this incredible restaurant week menu. First was the deconstructed crab cake (which is always on the menu) I would order this dish again and again. The way it was presented was a work of art. All the components were complex and it was fun to eat. It has such an essence of crab without the heaviness deep fried crab cakes usually have. Seafood is special here because the Trout Almondine was one of the best fish dishes I've ever had. It begs to be added to the menu. The sauce was buttery and rich with nutty notes, the citrus cut through the richness so, it didn't seem heavy. The fish was cooked impeccably, I literally had no notes. They know what they're doing in that kitchen! And you know if I can rave about green beans then it was a perfectly executed dish. They had such a nice snap and vibrant green color, they were delicious dipped in that sauce. I cannot wait to go back for another solo splurge meal. This was my second dinner of the evening so I didn't make it to dessert at the restaurant but, I did take it to-go. I'm not a big dessert girl so, it wasn't very memorable however, the rest of the meal is engrained in my mind. I remember back a few years ago I used to go crazy for the muscles here so, I can't wait to sample them again. Also, just a note any menu that has rabbit on it just completes me. It's so hard to find nowadays in Kansas City and it's one of my favorite meats to indulge in. The menu rotates seasonally (as one should) so, I need to rush back in soon before the rabbit leaves. I would suggest you rush in too, I do not think you'll regret it.

They have a pretty great happy hour menu, which we ended up choosing from so we could try multiple things. Everything was delicious and the flavor combinations were unexpected and wonderful. This is not a cheap place to dine, but if you want to treat yourself, do it here! Sometimes when we dine at a $$$ restaurant we leave thinking, "...that wasn't THAT much better than..." and feel like the food didn't justify the price. BUT this was not the case at Westport Cafe. Every thoughtfully prepared bite felt special and worth every cent.

My parents came into town, and I wanted to show them a fun new spot! So I made a rooftop reservation at Blanc... And it ended up pouring that day--luckily, the staff at Blanc were super helpful and worked out another place inside for us to enjoy some beverages and apps! Thanks to all the staff for the help, and not only were they amazingly friendly, but super prompt and attentive. We ended up getting a round of drinks (kir royale, sunrise sangria, blush theory, and French 75). All were great and hit the spot! We also got a couple of appetizers: crab rangoon dip and lamb meatballs. Again, both hit the spot and were nice bites for us before we headed to our dinner reservation. Also we were celebrating my parents' anniversary, so they were offered a pair of chambongs... Champagne in a bong shaped vessel? Super fun and random, so I'm happy we had the experience! Everything we tried was delicious, but the food really surprised us in the best way. We shared the meat and cheese charcuterie board, Sticky Korean Shortribs, Spicy Crispy Shrimp, and Pomme Frites with two dippings, and honestly... there wasn't a single miss. The shortrib bites were super flavorful, the shrimp were perfectly crispy, and the fries + dips were the perfect shareable snack.
