I really enjoyed my time at Goat and Rabbit. I came here on a date and I definitely will be back. This is a very spacious bar, but also very intimate. I love the dim lighting and the different seating that they have. My favorite part was the back patio area and there is an extra ducted off room that is more intimate than the inside. The bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable. I got one drink off the menu and he made me a drink based on what I liked for my second drink I will say that the drinks are very strong. I generally like a balanced cocktail, but I won't complain about a strong drink either. Once I told him what I wanted, and he was able to adjust my drink even the one that came off the menu. The cocktail that I got was called it's more than peeling. It was good, but very strong I asked for more chocolate to balance it out and that made it perfect for me. read more

They had multiple specialty drinks for the month of July, The decorations made the cocktail bar fun and very inviting . It was time to order after taking the view, I settled for an Espresso Martini it was good but a little too strong for me, can't waste a drink took me a while to finish it. My husband opt for hamm's beer. Visited on a Saturday afternoon and was not too busy. After a couple of hours, we made our way to the back patio, which has a cute little vibe. This amazing bar is tucked behind a narrow door that you could easily miss if you are not careful. Definitely worth looking for. The cocktails are great, varied and interesting, it makes you want to come back again just to work your way through the specialty cocktail on the menu. I'm not a fan of the scan QR code for the menu kinda person but I survived. The area is small but feels spacious. It's well designed for optimal space and the noise level was great for conversations. The drink's seem to rotate seasonally, are fun, feel thoughtful and are below the market. We got the butter beer which wasn't overly sweet, light, fizzy and actually quite wonderful. The cocktails wasn't a cop out and felt like it was worth the money. The espresso martini was made with a fresh pull espresso that is the star of the drink. Not alcoholic at all which is scary. To my surprise, not only did they have their October/Fall House Cocktails, they also had Halloween styled drinks as well! They even decorated the bar with a spooky vibe! Their Nightmare on 39th Street menu consists of five spooky cocktails. I had the Now We Got Bag Blood and the Hit Me With Your Best Shot. Now We Got Bag Blood comes in a bag that looks just like a hospital blood bag! It was a mixture of Red Wine Blend, Apple Brandy, Bourbon, Fall Spice Honey, Pomegranate, and Peach & Pear Cordial. I'm not much of a red wine drinker, but mixed with all those ingredients I couldn't pass it up! Hit Me With Your Best Shot was a Vodka, lemonade, condensed milk and mint cocktail. Then inside of the drink is a syringe filled with Raspberry Coulis. I can't wait to go back and try the rest of the Nightmare menu as well as the Autumn menu based drinks (there was pumpkin spiced espresso martini that sounded amazing!) FYI, even with the highly detailed ingredient list for the cocktails, the bartenders and mixologists make sure you get your drink quickly! Cheers! read more

This is my favorite cocktail bar in KC. The drinks were AMAZING. The Beautiful Red Bell was the first gin cocktail I have ever liked, and might now be my favorite drink all-time. We then had the Espresso Martini, which apparently is their signature cocktail, and it was so good we ordered second one instantly. I don't think I have ever drank cocktails faster than I did here. Service was fast, even while busy, friendly, and knowledgeable. This is a very cool bar through and through and I can't wait to return. read more
